    Affordability: 5 Location: 5 Reservations: 5 Customer Service: 3 We rented a vehicle from enterprise during our vacation to Calgary last week. They're conveniently located at the international Airport, which was great for customers traveling with luggage. The staff that assisted us with the vehicle were very professional, but we were a little surprised that our vehicle had some damage upon our pickup. So of course we took photos and videos, so we won't have any issues upon us returning the vehicle in a few days. I've rented cars on multiple occasions during our travels, and this was the first time in the last 10yrs that I never received a receipt after I returned the vehicle. It's now been 10 days since we returned the vehicle on June 1st, and we are still waiting for our receipt to be emailed to us. Our overall experience was good, and we were eventually charged correctly based on our reservations. I'm not sure if this enterprise location is just super busy or if they're under staffed, but we've definitely had better customer service with other companies.

    We were profoundly disappointed in what truly appears to be an attempt to scam us. We rented a Chevy Malibu from Enterprise Calgary on July 20, 2024. We inspected the car and made note of two dents, one on the door and one on the trunk. We took photos, and the technician made a note on his form. We returned the car on August 2. The technician there used some kind of shield to inspect the car and we pointed out the previous dents. He nodded his head and put the shield away. We asked for a receipt and he offered to email it to us, but we've had trouble getting receipts emailed so we asked for a print copy, which he then provided. He made no further mention of any "damage." A few hours later, after we were already on the plane, we got a garbled voicemail we could not fully understand, indicating something about damage. Then we got an email from the "Branch Manager." The email stated: Hello Ralph, I am sending this email with regards to the rental you dropped off today. Upon inspection we noticed that there was a dent on the trunk of the rental. According to our damage evaluator, which I have attached a photo of, this will be considered damage. I was wondering how you were planning on covering this damage. Are you going to file a claim with your insurance or pay out of pocket? Attached are picture of the damage. If you have any question, please reply to this email. Thank you, Ernest Offei-Annor Branch Manager The photos he sent were glare-y and we were unable to identify any dents on the trunk at all, even the one we already knew about. We wondered why we had an email asking how we were going to pay for the "damage" when there was no mention of how much the repairs would cost. In researching other reviews, I see many reports complaining of the same thing: damage claims hours and sometimes weeks AFTER they have left the rental center. We emailed him back and copied review@em.com and included the photos we took of the car when we picked it up. We have not heard back from them. Laurie P

    Do not rent a vehicle from these people. My mid-sized SUV ended up being a little high mileage Mitsubishi RVR that was clearly ready to be retired. As an added bonus, Enterprise tried to charge me for "damage" on the top of the vehicle that was not visible upon inspection and was not caused by me. If you absolutely MUST rent from this (there is no other rental vehicle available in the entire province), ask to be shown your vehicle before leaving the office area. Then, take detailed video of the entire vehicle, including the top, under the hood, and the underside. These people will try to scam you and hit you with unnecessary and inappropriate charges. I'm gobsmacked that what used to be a reputable company like Enterprise allows these scam artists to put the Enterprise name on their Calgary airport junkyard. I have rented countless vehicles from Enterprise over the last 30 years but will never rent from this company again.

    I rented a car in Orlando Florida. I used airmiles for the 9 days rental. I also had insurance…read morethrough my own insurance company. When I went to pick up the car I was convinced to get the $13/day toll package, as I was told I could potentially go through so many tolls in a day that I could be charged way more. I told the gentleman where I was planning to go, (Orlando and St. Augustine area) and he said for sure I needed it....actually I didn't. Waste of 160 CDN dollars (117 US). But ok, I didn't pay anything else as I had the airmiles perk. Returned car back to the airport. 3 weeks later, at the same time my credit card is charged, I received 2 letters. One says I've been charged $45.00 damage fee and $29.00 admin fee. $74.00 US, without explanation. When I call about this, they can't really even say what it was for. "Oh maybe it's a tire wear use fee"she says. Pardon? That's what the rental fee is, paying to "use" the car. After not being able to figure out why I was charged this she says she will send it to accounts to try to get a refund. I haven't received it yet. The other letter says it charged me $250.00 US (348 CDN) for cleaning for sand on the floor. The sand was from our shoes from walking around St. Augustine. There wasn't even any floor mats we could have shaken out and honestly, a 10 minute vacuum would have taken care of it, not worth 350.00!! I contested this charge, without getting anywhere. They sent photos that are of such poor quality, they are blurry and looks like the camera was moving so looks much worse than myself or the other 2 passengers remember. I wish I had my own photos, but I had no idea they would do this! If shoes are dusty how can you prevent stepping on the floor? And without mats to shake out, how can this be removed without a vacuum? I feel like because I didn't "pay" for the car with cash, they got their money another way. 450.00 CDN (350+100) dollars extra for sand!! (250US + 74US)Terrible. I will never rent with budget again . And I will make sure there are floor mats that I can shake out. Beware of this scam to get more money from the rental.

Jobo met us at our hotel at 8 o'clock sharp and from there we spent the entire day seeing the wonders of the nearby mountains. We saw more in one day than I could have managed in three days, all without being rushed at all. It pays to have someone who is intimately familiar with the area as your guide. Although the information on the signage was more than sufficient, Jobo provided additional color regarding each of the stops. Jobo was very friendly, courteous, and it was an absolute pleasure to be in his company. The vehicle was very clean, stocked with ample water, and very well-maintained. I highly recommend ABest Transport and Tour Services Inc, and their "rider driven" philosophy, which Jobo exemplified. The next time that we are on holiday in Calgary, we know who we will contact for a tour.
