I came back to acupuncture after having a miscarriage to heal and hopefully get pregnant again in February of 2025. Christina talked me through everything - supplements, acupuncture cadence and benefits of cupping and infared sauna. I took the supplements as directed and came in 8x a month, with occasional adjustments to my membership. I will never forget joining in a sound bath at Vitality Wellness in the first month and laying underneath the wall of babies Christina helped bring to this world. I prayed I would have a little one of my own to join the wall. By June of 2025 I was pregnant! And came in regularly every month to be supported by acupuncture and cupping. I was a high risk pregnancy due to preexisting conditions but my little girl and I were completely healthy throughout the entire process. She was welcomed into the world in February of 2026 - exactly 1 year after I started my journey again back at Vitality Wellness. Postpartum I have felt amazing and continue to see Christina. I too had similar thoughts when I first walked into Elaine's office as it is probably the polar opposite of walking into a PT office at say NU Hospital. I also waited a bit longer than I had imagined as Elaine was finishing up with another patient. However, minor grievances aside, I must say that Elaine is by far the best and most thorough doctor I have ever seen. She is also HIGHLY intelligent and EXTREMELY precise when it comes to her diagnosis. I may have lucked out being the last patient of the day but she spent no less than 90 minutes examining and treating me. 90 MINUTES!!! A typical visit with an MD lasts 20 minutes, and that's if you're lucky. Chiros can be even worse as I'm sure many of you know. Notice how the last reviewer said it took 3 hours for her exam... well, even with 2 other patients, that's still unheard of as I'm sure she was just as thorough with her. Elaine is a true holistic practitioner. She practices muscle testing, traction, acupuncture, hypnosis, nutrition, and the list goes on... Believe you me, she will not let you out of her office until she is able to treat you successfully. If you can get past some small gripes (mainly her unorthodox and slightly cluttered office) you will be handsomely rewarded with good and honest treatment. And isn't that the name of the game anyway? Horrible horrible horrible…read more My partner went to see her. Elaine laughed at my partner when they disclosed that they are trans. She told my partner that all of their health issues are due to the fact that they are trans and have been on hormones, despite the fact that their medical problems have existed long before they started hormones. She forced us to make two appointments so she could bill our insurance twice, so my partner did not even get an adjustment. Despite this, she still managed to grope my partner's butt without consent.
