I have been seeing Christina over the years for different ailments and always loved my experience. But this past 1.5 years of consistent acupuncture has been an incredible experience for me and the ultimate gift at the end of the process - my little girl! I am so very pleased to have found Christina at Eastern Vitality. I had pain in my shoulder and after trying heat, massage, exercise, and over the counter products, I wanted to try to find relief via acupuncture. Feeling much better! Wonderful!! The times we are in have caused added stresses in our life. With all that i also have a husband doing chemo for cancer. I was on edge could not sleep, the anxiety level was so high. I had friends tell me to call my doctor get some valium. I just did not want to take another pill. I have been a patient of Christina at Eastern Vitality many times and the relief i received was incredible. I saw she was opening up again due to she is an essential business. OH WOW i am so glad she was. I am feeling better. My high anxiety level has gone down. I am sleeping better. All the Crazy this world has brought on is still there but i am handling it must better. I was in a bad shape about one month ago. I had a severe neck and shoulder pain and had a hard time doing simple things like putting shirt on. I got two massages which didn't really help. My pain was so severe that I had to do something. I decided to try acupuncture (never had it before.) Now one month later (after 5-6 sessions later), my neck and shoulder pain is very minimal (I don't even think about it). I feel great! The side benefit I didn't expect is that I have so much energy ! I don't remember the last time I had this much energy. I just cannot believe it. My husband cannot believe it either. Christina is wonderful! I truly appreciate her. It is easy to book appointment on line. The place is clean and relaxing. The staff members are very nice too. I went to see her twice a week for first two weeks then once a week now. I am not someone who posts a lot of reviews, I have to feel the product or service changed my life. In this case, it has. I have a very stressful job and personal life, as everyone does. I was not able to get my health on track with western medicine and decided it was time to go the eastern route. My dog had kidney disease and lived 1.5 additional years due to his alternative treatment. He would receive acupuncture and he was able to eat and walk again. I always joked I would do it for myself one day. So glad I chose Eastern Vitality. Christina is really passionate about her work and her practice. I have walked in a complete stress ball and left with a different mindset. Christina and all her staff members take the time to listen and are very compassionate overall. I will start by saying Christina and Kelly were wonderful. I unfortunately will not be returning as a client because of my experience tonight of which my entire relaxation experience of my entire session was disrupted by the loud behaviors (including slamming doors) of the office manager directly outside of my room. Highly Recommend! I was diagnosed with terminal cancer and had been receiving chemo therapy for about six months. Unfortunately one of the side effects of chemo is neuropathy (loss of feeling) in the hands and feet. I was unable to hold a pen or button a shirt, and had literally started to fall over as I could not feel my feet. Conventional medications also did not help the problem. A friend recommended Eastern Vitality and Christina Guthrie. I was initially very skeptical but figured I would give it a try. When I arrived at Eastern Vitality I was impressed with how professional and clean the office was. Ms. Guthrie took a detailed medical history and actually gave me the time to explain all my symptoms and medical problems ( and there are plenty). She then took the time to explain her course of treatment and also was honest and informed me that acupuncture may not work with the level of damage to my nerves. I appreciated that honesty as I have dealt with Doctors who can not be honest about a course of treatment. The first couple of sessions, I could not even feel the needles being placed in the hands and feet. After several more treatments I was able to feel the needles. I was able to laugh and say ouch at the same time. It meant the treatment was working. I now go about once a week, skipping the week I have chemo. The chemo sets me back a little but then the acupuncture allows the feeling to return. While it is not 100% in restoring all feeling, the acupuncture allows me to do simple things and avoid falling flat on my face. I would strongly recommend Eastern Vitality and Christina Guthrie. If you suffer from neuropathy from chemo, go sooner than later as everything including the nerve damage is cumulative. read more

I was told I would need both shoulder joints replaced because of arthritis. Cortisone injections and PT did not help, in fact PT made it worse. Wow. I went to see Christina on a friends recommendation and was totally skeptical. I have had an issue with my foot for 2 years. Spent tons of time on physical therapy, money on special shoes and orthotics and nothing worked. After about 5 sessions with Christina, my foot was like new!!! I have been going here for acupuncture twice a week for the last month and I am seeing a world of difference. I decided to give acupuncture a shot after a horrible string of migraines that would last for days that no medication seemed to help get rid of. My original consultation was was Christina and who was very patient with me, listened to all my concerns and answered all the questions I had since I was new to acupuncture. I won't lie, I was terrified my first visit, but Christina calmed me down and walked me through the whole process. It's been 4 weeks and I haven't had a single migraine, and I am the happiest I have been in months! I wish I could give Christina 6 STARS! The reason I began seeing Christina was for lower back / sciatic pain that on a scale of 1 - 10 was usually in the 6 to 7 range 100% of the time. I've now had a total of 5 visits and have notice that there are times that I have a ZERO pain or discomfort for long periods of time. I wasn't expecting to have such quick relief from the pain. Christina is very professional and takes a complete medical history prior to starting treatment. Christina is an absolute godsend! I started seeing her 5 months ago when I was in the last term of my pregnancy to help with general aches and pains. When I went past my due date, she treated me and 24 hours later I went into labor! A couple of months later, I was going downstairs carrying baby and misstepped injuring my back. I was hobbling around for a few days and anxious because I was returning to work 2 weeks later. I immediately booked with Christina and after one treatment, she got my back to loosen up and take the pain from an 8/10 to a 4/10. A few days later the pain was completely gone!
