I paid about $200 for nipple piercings at this studio and initially loved how they looked. I trusted the piercer's expertise and followed proper aftercare. After moving, I went to another reputable piercer for a downsize and was told both piercings were placed too deep -- through the areola instead of the nipple base -- and that they would never heal properly. I was strongly advised to remove them. I'm very disappointed, especially because if my anatomy wasn't suitable for correct placement, that should have been communicated before piercing. read more

I went to this shop to have my Jewelry removed for surgery. I thought this would be a fairly easy service , but I was wrong. The guy that removed my jewelry was fairly rough but I assumed it was because it was the end of the day and maybe he was tired. I called and explained the situation to the manager and they apologized and we left it at that. Fast forward about two years I had yet another surgery but this I was able to remove my jewelry myself with no problems but was unable to put it back due to the small ball and the area where it is located (my ear, daith) I had it out for about a week and I was worried that it would close. I placed the earring in and it was good (I've had the piercing for over 10 years. So it was completely healed). I was short on time and needed to have my jewelry put in before I went back to work because my work hours don't allow me to get to the shops during their business hours. Against my better judgement I went back to this shop because of convenience. I walked in picked out new jewelry and waited, soon as I realized it was the same guy I got nervous but figured what's the worst that could happen. Well ! Again he was SUPER rough and it felt like he was pulling my piercing towards him. It felt like he was being rough on purpose. He wasn't friendly at all. I thought it was gonna start bleeding. Fast forward I get home my ear is really, really sore almost worse than the initial piercing. It's been 3 weeks and it still really hurts! I'm gonna try to go let another shop check because I can't even move the jewelry without pain. I promise I will NEVER EVER patronize this business again! If I could do less than 1 star I would! BUT, we were up-charged after the tattoo even though we agreed upon a price (which was way too much anyways but we were on vacation so why not?) the shop manager is kind of a jerk and seems to take advantage of out of towners. Nostril piercing review I normally don't write reviews on yelp but this experience was bad enough that it's worth saying something to warn others. I'm gonna attempt to keep it short but do NOT get a piercing here. The piercers rush you, it feels like you're just making a pit stop at a mechanic rather than getting any type of body modification. 0 attentiveness, compassion, or care. Any time I would come in with a concern they either brushed it off, gave conflicting advice, or just ignored me all together. They don't clearly explain anything about the piercing or process, they're incredibly rough, they don't have proper sanitary tools, they use CHEAP 16g externally threaded surgical steel jewelry for everything and don't carry different sizes or styles. I got both nostrils pierced here and one was pierced nearly HORIZONTAL in my face and the other got infected after 2 months due to the terrible quality jewelry they use. Of course bumps happen with nostril piercings but the issues I'm currently dealing with were due to nothing other than carelessness and cheapness. I had to go somewhere else to get new jewelry and my left side redone. If you're looking to get a piercing in Denver please avoid this unprofessional establishment, go somewhere like Iris or Sol Tribe instead. (Unrelated but I noticed they up-charge the living hell for tattoos. The work they do here is double what a similar tattoo would cost at any other shop) read more

My original communications were all via text. I was told that we would have mock ups by the 20th to ensure smooth appts on the 24th. My daughter asked to change her design on the 18th and they said she could but a mock up could not be provided. I thought there was still plenty of time between when we asked for the change and the actual appt but went with it. I asked if I would still get a mock up for mine. She said she would ask. I did not hear back and no mock up's were received for either. There were no "know before you go" type communications provided such as, don't drink alcohol/coffee, plan to eat first so your blood sugar doesn't go low, etc. what to expect. I know some of it is common sense, but my one and only tattoo was 21 years ago (on a walk in whim) and it was my daughters first. It would have been helpful to not have to google do's/font's. My daughter and I had an appt at 12:30. We arrived 15m early to fill out any paperwork and provide documentation since she is 17. We were pleasantly greeted right away when we got there. Paperwork was a breeze and documentation was much simpler than expected since our last names matched on IDs. We waited for a while due to printers not working properly - understandable that things happen like that sometimes. When justin brought over the prints, he had not seen our requested change or even the original. Just had a butterfly for her and a lotus for me. He easily adapted and got what we wanted. A little after 2 it was finally time. My daughter went first and I was a little nervous because I was told Justin was an apprentice and his hands were shaking. There was no need - Justin did great! He was very patient and explained. He took his time with placement (moved mine a couple times to make sure it was straight), adjusted a line on my daughters to make sure it was inline, etc. the tattoos turned out amazing! He explained aftercare and what to expect. I elected to stand and watch as my daughter got her tattoo. Several people stopped by to ask if I wanted a stool. The environment was very welcoming. Ken (Sig) even stopped by for a few words and we now follow him as well on instagram. I went to pay and the system only showed I paid a $100 deposit. After proving I paid $200 it was easily fixed. I also purchased the Saniderm and tattoo goo as recommended by Justin. The lovely lady at the desk also gave my daughter a tshirt as the tattoo was for her birthday. I would recommend the shop and had a good experience. Just a few minor tweaks could be made. read more

Never had a tattoo experience this awful. I booked an appointment in advance with info on what I wanted, put down a deposit and didn't even get a confirmation or anything back, even after specifically requesting. I walk in the day of my appointment and there was no stencils or thought put in. I was shuffled between several different people until eventually was told Brody would do it. There was quite literally 30-60 seconds between when I saw his first (and only) stencil and when he started tattooing it on my body. I told him what I wanted to change on the original stencil and he brushed me off and tattooed it anyway. All in all, it took about 10 minutes. He seemed rushed and like he could not care less. As soon as I walked out the door I burst into tears. I've never had an artist so blatantly not listen to me and not care about what I want. I feel violated and disrespected. Now I have to live with this forever and try to save the $1000+ needed for laser removal. read more

Got my first tattoo here yesterday and my girlfriend added to her collection as well. Very friendly staff and a very clean shop. Even though we were walking we were seen right away, filled out our forms, and seen by our artist Kyle. Kyle did a fantastic job. Since it was my first tattoo I didn't really know what to expect but my girlfriend mentioned that he had one of the softest and smoothest hands she's experienced when getting tattooed. Here's a side by side of what I got and what I wanted... I I just got back home and got another set of eyes to check my tattoo out since the placement of my tattoo makes it hard for me to really see how the tattoo came out. Now I wouldn't be too upset because the detail is pretty good, but the damn spider isn't goin straight down like I needed it to and it's smaller than I wanted it. You'd think after paying $389, thats including the 15% tip and them charging me for the derma skin I'd get exactly what I wanted for a small tattoo like this. Like damn! I was in the chair for less than an Hr. I just came from San Diego where I pay $350 an hr, but the work was waaayy more than this. Unbelievable. On the bright side of things. Costumer service was on point, the vibe and shop itself was very nice and well kept. I was hoping to come back for my second tattoo on the other side of my neck, but I'm gonna take my business elsewhere. read more

Stopped in with a friend to get piercings on vacation. When we called to make an appointment they had us come right in. My friend got a single nostril piercing and I got a double helix on my right ear. They got us signed in and took us both back together within 10-15 mins. My friend went first since she gets dizzy and wanted time to recover. Hers went quick and easy. I wanted a double helix so Frank took the time to place them and let me decide. I had him move them a bit higher and we talk about how and where jewelry will land once it's replaced after healing. Both holes were done and over quickly, smooth process. My friend ended up almost passing out and got dizzy/sweaty and Frank took good care of her. Got her a bottle of water and candy and made sure she was back to normal before he let us go.
