From the get go there was no party host (staff) to help, affiliated with the location. No one to help the party host do a proper set up, no one to help serve and no one to help clean. We had the guests carrying tables and chairs, setting up, serving and cleaning, etc. The parents are not allowed to enter the gym to see their children during the party and or take proper pictures, only at the every end(although we were the only party) and were asked to look through the window, however most of the time our children were in an area which could not be seen. The coaches were young kids who unfortunately didn't have the best of attitudes. The event consisted of 1 hour play and 30 minutes to eat and serve the main food, drinks and dessert and loot bags and clean up However they don't take into consideration the number of guests (16 kids)and only provided 1 table where in Fact we barely squeezed everyone inn when we got the 2nd table together and a 3rd table to place all the food and cutlery. After their 1 hour in the gym all the kids had to go wash up and change back into their street clothes, socks and shoes, mind you - only 1 bathroom with only 1 sink is available in each change room, so that definitely took into our party time! As we were serving the cake in racing mode, the kids who were working their had approached the host on multiple occasions and began to rush her. Seeing as though we were all trying to help and rush, the serving, the eating, and kicking everyone out when we barely had a chance to hand out the loot bags! We had a few words with them explaining this is not enough time and we're doing our best to manage! No one is sitting down and resting- we were all hustling to get the children fed and it would be nice if the employees were there to help! (They claimed they did help - which in fact no one was seen there except for the end when they were trying to get everyone to leave!) Also there was no party or anyone else after us! I can't make a statement on the school itself, but the party itself was terribly unorganized and rushed for the poor host! In the end of the party they gave out coupons to promote their birthday party packages and discounts/ for families who attended and to return- NO ONE was interested. For obvious reasons. We all felt terribly bad for the host as she felt stressed and rushed the whole entire time. The parents who remained at the party mentioned they have seen this happen at another event, and everyone tried to help as much as possible. But a birthday should not be this stressful for the host and rushed with no help from the even on site (especially when you pay money to ENJOY a celebration ) - staff should be more involved and helpful! As most birthdays include a party host and helpers! The facility also smells terrible and we don't feel it is hygienic due to the high level of body odours. We do not recommend this place for a birthday party what so ever. The management should be aware, and more involved and hopefully make changes if they'd like to succeed with parties.

He has such bad attitude and the biggest ego ever. He believes he's better than everyone else just because he dabbled a little bit in pro gymnastics. He is not a good coach whatsoever. Jesse did not make me and my son feel welcome. As a paying customer this is disgraceful. I hope he gets a reality check. Defiantly avoid this place, especially Jesse.

They ask that you book a time slot for your entry time but you can stay as long as you like! There are: - 4 different short 15 min 4D (you get wet!) movies included with admission that run every 15-20 mins. - 2 rides - Merlins Apprentice and Blast Trolls (very cool wherein a cart moves you through a series of missions where you use a laser gun to shoot at targets). -a small, dark play structure (where kids are encouraged to keep your shoes on?). Could be brighter and bigger. -Many lego build opportunities! Build your own race car and test them on various tracks. A small play area with a slide and large soft legos for toddlers. - food for purchase -a lego store at the exit -and so much more!

The Legoland starts with a room with a few machines detailing how Lego pieces are made, a bit advanced for younger kids but interesting. The first area is then a shooting game ride which last about 5 min. It's short enough to keep the line moving and keep kids attention. Then you enter mini land which is quite impressive with regards to details. Not all the displays were working but overall fun to see. The main area has several sections. There's a 4d cinema that has shows every 30 min with 4 rotating shows. Prepare to get spray with water in the shoes. There's 2 play buildings with slides and 1 smaller one for younger kids. There's 4 building stations with mock earthquake stations, a big mega blocks play area, a few smaller LEGO stations. They have master created classes every hour. There's one more ride that goes in circles. There is a cafeteria with marked up standard food. They do serve Starbucks coffee. A note you can't bring any outside food in. If your kid is old enough, there's lots to do for them and at the cost of 40$ for 1 adult and 1 kid, it's alright. I wouldn't recommend it for young kids as there are many activities they won't be able to do.

I've been to the Friday night drop in ($17, from 9pm - 1am) a few times now and actually quite liked it as compared to the other indoor volleyball courts in Toronto. HUGE area with super cool post industrial/factory "decor" from the previous operation. A little challenging to get up there if you don't have a car, walking up a dark street from the bus stop..is not for the faint of heart. Getting home from there at night via TTC is another challenge. Best advice: carpool/ taxi, or go for their Sunday (DAY ITME) drop-ins Liked that it's not too cold inside since it wouldn't be nice to freeze the moment you stopped playing/ waiting for the next game. It's usually not too busy when I was there, so it's awesome not to be sitting around and wait. I find that people that play there are friendlier as well. Good mix of people playing 2's, 4's and 6's. Not too hard to find a partner/team if you go alone. Here's how it works when I was there, Winner stay, loser out. You find a partner/team and go to the court you want to play in, call the next game and play the winner. If there's a lineup, then usually peeps would agree on maximum 3 wins per team consecutively. Sometimes there's a flipping score broad laying around, it will be great if you can ask someone along the side to keep score. If not, just keep score and call out every time one serve. Yes, yes, it's just a game, why take it so seriously? Well, nothing is more annoying for people who are called the next game just to found out that NOBODY were keeping score. There are lots of space and showers in the washroom. Go through a maze and then you will find the ladies washroom. A little sign/direction where the washroom is will be much appreciated for the first timers. Beach Blast also offers leagues, clinics and tournaments of which I have never been, but heard good things about. If it's not for the location, I most likely will sign up for more activities at Beach Blast.

Beach Blast is worth a shot if you're looking to get your beach volleyball fix…read more Pros: Lots of courts (including outdoor) Cons: Poor ventilation (leads to very hot temperatures inside) I came here for a tournament on a Monday night. First thing I noticed as soon as I walked in was how hot and humid it was. This places doesn't have very good ventilation at all. There were 16 teams at this tournament so there were a lot of bodies inside which made it worse. It was a hot day temperature wise outside but it was like heaven compared to inside the venue. They need to do something about that. Other than the heat problem, Beach Blast is otherwise not a bad place to play. There are a good number of courts available. They even have some courts dedicated to beach dodge ball. Outside, there are another set of courts available (why weren't we playing there?) as well. There's a little bar at the front that serves cold drinks. I was not able to located a water fountain of any sort so bring your own water unless you're willing to pay for it. Something to note, if you come in the evening, it's very dark when you l;eave as the lighting in the area is not good at all. It's located in an industrial area so plan accordingly, specially if you don't drive. All in all, Beach Blast is pretty much like all the other indoor volleyball courts I've been to. It's not going to wow you at any point but you'll have a great time nonetheless.

I will provide a couple of examples, one being around reservations and second around availability. First and foremost, this camp books up quickly and I typically register my child in February. I really appreciate the fact that they not only provided door to door transportation but the lunch meals as well. Make for a stress less day. Prior to start of camp, we had problems with our computer and for reasons not mentioned, limited access from work. As I couldn't complete the online form for the transportation, I called the camp office and the girl that I spoke with went above and beyond (she inputted the information provided to her via email) to help me get the forms in and transportation went off without a hitch. Another interaction occurred on August 8, when I called the camp office after hours to determine if there was any additional availability the month of August and had a return call by 9:30 a.m. on August 9th with the information. This has been one of my child's favorite camps and has a very positive experience with the camp and activities.
