She also could tell I needed to have further treatment in the problematic areas. She was very sweet with a great personality! Parking is very easy during the weekday so that was an added bonus! Instead of accepting it, Nancy became visibly upset and began demanding more money, creating a very uncomfortable and unprofessional scene. My family member tried to calmly explain her reasoning, but Nancy continued to insist, and the situation escalated to the point where additional money was given just to diffuse the confrontation. Tipping should always be based on the quality of service and given voluntarily. It should never be demanded or coerced. That kind of behavior is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the business as a whole. I'm sharing this not to attack, but to highlight an experience that needs attention. No customer should feel pressured or uncomfortable when leaving a business.

He gifted it back to us, but when we went to use it, they wouldn't allow it because it had recently expired. Under California law, Civil Code Section 1749.5, it is illegal not to honor gift certificates, and illegal to sell gift certificates with an expiration date. This was incredibly poor business practice, and it saddened me that these people are that ignorant of the law or corrupt. I would not patronize this place ever again and encourage everyone to find another place to get a massage.
