I've always requested creased sleaves and light starch! Here is the issue, almost every shirt was creased only on one sleeve and not the other, and those varied in quality. A couple shirts with nothing and I do not believe any were even lightly starched. Oh, and here is the kicker, look at your receipt carefully. "There is a Env. Fee" of $1.60 (?). btw; this has happened before, however just not to this extent! I always try and keep my money locally, but just not here anymore!

It wasn't grease, it was a drop of food. This last time we used them, my husband's suit looked like it hadn't really been cleaned, and his white shirt was yellowed. The staff is really friendly, and they send out most of their items. The prices are very reasonable. We have heard from others their clothes come back with spots and stains. If it was more of an isolated experience I would go back, but now that we have noticed a few issues ourselves, we will be trying another cleaner.

Never have I went to a dry cleaning place and can't get same day pick up as long as I take it in before 9. Here it takes 2 days or more for pick up. When they give you a ticket that says when you should pick up, always call ahead because that's not the actual day it's ready. But even if you called ahead and they tell you tomorrow afternoon, it's still not ready. So point blank your clothes aren't ready when they said it will be. On top of that they make so many excuses and they don't care or are apologetic for the inconvenience. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE. Drive the extra miles somewhere else for better dry cleaning service.

Just within the last few years, my husband and I have both spent thousands of dollars on having our clothes pressed. We trusted Texas Laundry with our pieces for work, funerals, weddings, date nights and other special occasions. Now, we're on the hunt for a new dry cleaner. The attention to detail was thrown out the door within the last year. Inside my husband's latest pickup was a pair of Ralph Lauren Polo pants with new holes on the back of the leg. Customer service and basic courtesy high-tailed it, as well. There's a woman working the front counter and drive-thru, who has one of the worst attitudes I've ever encountered in my entire life. Everything is a bother to her... whether it's sprinkling and she has to come out and deliver your clothes or walk to the cash register to scan your credit card. The only great thing to come out of all this is that I no longer have to drive 30 minutes out of my way to drop off & pick up our clothes.

There were no issues, I was only considering the driving distance; 20 minutes to Sherman vs. 5 minutes to Bonham. However, after doing business locally for 3-4 years and the quality of service dropping severely (which is a whole other story that probably should be told sometime), I made the decision to go back to Star Cleaners in Sherman. They are now under new ownership, but seem to still offer the same great, in-house service as before. After being back for a few weeks, I am very impressed with the quality of their work and professionalism. They are very adept at removing stains and pressing garments the way you want them done. Also, while dry cleaning is expensive, in general, Star Cleaners is competitive and offers discounts on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I recommend them highly.
