We have used Dreamland 3 times in one year! Hands down the best! The guides are wonderful! The scenery in this area can only be reached by a 4x4 or appropriate vehicle...we like to leave that to the professionals. Thank you Paul and Sonny!

Highly recommend! If you are looking for an unforgettable adventure, Dreamland Safari Tours is where it's at! I just spent a remarkable weekend with their crew, being honored with the 2025 Women's Adventure Award. The staff makes you feel welcome and special! And they won permits to the Wave for us! Woot Woot! First off, the Wave itself - EPIC. The vibrant rock formations look like something straight out of a sci-fi movie. You feel like you're walking through a dream, with dancing colors of red, orange, and yellow -- nature delivering the most amazing masterpiece. It's no wonder it's one of the most sought-after hiking destinations in the world! But what really made this trip special was our guide. Andrea Jasper is knowledgeable, funny, and passionate about the landscape. She was also quite emboldening when I needed a bit of a push to adventure beyond the Wave. Andrea kept the group moving forward safely while ensuring we all felt supported and encouraged. She not only explained the history, the geology, and all the little hidden gems that make the Wave so unique, but she captured amazing images our crew of beautiful award winners. I bet she has done this hike a hundred times, yet she still spoke with energy and reverence about the landscape and history. As for my fellow 2025 Women's Adventure Award hiking family, they were fantastic! The vibe was so friendly and fun, and you could tell everyone was there to soak in the beauty and share the adventure together. There was so much laughter and camaraderie--it felt like we were all old friends by the end. Dreamland Safari doesn't just show you the sights - they make sure you experience them, with a guide like Andrea making it all the more unforgettable. They've got the magic, the people, and the enthusiasm to make it an adventure of a lifetime. 10/10 would recommend! Thank you Dreamland for our extraordinary weekend!

Had a fantastic trip today visiting Peakaboo canyon. Felt like a VIP experience and everything from the hotel pick up to the detailed explanations and mini geology lessons was much appreciated. Had some fun local insight gossip about Kanab as well so it was an overall very satisfying trip

Some friends of ours recommended Dreamland Safaris to us and it seemed like a convenient way to attempt to get Wave permits. We booked a conditional tour with them. With that, they take care of entering the daily lottery for you. If you don't win, you get to pick from a few of their other tours as backup options (like Coyote Buttes South and White Pocket). It's very hard to get a Wave permit, so I figured we'd be doing one of the backup options (both of which require 4WD). I was so excited when I got a text the day before that they won Wave permits for us! We hike a lot and I thought I wouldn't really like a guided hiking tour that much, but I was completely wrong. We asked for Mel since our friends recommended her and she was awesome. It didn't feel overly tour-y, which I appreciated. I loved that she took us to so many other places in addition to the Wave. Had we hiked on our own, we definitely wouldn't have seen as much. We hiked about 7.5 miles total and it felt moderate to us, but obviously that can be different for everyone. The landscape of Coyote Buttes North is incredible. The Wave was even cooler than what I imagined from seeing pictures. It was a fantastic day. We usually don't like tours very much, but this is hands down the best tour we've ever done (and not because of the landscape). Mel did a great job and we will definitely do more of their tours next time we're in Kanab!

After not winning the Wave lottery, we took the Dreamland Safari recommendation to try the South Coyote Buttes tour. South Coyote Buttes is amazing, and the tour was Great! Our guide, Maddi, was very friendly and knowledgeable, it was very clear that she knows and loves the area; and was happy to share it with us. We saw many incredible vistas, amazing rocks and rock formations, even dinosaur tracks. We decided on the tour because we didn't have the recommended four-wheel drive, high-clearance vehicle, but soon realized that the real value was in having a great guide in that huge, beautiful area. Thank you Maddi and Dreamland for a great day!

Truly a five star operation. Everything from their website and equipment to the wide selection of tours available. This was our second outing with Dreamland and once again they did not disappoint. Easy to deal with and great communication. Our guide, Ian, did a terrific e job engaging and informative everyone. Ian had to draw on his best sand driving skills to navigate around a stick vehicle that shouldn't have tried to make the trip. When the sign says four-wheel vehicles required...they are not kidding. We did the slot canyon and dinosaur track trip. Slot canyon awesome as usual for photos. Dinosaur tracks were fascinating. Appreciated the stories and info surrounding f the areas that Ian shared. Can't think of anything more they could have done to make our trip better...perfect. Ian left us with a really cool Nalgene souvenir. Thanks so much guys!

