My schedule is flexible but still I have to wait 3.5 months for a massage opening with a female therapist. My neck is sore. I was told to call daily in hopes that someone would cancel. The majority of the times that I've called I've been met with an answering service. It took four calls on four different days, leaving messages with a human being before their manager, Gretchen, actually returned my call. After eventually returning my call, I informed her that my husband had purchased a gift card for me to use on a massage but am unable to use it within a reasonable time period at no fault of my own and had asked if I could return the gift card as I had the receipt. She informed me that gift cards are non-refundable. I asked what would happen if their facility had to make clients wait six months or longer at no fault of their own, and she smugly suggested that they could use it on product, oils, lotions, etc. as the gift cards are non-refundable. She also said the following to me, "We're not even pushing memberships anymore because we can't get them in for an appointment or accommodate them." Gretchen, if you can't get people in because you have so few therapists to get the job done, maybe you should tell people who are inquiring about a gift card for a MASSAGE that they may have to wait 4, 5, or 6 months down the road because you have so few therapists working and may not be able to accommodate them any sooner. That way the consumer is informed. It's also unprofessional to smugly tell people without an apology that they should try using it on product instead.

I specifically asked Amy to focus on my left shoulder and upper body. She got scared when I whinced as she moved my arm at one point. I expected a professional to understand and know what to do about loosening up the ligaments and tendons that would cause the tightness. Instead she wasted time on other areas and avoided the my shoulder all together. I workout quite a bit and I am used to having sore areas that need additional blood flow so having a good massage usually alleviates the tightness and soreness. After I questioned why she avoided my shoulder area she told I had to go see a doctor. It never "goes out" any more, but if I do have an issue, he is there to guide me to a speedy recovery. I like to do routine adjustments to keep everything in check, because as we know everything stems from the spine - on out, and because of that, a side bonus is - I rarely get sick, as in rsv, colds or flu, especially in the winter. Recently a ganglionic cyst appeared out of nowhere on the inside of my wrist. I was in for a routine adjustment and showed it to Dr. Murray. He said "I can help with that"! Who knew that, that is something a Chiropractor could treat. I was in quite a bit of pain, and after the first treatment went home with most of the pain gone, and the next day pain was totally gone.
