I called because the pills looked funny, they assured me it was fine. I pressed that I have a peanut allergy and they called me back later to say, sorry, they did give me the peanut version because they misunderstood the prescription from my doctor. I had to go back and exchange it--so glad I didn't take it! Since then I've had several experiences where they say my prescription will be ready the next day and it isn't actually ready when I come to pick it up several days later. I don't understand how this place stays in business, and I feel very anxious about all the medicine I get from them if they're this disorganized. Looking for another compounding pharmacy even if I have to go farther away for it.

I've never experienced an independent pharmacy that shuts the phones and locks the doors and won't open up even though they heard someone knocking 9 mins after closing time. This is a prime example of why big chain pharmacies are the way to go, and independent pharmacy's are a dying breed. The reason why Stella's pharmacy succeeded all those years was because they actually cared about the community and their customers. I guess cvs here i come

The second I walk up to the counter, no one in line, I stand for five minutes and wait for the one pharmacist to acknowledge my existence. When she finally does she yells across the room asking what I need, I explain that I'm picking up a prescription just sent in. She doesn't ask my name, but instead asks if I'm Sophia. No date of birth question either. She asks for my insurance card and I give it to her. The second she looks at she says it's "medical insurance" not "pharmaceutical" and asks FOUR times if I have any different card in an extremely rude tone. To which I respond, no and that I have always used this card and never had a problem. She rolls her eyes as if I am now inconveniencing her and then asks me what my past pharmacy phone number is which I don't know off the top of my head, so she makes me look it up. She spends ten minutes on the phone with a CVS that I don't pick up from anymore and then tells me that my SIGNA insurance has expired which is a provider i've never used. I asked how much the prescription would be without insurance and she wouldn't say and then started explaining to me what insurance is and what it does. I asked then after being completely fed up if she would transfer my prescription elsewhere for me and she said I can go to the next location and ask them to do it and she wouldn't. I am an extremely anxious person so going into pick up a prescription is already stressful enough. She was so extremely rude from the second she spoke to me. When I asked for her name she proudly stated it was Galina. I was so upset that I let an employee in the front of the store know how her attitude affected my experience (she was very understanding and I also understand it wasn't her problem to fix) but I was in tears by the time I walked away. Confrontation is not ever easy for me nor something I enjoy doing, I'm so disappointed!! Overall the store seems to have a great selection, but wow this pharmacist really has an issue with customer service.

I ended up buying just one because I was asked to do so by a friend. They did not scan in the items I wished to purchase and they did not provide a receipt. When I tried confronting them about the markup, they claimed that it was less than what the supplier charged. They added that no one forced me to buy anything and that this was how supply and demand worked. I had actually frequented this pharmacy a few times since it opened (even though there's a RiteAid half a block away) because I prefer to support local businesses. But from now on, I'm sticking to RiteAid.

They are also super helpful with suggestions for things you may want to consider when receiving medications from your doctor (I.e probiotics) Also, I've found even items I'd pick up when in Walgreens such as toothpaste or laundry detergent are significantly cheaper! As much of a mess the Walgreens is on Myrtle, I have no idea why anyone would not instead stop here for anything you may want from there.