I made a reservation just few days before my trip. I was looking for everywhere to getting to the wave ( coyote buttes north) and find this company. They have best deal for single traveler! ( most of place they charge for 2). If you are single traveler and looking for the Wave or other, you should call them. They will find best tour for you. My plan was The Wave tour, yes it's hard to get in, and they had conditional tour. I couldn't win the lottery for The wave, but I got permit for South coyote butte! Actually, they went to office to get permit for me. That was so great ! They are professional and knowledgeable guides, Robert and Mr.K ( sorry can't remember his name), because of them I feel safe, comfortable and just enjoyed be in the nature. Thank you so much. I was very happy. I joined South coyote buttes tour ( Cottonwood Cove ). They provide Lunch, snacks, I didn't have to carry! It was my first time to join the Dreamland Safari Tours, I had great experience with them( from phone call to tour), I highly recommend. I'm already thinking about next trip/ next tour with them. Definitely I'll join their tour again !

My dad and I went on two tours with Dreamland, and they were both truly phenomenal. The staff here are amazing and all so interesting (my dad and I had the pleasure of getting Natalie on the South Coyote Buttes tour and Mike for the White Pocket Tour). Any questions you have are happily answered by the staff, and they really do a lot for you to try to give you the best experience possible. They also give great photo recommendations and good tips for angling your camera for pictures to make your friends jealous! We actually wanted to go to the Wave, and the staff were kind enough to attempt the lottery for us both times we tried. They do this on the condition that if we don't win a lottery ticket, we will book a different tour with Dreamland. Unfortunately, my dad and I are losers and did not win the Wave lottery either day, but we won the South Coyote Buttes lottery the first day (Dreamland also stood in for us for this lottery), and also did a White Pocket tour with them the next day. Either of these tours alone would have been incredible, but getting to do both were the highlight of my trip. I just wish I didn't go here on the first two days of the trip because everything after this was hard to measure up! Also...there were approximate FOUR other people each of these destinations. There is hardly anyone else out there to be ruining your photos! Each day started with the tour guide picking us up from our hotel (very convenient). We picked up the rest of our group (each day there were 4 people total and our one tour guide). We drove about 2-3 hours to get to the destination, but there's a great break spot to use the restroom and, funny enough, buy some cookies on the way to South Coyote Buttes and White Pocket. I highly recommend you get some! Both South Coyote Buttes and White Pocket are very remote, and it takes a skilled and confident driver and navigator to traverse the deep sand, rocky roads, and unlabeled roads to get to these natural wonders. The lunch they provide was somehow probably the best turkey sandwich I had ever eaten, and the guides brought plenty of water (still bring plenty of your own water), salty snacks, and electrolyte powder for us because we were going during a heat wave. There is truly no way for me to describe how amazing the experience was, and I do not think I would've gotten the same experience with another tour company. They are amazing people doing amazing things.

Me, my husband, and 14 year old son booked the Peekaboo slot canyon and White Wave tour. Our friends came along after they cancelled their antelope canyon kayaking trip on Lake Powell. This was our only tour that was not cancelled during our trip due to weather and we were so excited. It was March, spring break, and we were not expecting the snow and cold weather. I guess that is what I get for being a born and raised Floridian. We stayed in Page, Arizona, and MAKE SURE YOU PAY ATTENTION TO THE TIME ZONE CHANGE, if coming from there! We had to leave a full hour earlier due to the hour travel time + time change (so 2 hours before our tour!). Loved the drive there and when we got there everyone was so nice and welcoming. Our friends were able to make last minute reservations to come with us so that made things even better. Our guide, Baylie, was so very nice and made our entire experience amazing. She was an excellent driver and took us up to white wave first. The weather made the trail there a bit tricky, but she was a champ! We met some other trail explorers up on the mountain in Jeep's and ATVs and they all knew each other and helped each other- which was so nice to see. Even with other people up there, we basically had the place to ourselves. The snow made the rocks slick but fun! It is not a difficult hike but I did scoot down some rocks on my butt to avoid slipping and falling! We then rode down to the slot canyon and there was one other vehicle down there. We saw one group coming in while we were leaving! The slot canyon was beautiful and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Baylie took photos of us and also showed us some fossils and took us to the end of the slot canyon. It was a flat and easy walk. We were not in any shape to be doing long hikes due to recently having Covid, so I booked this tour knowing it would not be too strenuous. We did well and had no issues so if anyone in your party has difficulty hiking, then Peekaboo Slot Canyon is perfect. White Wave requires some uphill walking, but it is a short distance and can be done slowly. The walk up to the Wave rock portion was a bit scary for me due to the snow/slippery surface, but I did it. Know that if you book that part too, get up there, and don't want to walk up the rocks, it's okay! It is still beautiful! Baylie supplied water and some snacks for us too. We saw some deer while driving to/from our destination too! Baylie is a rockstar guide and if you get her, you are lucky! Thank you so much to Dreamland for making our trip to Kanab, Utah, a memorable one!

