Was referred to DriMaxx after calling All Hours Plumbing for a busted pipe. They came out and took an image of the damage. Alton was very professional and friendly and did not try to sell me on anything that I didn't need. He told me to just point a fan at the wall and call them back if there is any discoloration or smell. I have a home warranty with AHS and they were coming to fix a leak from my toilet upstairs through a whole downstairs in front of a cabinet. He brought the sister company DryMax in which I did not ask for. I had a little hole did he said that's a positive for mold and I was going to get all new cabinets to file a claim. I found a claim and I thought it didn't make sense so I had so many come in that same day they found no mold. They were trying to come in and pull out all my cabinets before I had a claim adjuster come to the house. I would have been responsible for paying them $3,800 and getting all new cabinets having no kitchen it would have been a nightmare. That's why they only have 1.8 Stars very shady. I could read everything they were going to do but the contract was in such small print they were supposed to send me an email of another one so that probably said I was responsible if the claim adjuster didn't approve it which he went up cuz it would have been gone. They are connected to All pro plumbing that used to be 24 hours plumbing. They got $300 out of me saying I had a broken flank which I found out would have been covered with American Home shield and he turned me around to sign for 300 when the guy probably put Rusty nails up there so the mo gadget would run positive. Drimax is lucky that it didn't cost me $15 and a nightmare cuz then they would have had a nightmare just cuz I'm an older senior don't mean I'm just going to lay down and cry oh no. Very disappointed in this company!! They don't contact you when they are in the wrong, they did a horrible job installing laminate floors, the tile work for the bathroom walls are crooked and not evenly spaced, they chipped our bathtub then decided to cover it with paint also the tiles lining the bathtub is sharp and not safe I have babies that could get seriously injured from this. The job is not finished and they will not finish it even when we did not sign paper work stating job is finished. I have multiple pictures of this work we will have to hire another company to fix!!! read more

After starting on our project and assuring us throughout the sales pitch they would take care of our project beginning to end our rebuild was abandoned with zero communication. Really, other than the eager sales pitch and first day on the job, communication was lacking throughout. Ended up having our contractor complete the rebuild. Would not recommend. read more

We recently had flooding in our kitchen and garage that resulted in damage to our floors. We had a great experience with DriMaxx. The process was lengthy, but that was expected due to amount of work involved and going through home owners insurance. Everyone that I worked with from DriMaxx (Alton, Megan, Adam, Luke and Mike) let me know what to expect from the dry out to the rebuild. Mike just finished the rebuild and the floors look so much better than they ever did before the flooding. He was very professional, always on time and put in long hours to get the rebuild completed. He paid attention to details and made sure everything was perfect. If we ever have damage to our home again we will without a doubt use DriMaxx again! read more

I'm surprised by some of the comments I've read regarding Dri Maxx. I'm very happy with the team and their work. So impressed by their work that we increased our work order to other parts of the house as well. Eric and his rebuild crew did not disappoint. The rebuild consisted of piping, tiling, flooring drywalling, carpentry work, etc. Luke and Adam were always quick to respond to questions if needed. They did a great job! The rebuild looks fantastic. Looks like a new and different house. I would recommend these guys to anyone. read more

I will not recommend this company to anyone. My home was left without use to my master bed or bath for over 6 months while they attempted to get $15k from my insurance company when every other company that came in to audit the work said it was less than a $5k job. Unfortunately, my last review prompted them to send their attorney after me, so I will make this review simple; do not work with anyone that requires you to sign a contract. Through my warranty, all hours emergency plumbing came out to replace a leaking disposal. This company gave my information to another company, Drimaxx who called me the day before my appointment to offer a mold inspection. He came out, used a FLIR cam, told me I have mold under my vinyl flooring, under the sink, and the wall behind the sink. The guy had alcohol on his breath, no ID, no uniform, no ID on his trunk. Said if I went through him, I basically would have all my cabinets and counters replaced. When I asked for it in writing, he balked, stepped around it for 5 minutes. Kicked his ass out, and googled the guy. As bad as this place. Insurance scammer. I reported this to my warranty company and agreed its a scam. Avoid this company. read more

