However, midway through my appointment, I went to the bathroom and came back. After sitting for about 5 minutes, I look down to see there was a roach crawling on my arm. I shook it off and the owner ( I assume) stomped on it and moved me to another chair. Now at this point, I am highly uncomfortable because of the roach. I wanted to get out of there as fast as I could. Earlier in the appointment I had asked if they could be done at 5, and they said yes. Sadly, I am still in the chair until almost 7p.m. and the owner kept telling me that I needed to be patient. Finally, my hair is done and the owner comes to me to say that CashApp has a fee and that I need to send more than what she told me in the beginning. I was only willing to send $5 dollars on top of what she originally asked me. Later in the night on the same day, I was running my fingers through my braids to get some knots out and guess what. I have only ever used Bohyme hair and bought it from a wig store ordering by phone before online shopping was even a thing but continued to order by phone from Sam until my last days working behind the chair. Not 1 time out of over a thousand did I receive a package of Bohyme hair that was less than exceptional. I would personally guarantee the hair to my clients for 6months before needing new install with adjustment needed when they came in for color 4-6 weeks. Over the years I had a few clients needing to wear the extensions 6m to 1 yr for financial reasons and did bc the hair was in great condition still. I haven't worked at a salon in many yrs but I still use the products that made me. I've been wearing extensions for the last 5 yrs using Bohyme hair only still and THIS IS THE FIRST TIME EVER that the hair I put in matted up and was a tangled mess after washing it. I thought my fault being exposed to drywall dust home renovation so I didn't complain OCT 2025. JANI. 2026 just installed the remaining new hair 3 weeks ago and THE HAIR MATTED UP JUST LIKE THE THE FIRST TIME! I left messages for the owner JOSEPH CHEN WHO HAS NOT REPLIED BACK. I immediately emailed SHF and their Rep said I should have applied glue or tape to the ends to reinforce the machine-weft hair. Not only were me and my Hairdresser puzzled over this response but NO WHERE ON THEIR WEBSITE does it say to do this, in fact it states you can treat as you do your own hair. I did everything the Rep requested of me and communicated at every level. To be treated like this is horrible on top of having bad hair that you have to deal with because the company will not honor their guarantee or their word of refunding your money.
