Very unhappy with Dream Finders from the start. Horrible communication during building process and with following up; should have been a clear sign. We moved in months past our original date, but still the home was only partially finished. No mirrors, no light fixtures, no shower doors. Carpeting and tile unfinished. Painting only half done. Warranty was a nightmare and no help at all. Sting you along and only bring in the same horrible contractors they used in the first place, so nothing really ever gets fully 'fixed'. The hardwood was not installed properly and had to be replaced number times in multiple places and is already having issues again. The tile in the shower floor had to be completely ripped up and replaced. Tile in other rooms started cracking only to reveal that many tiles were laid using dots of caulking in the corners and not laid properly. Painting we gave up on and just did ourselves to avoid having them come back in our home and only continue to perform a sub par job. I wish I could say this was an anomaly but all of my neighbors reported many issues as well and told me they just gave up and decided to start fixing things themselves. I would sincerely recommend staying far far away from Dream Finders, it is far from worth dealing with them, as you can tell from numerous other reviews in many places and not worth the headache. read more

Do NOT purchase a home from Dream Finders! They installed the wrong pavers on our three-car driveway and will NOT replace them with what we chose at the model home when the contract was written. Terrible experience with this builder! Make sure you read the fine print in the contract; they can change any product you choose to something else. read more

If you're considering buying a home from Dream Finders shoot your self in the foot instead. It will be more pleasant experience and cost you less. They do not honor their warranty and find every reason why not to fix problems. Very poor quality home with several issues. We have been in our house for less than two months and have been asking them to fix a drainage issue. From almost day one. They refuse to fix the issue. Neighbors having same issue with the warranty. DreamFinders Homes was our worst nightmare! We started with them in late March 2021 by signing our contract and paying "a lot premium deposit " all with an expectation by having a home by late December/ early January 2022. Things quickly went off the rail when our sales person was fired in June. He subsequently called us and claimed the only reason he was fired was DreamFinders could not afford to pay him the$500,000 of commission they owed him. Further, he stated that they were cashed strapped and we should be very cautious moving forward with them. Our new sales people quickly convinced us otherwise and regrettably, we stayed the course. Predictably, the last 2 months have been nothing short of miserable as they have been filled with one disheartening misrepresentation after another from the new sales team. The final straw became upon learning that nearly 6 months into our contract, DreamFinders never bought our lot from the developer in spite of the fact that they are holding $135,000 of our money!! To make matters worse we will likely spend thousands of dollars on legal fees in the hopes of seeing our deposit returned even though DreamFinders never started to actually build our house. Please be careful before moving forward with this company. We are 6 months in and stuck in an apartment and having to start all over. It appears our first sales person may have been right after all! read more

We closed on our home last week 6/15/22, and have been made promise after promise by the contractor to have our unfinished installations completed and yet nothing has been completed. The quality from the beginning was subpar to say the least. We have been going back and forth with them for the last 7 months during the build about the crappy craftsmanship. The vendors and subcontractors do the most horrible and shotty work that I have ever seen in my life. None of them seemingly know how to use a tape measure, because almost everything is uneven and crooked to the naked eye. And let me not forget to mention that the people who installed our irrigation system put 2 of our sprinkler heads outside of the property line!! When asked to move them, they moved one and tried to bury the other under some dirt. Like WTF!! Now that we have closed on the home with tons of unfinished and subpar repairs still outstanding, the contractor keeps selling us hoop dreams and never follows through. I email him and even ride through the neighborhood to flag him down and speak with him whenever I see him out there and still nothing but words. My husband and I are truly fed up with them. My best advice would be to avoid Dream Finders like the plague!! Take your money and business elsewhere. read more

