Always positive even if my weight is up that week. I did start using GLP-1 Zepbound shots awhile back as my weight loss plateaued and menopause hit. My insurance covers it - though I did have to try Ozempic first. Ozempic never did much for me so Jumpstart submitted a prior authorization for Zepbound and it was approved eventually. I visit with the BHRT staff once a quarter I think. They always want to know how I am doing with menopause and any symptoms I may be having. I do blood work twice a year so they can look at all my hormone numbers and all the regular blood tests they look at. My insurance does cover part of the Jumpstart costs so its definitely beneficial to look into that.

Megan, his scheduling assistant, was able to schedule a surgery just nine days from then. The surgery was done on October 2nd at an outpatient surgery center in Fremont. I took an Uber there by myself, and they called my wife to come pick me up; my wife didn't have to wait there. When I woke up after the surgery, my bellybutton was an innie again. There was some pain for about a week, and I took about 7 days off of work. No problems since then.

"Because of my past procedures" After getting the results back he informed me that I did not have a hernia and that the cause most likely is from scar tissue. Repeated attempts to rectify in the years afterward were not effective, and my quality of life was severely affected. Dr. Nguyen performed robotic-assisted surgery to address the situation, and while the repairs were extremely extensive, incisions were tiny and the healing time was brief. Overall, a life-changing experience, and a very empathetic, caring, and highly experienced surgeon.
