The staff exhibited a shocking lack of empathy, unprofessional behavior, and deliberate deception, resulting in the medical neglect of my 93-year-old mother. My mother was very dehydrated, and I chose this clinic to possibly help keep her out of the hospital for dehydration. Prior to our arrival, I spent an hour online completing their extensive intake forms, locating her medications, and providing her identification. She was even completely screened and cleared over the phone by one of their nurses. We drove 25 minutes to get to the clinic. However, upon arrival, we were forced to drive around the block multiple times because there was no clear street signage for the business. The clinic is hidden inside a sports club, and the only indicator is a very small sign on the window that is impossible to see from the road. Because we lost time searching for their hidden location, we arrived wo minutes late. Upon arrival, the front desk clerk and onsite nurse, Dakota, and Karla, flatly refused to treat my mother. They stated they could not take her because the nurse needed to go to lunch on time. I begged them to help my 93-year-old mother. I even offered to have them administer a smaller fluid volume so the nurse could still leave for lunch on time. They completely refused, prioritizing a lunch break over the urgent wellness of a dehydrated elderly patient. The clinic was entirely empty at the time. Furthermore, when I asked for the owner or manager's phone number to report this, the staff handed me a card and claimed it was a direct number. When I called it right in front of them, the phone rang directly to the front desk where they were standing. They deliberately lied to prevent me from reaching management. Turning away a vulnerable 93-year-old patient over a two-minute delay--especially when their own poor signage caused the delay--is a violation of basic human decency. Dakota and Karla's behavior was completely unacceptable.