We had a wonderful time on our 2-hour, private slot canyon tour of Peekaboo Slot Canyon. Our guide was also the owner (Sunny) and she had a great personal story and knew a TON about the area. We talked about history, geology, and lots of other things. Our children (12, 10, and 7) loved climbing and learning. At the end, we even had some extra time and she showed a couple of other things in the area. NOTE: Do NOT hike back on your own. Also, do NOT NOT NOT drive back in on your own. Both are incredibly difficult and it's worth paying to have someone drive you back.

We had an amazing time at White Pocket. This area is incredibly remote and hard to get to unless you have the right vehicle to get through deep sand and big rocks. We wouldn't have been able to go without this company!! Ian was our guide and he was incredibly skilled at the tough terrain driving and showing us all of White Pocket. If you are staying somewhere other than Kanab, they will figure out a hood meeting spot so you don't have to drive out of your way to meet up with your guide. The details of where to meet was impeccable. They even supplied maps to help you find your way as cell service can be spotty. They also provide lunch, waters and snacks. We have two kids and we were able to take breaks when we needed it. We all loved this tour so much and I can't say enough great things about Ian!!!

Had some relatives come over from California and decided to take a quick day trip to see some Slot Canyons. Out of the several companies that offered a tour for Peekaboo Slot Canyon I chose Dreamland Safari Tour. All the information that you would need or ask is readily available on their website. Called them towards the end of the day but still accommodated us (for a future tour). Very nice customer service and explained to us everything. The actual tour was great. We had Robert as our tour guide. He was a really great guide. He gave us a quick rundown or a brief history of the area. Pointed out great points of interest and kept our tour very interesting and entertaining. Will be looking forward to a different tour with them in the near future!

I just spent five days with Dreamland's owner, Sunny, backpacking the Paria River. It's February...conditions were amazing considering the time of year, but still daunting and it was not an easy hike (frozen boots every morning!)! This is not a "normal" Dreamland offering; it was a small, all women's hardcore adventure coordinated with AWE. What an incredible, EPIC experience! Sunny is so experienced, and such a fun, intriguing, wonderful person. I had a heavy pack, and when I thought my shoulders were going to die, that was right when she'd say "ten minutes to packs off break!" Her intuition was spot on, and another guest (who became a friend of mine) agrees fully. Her sense of adventure is possibly unmatched. She is genuine, kind, professional. I greatly enjoyed spending those days in her company, and exploring every inch of that "trail." I have recommended Dreamland to many friends and family members throughout the years, and all have been satisfied. I'm not a typical tour type of person, but when this Paria opportunity popped up...it was right up my alley, and I hope I can participate in similar adventures in the future. Also, two of Dreamland's other guides, Maddi and Andrea, were along for the hike. They weren't guiding, Sunny was, but it was obvious that both women are well versed in the outdoors and are probably amazing guides also. Nicholas picked us up, and he too is an asset to their company (I think that was his name? Hope so!). You are missing out if you don't book with Dreamland, for sure. :) I cannot recommend this company, these people, highly enough.

Had I come on my own I wouldn't have known so many amazing things about this other worldly place. I met Steve in Kanab at the Coral Cliffs Tours office. We drove in a 4x4 company vehicle. He told me so much about all the history of each area we came across before we even got to White Pocket. I never felt unsafe as he was very professional in his handling in the navigation of the uneven, deep sand dirt road. We spent 3-4 hours traversing the various areas and hills of white pocket while he explained how they came about, the various colors and some great scientific mystery about them. Such a good tour and a heck of a lot more learned than had I just come here to snap some photos. 6-7 hours for $350.00 is a steal for the amount of time and schooling I got and I didn't have to drive. They even provided water! Worth every cent! I highly recommend this tour. Ask for Steve. Excellent guide!

Some advice: 1. bring more alcohol-it was hot in August, probably 100, we are not big drinkers but 3-4 cold beers a day would sure have been nice, we ran out on day 6 2. wear light colored clothes if the weather is going to be warm 3. bring a walking stick, very helpful on the hikes scrambling over boulders and rocks 4. bring more alcohol 5. a waterproof day pack to have some gear readily accessible on the raft would have been nice 6. Have a set of river shoes, and a set of hiking shoes for shore excursions. My river shoes were great on wet rocks in the river, but tenuous at best when hiking 7. bring more alcohol 8. I balked at the sarong idea and regretted it, sarong would have been great to keep cool on the raft and to provide additional sun protection 9. Gel or spray on deodorant would have been nice, I brought body wash but it did not really cut it. 10. Consider going in May-mid July time frame when river is running clear. Once monsoon season starts in Arizona the river runs silty. Still a great trip. GCE is one of the few companies that provides cots and sleeping pads and sleeping bags as part of the experience, other companies might charge extra.
