I found Felicia through Groupon and was a little hesitant to book her initially because she seemed to be new in the lash game. None the less, I booked my appointment and she was able to squeeze me in at a convenient time that worked for me. She greeted me with a huge smile and immediately made me feel very comfortable & relaxed. She was so patient with me despite my eyes constantly fluttering! I was so embarrassed because i couldn't calm my eye lids down but she helped me relax and even offered me a glass of wine. She was still able to complete my full set within 1.5 hr. I will definitely come see her again! PS. I went for the volume lashes, which were still very natural and don't look over done. I am obsessed. This girl is amazing! First of all she knew my wedding was coming up and let me book an appointment today a day before thanksgiving. Due to her salon having a few issues she didn't cancel like some would instead she did my lashes at her house!! Which honestly is so comfortable. She had music a heater. She is so friendly, she charged my phone for me and was laughing with my mom. The biggest sweetheart! Now for the lashes! This was my first time and they are beautiful! Well beyond what I expected. I got a classic set even though with my Groupon she offered to do a volume set and still honor the Groupon. Owner said she would not match Groupons pricing. so if I did not go back to Groupon girl. it was gonna be more money with another tech or a take off. The Yelp reviews about Drop Dead Beauty definitely caught my attention and I sent a message about finding more information and questions I had. Felicia soon reached out to me and we were able to set an appointment. I got to my first appointment at Drop Dead Beauty and met Felicia. The place is super cute and well decorated, it made everything so friendly and welcoming! :)* Felicia mentioned to me about the test trial to see if your eyes may be sensitive or irritate to the lashes. I agreed with the test trial due to my sensitive eyes and I didn't want to pay for something that I will not enjoy it. The test trial is only a few lashes applied on that will inquire 24 hours. If nothing occurs, then you can set your next appointment for procedure. The test trial was really helpful; my eyes did get a little sensitive and made my eyes a little watery, but it was absolutely fine and my next appointment was scheduled! -- Yay, how exciting is that!? I met with Felicia and we discussed about the lashes. Being new and my first time, I explained to her that I didn't want it looking too natural and wanted a little more volume, but not too much that may not suit me well. She was patient with me, she explained and showed me pictures of the different volumes to see which I'm interested with. We were able to find the best and suitable volume that will fit me perfectly. I laid down as she prepped and worked on my lashes. It was relaxing listening to music and zoning out. It's was like getting a massage, but for your lashes! Hehe. She finished with the lashes and she handed me the mirror to show me the results; and I gotttaaaa tell ya... I love it! :)* Overall processed, my eyelashes are beyond amazing! Felicia did a wonderful work and it suits me well with the volume that was applied. Felicia made everything easygoing and friendly, she made me felt comfortable! She explained the process from start to finish; any questions/concerns and she'll answer. She doesn't bullsh*t with you, she'll give you her honest answers. Super disappointed in my lash service by Felicia. The only reason I put two stars is because she has a really cute salon and she was nice. So I have had lash extensions before, so I knew what to expect. Last year I got married and I got them done for my wedding by someone else, I was super happy with them and got 3 fills over their lifetime . I was expecting the same experience. I went on a tropical honeymoon with them and they lasted a good 2 weeks before falling out and looking like I needed a fill. With Felicia It was DAY 2 they started falling out, badly too. I got them done on a Monday and by Friday I desperately needed a fill. Which I told her I was bummed they fell out so fast and wanted them before a vacation I was going on. So she filled them on Friday (for free), I went on my vacation that Monday, and maybe by Wednesday they started falling out again and I ended up taking them all off by the Friday (cause they looked so bad.) So less then a week I had them after the fill. They came off so easy too, like she didn't even glue them on right. My real lashes were unharmed and barely came out with the extensions. Which makes me think she didn't glue them on good enough. My first experience with lashes was they didn't come off until your real lash naturally fell out. Not this time, they all came right off. She also used lashes that were 2 or 3 lashes on 1 real lash. So for every 1 of your lashes there were 2-3 fake lashes glued on. So It seemed more full at first but when they came off there were huge gaps. I got this deal off Groupon and was so disappointed I didn't even go back for the fill I already paid for, what's the point!? Definitely a waste of money and time! She was nice but I wouldn't go back to her for lashes. read more
