Update on my previous comment: A Representative from Driving Force reached out to resolve this issue, which was truly unexpected and something I thought was very nice. I was promised a refund for the ticket given the grave miscommunication error on their end. In exchange I promised to update my comment and post on how they fairly amended the situation and their great partnership. WHAT A JOKE. They did not uphold their end at all, even after promising me this would happen. This further enraged me only further reinforced their disrespect of their customers. We have T-Mobile worldwide so we were able to call immediately upon getting out of Customs. They also operate under Fox Rent A Car. Phone receptionist will direct you to 'Rentals' line once, and point you to carport 22 to wait for shuttle and will not pick up again if you call back to ask for status updates. We didn't know the wait would be 30 mins (note that their speed limit is like 30mph, which would've put this in perspective). Would've been ok if we were given an estimate. And it's under Driving Force/nü rentals sign. No Fox signage anywhere. But upon arriving, the shuttle ride was fine (~20 mins ride). At the office, a little bit of a wait (even first in line), not much of a greeting, everyone seemed busy. But that's fine (NYC girl, doesn't bother me). No issues on pick up, except the $500CAD security deposit fee seemed high. But that was refunded upon return, so that was also fine. Our pickup receipt was time stamped at 2:30pm but it also said return would be at 1pm, which kinda robbed us of 1.5 hrs. But whatever in grand scheme of things. The car drove well. No balancing or oil change or engine light issues. Was fuel efficient. Wasn't forced to upgrade. Same dude checked our car back in and was efficient. Fine by me. We made sure to wipe down our car, inside and out, before returning so as not to test the limits of any extra charges, as I've technically never rented from Driving Force before (but plenty from Fox). Overall a good experience. Minor bumps will be overlooked as long as I don't see any miscellaneous charges in the future from them for this rental. read more

Met one of the vans near kindersley sk. Aug 10 2021 I knew whoever was driving was nuts when he tried passing me with 3 semis in on coming lane and a curve. He then passed me on double solid line averaging 120kmh at least. Within 2 minutes he was in passing lane and almost connecting with someone turning. I see your fleet doing that again I'll be sending dash cam footage to police. If he wants to die. Lots of other ways that doesn't involve taking someone with him. read more

1. Location- DISCLAIMER: This rental company is NOT located in the airport 2. Shuttle Bus- After waiting 30 minutes where it said "car rental shuttle" with no sight of a shuttle, we decided to call the company. The woman who answered the phone said that the shuttle should be arriving in ten minutes. After waiting for about 20 more mins, I see the shuttle bus passing us completely. We had to wave them down for them to slow down only for them to pull over at the end of the strip almost to the highway. When we walked in, it was FULL bus with only two seats left for my husband and I. A couple also informed us that the driver only stopped because they saw us and told him to stop and how the bus was waiting at another terminal for 20 mins waiting for us. Note: No information was given to me to wait where for the shuttle when spoken to the woman who picked up the phone. 3. Customer service- When we all arrived, a lot of us didn't get the car we reserved online. I reserved a Nissan Versa and others reserved compact cars as well. The staff informed us that they don't have anymore compact cars and have to give us a SUV, stating that it was a complete upgrade. There was a lot of yelling and no one was happy. My husband and I planned on driving a lot on this trip and knew we would have to dish out way more money for gas for the SUV than the Nissan Versa. But, it was the only vehicle available and didn't want to be shuttled back to the airport to look for another rental, so we just took it. I really wished I read the reviews before renting the car, but how could I? The company was stated as "Fox Car Rentals" when I booked it. It was not until I was standing outside the terminal waiting for the shuttle bus for 30 then I had decided to look them up and found out that they were under "Driving Force". read more

I'll start by saying I didn't end up buying from this branch of Driving Force, as we bought from another dealer closer to home after we moved to a new house. While we considered this branch for a second hand truck, we took a number of test drives with Dom, who helped us decide on a truck from a wide range of choices. We never felt like we were being shoe horned in any particular direction, as Dom was genuinely interested in us purchasing the vehicle that would be right for us and not just trying to get rid of a truck that had been on the lot for a while. This seems to be a rare trait amongst second hand vehicle dealers, other dealerships made us feel like we were just a number to them, not so with Dom, we felt our satisfaction mattered to him. The trucks we viewed were in fantastic condition, cleaned to a squeaky finish, both inside and out, even the engines looked new. There are some great deals to be had here, the vehicles have pretty low mileage and are very cheap for the condition they are presented in. When we consider another truck in the future, this branch of Driving Force will definitely be the first call we make. read more

