It still didn't work. They told me the key was no longer usable and I would have to buy a new fob at a price of $287. I said that's too much. I went to American lock and Key and the gentleman there was very knowledgeable of what was going on he took the fob apart and he noticed that there was the chip was missing. He asked where I dropped the key and I told on the floor at home. He suggested I go back home and look for the missing part. Sure enough there it was on floor, very small and hard to see.
