After 3 YEARS of cleaning for the super LAZY employees (NOT all of them, but they know who they are) and the clients who don't care about the place at all... deficate all over the toilet and surrounding areas and urinate all over like it's a park bathroom... spit all over the mirrors, spit on the floor mucus and gum.....(dont worry i have photos...) they REFUSE to pay me my final paycheck. The new "REINVISION" people that partnered with optimum.. it's unfortunate after 3 years that this is the thank you for your services that I get.. Until I got sick I was VERY dependable and took care of the cleaning to the best of my abilities.. always bringing my own supplies and vacuums to keep things tidy.. With such a small amount of money owed to me ($250) it shouldn't be such an issue with such a "reputable company".

Coach Marcus was awesome about introducing me and the members immediately embraced the "new guy" as one of their own. If that was all I had to say about Lawless, that'd be reason enough to give it a try but the combination of the AWESOME vibe of the gym, and EXCELLENT coaching just put this place over the top. The first session is free, and then for those new to CrossFit have to complete 4 personal training sessions before going full tilt with any sessions they want(experienced people can opt to show what they know and skip the training sessions). Which considering the day after my first visit, (I only lasted just past the warm up before I had to tap out) i could barely lift my arms the next day... I can TOTALLY understand getting my "giraffe on rollerskates" phase out of the way in one on one sessions. Plus then i won't terrify those around me thinking i might lift and go toppling onto them or grip the kettle bell wrong and accidentally send it through the wall. The twisted part of being crazy sore the day after my first visit? I was still thinking "I could do that again" "even just the warm up was a good workout to go for" "i can TOTALLY do better during the 4 sessions" Nick is an amazing coach/trainer, his energy and enthusiasm is contagious. If you're feeling like "oh I'm not sure if i want to go to CrossFit today" within minutes you'll be wondering WHY you ever thought you wouldn't want to be there. He mixes the "YOU CAN DO IT! KEEP IT GOING!" with sarcasm and humor so you're mentally stimulated in different ways. And as someone that gets bored EASILY, that's HIGHLY important.

The trainers Melissa and Amanda are welcoming to everyone and encouraging throughout each workout. I really mean that. I have been to many gyms in my life and this one has figured it out. I feel accepted and welcomed whenever I have stepped foot in the gym. I look forward to getting up for a 9am or 10am saturday workout. (I mean if that doesn't say something - like hello, what gym makes you excited to get up at 7:30 on a Saturday morning after a long work week!?) This is a group HIIT workout gym where they have a set schedule of their classes Monday through Saturday. I have tried out many different group fitness style gyms and this one is the best by far. I love how they explain all of the exercises prior to starting, but they also check on everyone to make sure that you are doing the movement correctly. I think this is HUGE in maintaining a great workout and preventing injury. This gym is phenomenal and you can see how they've really built a strong community.