Drimaxx is unprofessional and dishonest. They will tell you they have changed management and their quality of service has improved but don't be fooled. In my dealings with Drimaxx they never provided a written estimate nor did they provide a plan to resolve my issue. However, Drimaxx was able to generate an invoice and submit to my insurance company for services that were never rendered. Specifically, Drimaxx told me it was imperative they place their equipment in my home to dry out one cabinet. However, within the week I unplugged the equipment and called the PM and told him to pick up his equipment because it was blowing fuses in my home. It took them weeks to pick it up. Later I discovered Drimaxx billed my insurance company directly for services including the equipment I requested they remove. To this day I can't tell you what they billed my insurance company for because I was never sent a copy of the invoice. In my opinion, this is insurance fraud. Drimaxx submitted an invoice to my insurance company for $4k+. The actual bill to resolve my problem was less than $1k. Stay away from Drimaxx!! read more

My home warranty sent All hours plumbing llc who recommended Drimaxx. A Drimaxx rep came out, taking pictures and pulled a sales move versus assisting. My damages were ceiling stains (water spots), which I believed came from my master bathroom shower. However my insurance company sent out a leak detection company and their findings was totally different from what the Drimaxx rep stated. The Drimaxx guy set up the machines in my house the same night they came out(looking back on it) I believe it was to start running up a bill before insurance could get involved. The Drimaxx rep insinuated my leak could be huge and I could have(deadly) mold etc, he sniffed out my gullible and vulnerable state and went to work on starting my claim. My issues are they did not keep in contact with me as promised and explained. Secondly, they left a dehumidifier machine(s) in my home for 8 days for a valve leak that was actually a hvac/condensation leak according to the leak detection company. Each day Drimaxx came out they stated "there's still water in your walls" and "we need to leave the machine another day so it can dry." After a few days of no update, I contacted the Drimaxx rep who I initially met, who then stated I needed to contact the front office. After contacting the front office, she apologized for not contacting me and keeping me up to date only for them to repeat that behavior and only contacting me when my insurance company cut the check for their bill! I am disappointed because I truly believed in what Drimaxx told me, they scared me into believing that I was at the beginning stage of major damage and made living in my home very uncomfortable with the machine placement and not being able to shower in my bathroom. I am so thankful this is over! I do not recommend this company nor All hours plumbing because the only thing they did for me was be dishonest and create a bill. Lesson learned! read more

I honestly do not know what to say but whoever is reading this do not Hire them at all they will rip you off I had nothing but bad luck with them they lie and they tell you stories that isn't true I had a second opinion on my kitchen and it was nothing what they said it was they told me was going to cost me $50,000 to replace my kitchen with 5.000 and there was not that much damage to it I can't repeat this enough do not call them do not hire them run the other way if anybody needs more information I will be glad to show you pictures read more

Very disappointed in Drimaxx. They were quick to come out, great. They were quick to rip out our bathroom and dry it all out, awesome. But after at least 4 no show appointments to come back out and rebuild and a month with a destroyed bathroom we gave up. They couldn't ever give us a day that they could actually rebuild. Our customer signed a contract for the repairs due to being mislead that these people were sent out by the insurance company. Have tried calling to ask for the owner Matthew Byatt to assist with the lack of response from his team and was told that he was unreachable and could not even leave a return call message. i will never ever, ever use drimaxx again!! i had a leak from my garbage disposal my home warranty insurance refered a gentlemen out to replace it very nice guy. i was asked if alton could come out and make sure there was no mold in the affected area and that process went well. then the last to show was the rebuild department this is when luje gets involved he was ao until i mentioned to him that i wanted to get other estimates from other contractors to make sure that im getting what's best for my home, ,so after contacting him and leaving numerous of messages i hear from him once all i wanted was to know how much he was charging to do the job i didn't here anything from him until i found out that he had submitted a release form to my insurance company for drimaxx to no one do the project of putting my kitchen,and family room back together because he assumed that i wanted monies from them not once did i say that to him,or give him that impression. if my insurance adjuster had not informed me of the letter he/ they faxed to him ,i wouldn't have know that i was released from them. i was still wauting on them to perform the job once my insurance company had approved it. i contacted his boss jamie,several of times,and left messages she never called me back! the customer service i received from this company is extremely awful! horable, no communication, false accusations, he/ they will release you from a project without you knowing!! beware! they just want to take from your insurance company!! customers should not be treated this way if the company didn't want to do the project they could have been professional and said so, and i could have found someone else to do the job!!!!! i dodged a huge bullet!!! thank god!!!!!!!!! read more

