We have rented a large unit at this facility for about two years. While the office is closed on Sundays, the facility guarantees access daily from 6 AM to 10 PM. As a business owner who relies on dependable access, I urge others to read on. We were returning equipment to our unit and picking up other items when the main door closed and automatically locked behind us. Our access code failed because this facility relies on WiFi-based security, which was down. After an hour of frustration--alongside five other tenants in the same predicament--we reached their telephone support team, only to find them just as helpless as we were. Their solution? "Come back tomorrow." This was not an option--our unit was wide open, and we had no idea if anyone else was inside or when (or if) their WiFi would resume to unlock the doors. Concerningly, another tenant present said the same thing had happened to him within the past month. This suggests an ongoing issue, not an isolated event. If you own a business and need reliable access to your storage unit, think carefully before choosing this facility. I requested a call from a responsible representative three times--the onsite staff are powerless to offer a solution, this review is my last resort. WiFi issues happen, but this facility has no backup solution. A simple on-call local locksmith, security company, or staff member could prevent such incidents. The lack of responsiveness we experienced has been disappointing.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with a moving company, and honestly, one of the worst…read moreservice experiences I have ever had. I am leaving this review to warn others. I have served in the military for over a decade and have been through several moves. The actions of these movers and the owner were very concerning and absolutely could cause damage to your furniture. 1. The owner told me they are taught to use moving blankets once the furniture is already inside the truck. That means your furniture is moved before being wrapped. This was the first time I had ever seen that. If you research proper moving techniques, furniture is typically wrapped before it is moved, not after. 2. Drawers were not secured with bands or wrapping before being moved. This was another first for me. Even when we hired two college kids in San Diego, they knew to secure drawers before moving furniture. 3. The ramp was not placed down from the box truck until 45 minutes after we arrived at the new location. Why? To move slower? Risk my furniture even more? I called the owner, Dereck, after I saw them further damage my liquor cabinet and nearly drop my TV. At that point, I was close to telling them all to leave. He did answer and came over to assess the damage, which I respected. Over the phone, he said the liquor cabinet might be repairable, but the hinge had punched through the door and ripped a hole in it. Once he arrived, it was 90% him talking and very little listening or acknowledgment. He gave a long chain of excuses and hinted that the liquor cabinet was low quality, then said it was "still usable." At that point, we had enough and told him that was a cop-out. He then stood up, shook hands, and walked out. Later, he called and offered 15% off, which was basically equal to the cost of the smoke breaks. The owner also kept emphasizing that this was a quick turn. I called on Monday for a Friday move, and Dereck came Thursday to assess what needed to be moved. He was patient and respectful during that visit, especially since I was in the middle of work. But if a company is going to do a subpar job because of a quick turn, then they should not offer it. Like I said before, I have never written a review before. My wife and I work our butts off, and anyone who lives in Key West knows the challenges and cost of living. If you value your furniture, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. If you do, watch them like a hawk, do not be complacent, and be as detailed as possible. All that said, the movers themselves were nice and respectful. If I had three of the supervisor, I would not be writing this review.
