It was awhile back when I had my tattoo done by Freddie, who no longer works there, but it was the best experience I've had at a tattoo shop and I've been to many. I hate to say it, but the majority of tattoo artists I've come across have huge egos and expect respect and recognition. I got to talking to one woman at a different shop about it and she flat out told me tattoo artists are basically "rockstars and can do whatever they want". Nonetheless, I had a sleeve done on my left upper arm and Freddie did a fantastic job bringing my ideas into one cohesive image. He was extremely considerate and asked me to let him know when I wanted to take a break. Like I said it was a big piece that had to be split into two days, but Freddie had no problem with me taking breaks for as long as I needed. The piece came out beautiful and I haven't been to a different shop or artist ever since. I am being genuine when I say that the owner and all of the staff at Fallen Owl are very down to earth and willing to work with their clients to make sure you end up with a piece of art that you will love the rest of your life. The staff is great at taking your idea and giving feedback on what will look best while also respectfully letting you know if something won't look good or isn't a good idea. Freddie now has his own shop, so that would probably be the first place I'd go to get more work done, but if I had to choose a different shop it would definitely be Fallen Owl. I highly recommend this shop to anyone who wants an awesome piece that they will never regret.

She was super nice and friendly, showed me her line work as I was interested in getting an American Traditional rose in color to be similar to the one I have in black and grey on my right leg. Jodie took her time to make sure all the shading and coloring was filled in right. She also changed up the leaves she had originally on her line drawing of the rose. He explained to us in detail how he could make our idea come to life, also a price range. He was very personable and welcoming. We booked him in advance for a deposit fee. The day of our tattoos, he remembered us right away, and was able to give us both custom tattoos within the aforementioned price range. Benny was very accommodating, extremely professional, and we are both so pleased to have the tattoos we wanted. I will absolutely recommend him and this shop, and I will go back for any future work.