I agree with Toni. I wouldn't recommend anybody use them as they have you assign benefits of your home owners insurance contract and then bill high fees. They charged over 5k for less than 72 hours on job (yes they were there on a Friday evening) and second company was there longer and had to pull-up wood floors and charged 1,400. The company does an sufficient job cleaning up water damage, but they definitely are no good for restoration and they somewhat legally lure you into signing a contract in an emergency situation for them to perform the complete clean up, mold mitigation and restoration right up front during your emergency by them making you sign a contract for them to get started with water mitigation. My home was also left without use to my master bed or bath for over 5 months while they attempted to get $20k from my insurance company when every other company that came in to audit the work said it was a $5k job. I also wouldn't recommend anybody use them as they have you assign benefits of your home owners insurance contract and then bill high fees. Keep in mind that all of the events in this story happened while I was deployed with the United States Navy and my wife had to deal with this as well as I did from my deployed locations. Other than the original contract issues, we then had to wait almost two months from the water and mold mitigation to start repairs because DriMaxx would not turn in the required updated work estimates to our insurance company. After several phone calls were made to the site manager and restoration manager work was finally to begin and only take a maximum of a week. Again, my wife took off work and the workers did not show up the Monday they were supposed to start repairing all of the structures they demolished to dry out wall interiors and repair leaking plumbing. The workers did not show up when the project manager said they would be there after my spouse took off work. The two workers were tasked with doing three different jobs simultaneously, each almost an hour a part, and the days that the workers did work, they only worked a few hours leaving messes. The workers working only short durations resulted in tiles sticking out further than other tiles, tile joints not lining up, sheetrock repairs being very noticeable, trim not lining up, messes left in traffic areas, messes left in work areas. My wife asked the project manager and the workers to put down protective barriers in traffic areas to prevent our other floors from being damaged and from getting dirty, but the workers never complied with the request. The project manager would come and check progress, but never point out things wrong nor make his two laborers fix things that my wife pointed out, chocking it up to those are acceptable mistakes. There were numerous phone calls made between my wife and myself and the restoration manager and the project manager, but the company was still on their own schedule and the restoration/rebuild drug on for three weeks, the restoration division manager finally came to the house after the job was supposed to be complete, my wife pointed out all of the tiles that stuck out further than other tiles, the thick and thin grout joints, how the back wall and two side walls tile did not match the front walls tile, how the master bedroom carpet they used was lower grade than what we originally had, how the baseboard was not straight because it had been improperly spliced, how the sheetrock wall fill in repairs were clearly visible from the entrance door to the bedroom due to improper sheetrock finishing, how the paint in the bathroom did not match the original paint, how silicon sealant was sticking above glass seals all around shower surround... and the restoration division manager stated these are acceptable discrepancies and that DriMaxx was finished with the project and would be expecting payment from the insurance company. At this time my wife told the restoration/rebuild division manager that was also a discrepancy because the adjuster from our insurance company had come with the DriMaxx bill breakdown and there were numerous charges on the bill for things that had not been done. She informed the restoration/rebuild manager for DriMaxx of the incorrect charges that she pointed out to the adjuster and went over them with the rebuild manager as well, but the bill really did not change. Two days ago we received an email from an associate at DriMaxx in collections that stated they were putting a lien on our house until the insurance company settled with them. The company takes on way too much work, they have very poor customer service in the restoration/rebuild segment of their company, they have laborers who don't take pride in their work either because they are being pulled in 100 different directions or they just don't care because your house is just another house they need to throw some sheetrock and tile up in and move on. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AND ONLY USE WHO YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY RECOMMENDS. This was not a recommended company by our insurance company nor should they be by any insurance company for their contractual issues.
