The bunk bad is unique in that it only has 2 legs on front side and is screwed to studs on the wall on the opposite side. This design utilizes lesser space in this room. I gave him a photo from an online add. He sketched the bed frame, build it, and installed it a week later. I, then hired him to frame and install 2 heavy doors from HD. He had to frame an opening that was to wide for my barn door. I had a barn door install to isolate the living room from the rest of the house for a business space. Richard and his crew also installed a new exterior glass front door to allow more natural light to enter my living room. I loved the results! Friendly, yes, but quality of work is a no. Communication also a zero. My husbands been doing the remodel on our home and needed a hand to get things done quicker and made a deal that we'd pay per hour. The water filtration system install never got finished and what was completed all LEAKED and had to be REPLACED. So much money wasted! We also were promised he and his team to complete our master shower and instead of calling saying he cannot make it he ghosted us for two days. Beyond unprofessional; at least shoot over a text and everything would've been fine. While doing our master shower he laid concrete before doing the water barrier- perhaps he doesn't know what he's doing? Sloppy work that cost us so much extra money and time & things he had done had to be re-done. The one positive is he did some dry wall work that came out good and we didn't have to re-do. Perhaps only hire for dry wall? I do not recommend. Do NOT hire this guy. Literally contact me if you need work done on anything at your home because we have a guy that is great, will also drive to you, reasonable price, communicative and quality work, everything that the owner was not.

They showed up Saturday morning as promised and called when they were on their way, took some measurements and ran to Home Depot or Lowe's to pick up materials after assessing what needed to be done. they also caulked all the work they did as well as some other areas that they noticed in need of caulk. I'm not an expert but I thought the work was professionally done and that the communication and follow through were great. I would definitely hire them again and enjoyed meeting them.

This is a load-bearing structural component, so it should not be failing this quickly under normal conditions. When I contacted them, they acknowledged the issue and offered to redo the labor at no charge. However, they expected me to pay for the replacement material--even though it appears to be the same type of material that already failed. On top of that, the price they quoted for the material was significantly higher than what I found independently. I appreciate that they offered free labor, but I don't think it's reasonable to charge a customer for materials when the original installation did not hold up, especially for something structural. I also have concerns about using the same material again without addressing why it failed in the first place. At this point, I've chosen to go with a different contractor because I no longer have confidence in the materials or the solution being offered.