They are NOT at the airport, they are 20 minutes away. What a scam. And their 'shuttle' for the airport took so long coming to me when I dropped off my car I had to take an Uber instead and it made me late for my check in for my flight. Atrocious. We landed at 12:18 pm to Calgray Airport. And as any other traveler in an unfamiliar airport, it takes time to work your way to baggage claim and then over to the car rental area. In addition, our cell phones are roaming internationally so it took several reboots and waiting for the connection to come up. We had asked a couple of airport workers of where Fox Car Rental is located. They wasn't sure and just pointed us to the other car rental areas. When our phones were finally up and working, we called the car rental company for assistance. The person who answered the phone told us where to go to wait for the shuttle. She asked for a name but did NOT log it into their computer system. The wait for the shuttle was roughly 20 minutes and then it's another 15-20 minutes to get to the site. When we arrived, we experienced unsatisfactory customer service. -They gave away our rental vehicle because we did not arrive promptly to their facility at 12:30 p.m. -They accused us of not calling them to inform them of our arrival. -When we said that we did call, they asked for a name of the person we spoke to. We failed to get a name but said it was a female representative. They responded, "As you can see, we have several ladies who work here so I don't know which one picked up the phone". ******************************************************* Hey, Fox Car Rental/Driving Force. Did it occur to you that there may be a delay in arrive time? Or if we may had issues with our phone service? Majority of your customers are visitors and have never been to the area. I'm sure you have dealt with customers who are travelling internationally? You also accused us of not calling when did and gave the driver's name. Do you need proof from our phone bill to show that the call was made? Your rental consultant failed to update it in the computer system. Michelle H., one of your rental consultants, was rude, unprofessional, and demeaning. You are in customer service, you do not say "You should have called. You should have read your contract. Since I didn't know you were coming, now I have to tell them to clean up a car for you". The attitude, facial expression, and body language that went with this was uncalled for. Please invest some time and money for her to get better customer service training with your company. Last, the rental car that was assigned to us had tire balance issues and the engine light came on the 2nd day. When driving at 100-120 km, the car shakes badly. We did call in to report this. Your company's response was that we can return the car for a refund because they do not have any other cars available to rent. We were not going to waste any more time at facility and so we had to tough it out during the entire trip. In the future, please be very leery of renting from this company, Fox Car Rental/Driving Force. It is at an off-site location from the airport. It is not worth it to save a few bucks to waste time from your trip. Please rent a vehicle with a company located at the airport. read more

We rented a Nissan Versa from Driving force and the people there were so nice and friendly. They picked us up at the airport and helped us pick a great little car for our visit and drive to Medicine Hat Alberta. The car was clean and new! The gps was excellent! When we returned the car they drove us back to our hotel .they made renting a car so easy. And best of all..... The price was soooo reasonable! About 1/3 of the cost if we would have rented from the other company's at the airport . We had a wonderful vacation in Alberta and Driving Force (Fox car rentals) were amazing. Beware!!! Not on airport location. Shuttle is irregular and phones are not answered to find shuttle location. Shuttle Driver looked really rough and the shuttle was full of smoke. Unreliable. read more

My husband and I rented a car in Calgary and it started off as a terrible experience the website we booked it on didn't give us nearly enough information about what we had to do when we got there. Eventually we called and they advised us of where to pick up the shuttle bus , and the driver Randy I believe was very sweet. I was not expecting much when I got there based on the experience was so far horrific. But the young lady that helped us went so above and beyond the call of duty with her customer service. Even though we weren't very pleasant with her at the beginning she was great none the less I think her name was Shyla, the customer service outweighs the lack of information. We will be returning for that customer service :) read more

Purchased a vehicle from Driving force and for peace of mind, took it in to a dealer for a good check up. Needed a wheel alignment and battery service. DF paid for wheel alignment, but refused battery service. REALLY? Visually I could see rust on the battery posts, so I believe the dealer . DF said they did a battery service and so would not pay for another. I guess both myself and the dealer are liars. A customer pays $26,000 for a vehicle and you tick them off over $75.00. I have to wonder what kindergarten kid is running this place! read more