Like so many others, I don't believe even 1/10 of a star is deserved but at least one is required to post a review. We have built 4 homes, renovated 3, & this experience with Marcus Meade has by far been the absolute worst-abysmal at best. The house took over a year and a half longer than expected yet we have heard directly from Meade only 3 times, and that was after repeated requests for contact. I would say communication was poor but basically it was non-existent. I was pushed for selections, yet 2+ years later some were still on back order. Three project managers left during the build, who could blame them? The stress and frustration has been horrific and yet Meade seems to have zero empathy, hard to understand how he can sleep at night. Luckily we hired an independent engineer and inspector so we know that that the finished product was solid, but note that Mead eventually would not allow our inspector on the property, hmmm, wonder why? Meade also eventually scheduled our walk-throughs over the holidays with total disregard to the fact we had travel plans and family coming into town. When there was a death in our immediate family he continued to demand a closing, but due to an inspection issue it was thankfully pushed a week. Again, how does he sleep?? DO NOT get into business with this individual or DF Luxury Homes, I promise you if our build was offered at even half the cost, knowing what we know now, we would not even consider it for a split second. At one point during this agonizing process we were asked to join a lawsuit against DFLH, sure wish we had. Again, go with anyone other than DF luxury, the most unprofessional company and builder we have ever encountered. read more

Knock on any door and speak to the homeowners before you sign papers and agree to buy a DF home. Be aware and educated with the truth because a lot is at stake. The true marketing for any builder should be the reviews from the homeowners, not the self-promoted marketing done by the home builder. read more

We've had some issues with our property since we moved in. Dream Finders not only took responsibility (for things that were out of their control) but has handled any issue we've had with their contractors. The customer service has been amazing and everyone we've worked with has been more than accommodating. Our home is beautiful and the price we paid for it is unbeatable. Scott Harvey and Dan Peiratti are two of the people we've worked with directly and both are down to earth, honest and accommodating. The only "bad" thing I can say is that our HOA fee is ridiculous, but I'm not even sure that is something that Dream Finders controls. Wonderful company and employees. read more

On Saturday Jan. 26th, 2019, I signed a contract with Dillon Woodall from Dream Finders Home in the Blanco Vista Subdivision and put down 2000 dollar earnest money to hold the house that my family and I wished to purchase. In the contract it said I had 7 days to obtain a loan for this home. I was working with a national lender to use my VA loan. The earnest money and contract was to keep anyone from purchasing this house in those 7 days. On Wednesday Jan. 30th which is 4 days later, I was told that there was a cash offer on the house and they were going to sell the house to the cash buyers. I was also told that my contract didn't matter because the Dillon's management hadn't signed the contract and that it was just a piece of paper that meant nothing. They were taking the cash offer and sorry for my luck. read more

Good luck in trying to get your home complete! Today is 09/14/2018 and we are supposed to close 11/06/2018 but still do not have dry wall. Design is awful- they offer no "design" suggestions and can't get their stuff together. Requests don't get met. We have contacted the big wigs and it's like ring-around-the-rossie. We have to jump when they say jump but if we ask for something, it is an option whether or no they respond. If it wasn't for the location where our home is being built, we would have long pulled out. Give me the hit list and I guarantee I could get our home complete! A greater effort, more organization and team work is greatly needed. read more

I rarely leave bad reviews and less a company richly deserves it and dream finders richly deserves it! We had a horrible experience! We were going to purchase from them in Beachwalk and gave them A huge check! They lied to us over two months and then one day, they just decided to stop and told us they were no longer willing to do any of the things they said they would for the last two months! We reached out to a higher level management (a guy name Andrew - a British man) who never called us back! Do not do business with these people unless you want to be strung along and waste your money! They should change their name to dream wreckers! Do yourself a favor and read their Google reviews and you'll see why smart people stay away from dream finders! Notice how all of their negative Google reviews were people are complaining that they didn't honor their word! I wish we would have ran when we read the reviews rather than thinking they would actually do something different when we used them. It's in their DNA from the top down! I can't believe they actually sponsor the Jaguars! It's a smear on the Jaguars name and on Jacksonville! Run! read more
