One person behind the desk had a mask and the other didn't. The two massage therapists I saw that afternoon (including mine) both had masks on. You sign in and complete documentation before going back. My massage therapist asked a couple of questions and covered some points on the paperwork which helped me understand their process better. I've been to quite a few places before, but this was pretty nice. Music not too loud, my therapist was not chatty (super appreciate), and it was a comfortable atmosphere. All in all, relaxing and therapeutic session. I look forward to going back! Prices seem a little high but I may look into the membership to make it more manageable.

I go to the same therapist every month, she is a pressure level 4, deepest possible. The only slightly negative thing I have to say is she is really popular and books up well over a month out now. They then moved her to West Allis, I would prefer they bring on more deep pressure trained therapists to provide more options. Both the Elm Grove and West Allis facilities are clean, well maintained, and a very peaceful and relaxing environment.

I'm not sure how she does it all herself, but I am so grateful she does. If you can't get in - I'm told that during the summers she has a station at the Waukesha farmers market.

I was looking forward to this because I haven't had a massage in over 2 years and was long overdue. I got to my appointment a few minutes early and was greeted by Amber who is the owner and was super friendly. She asked what I was looking for in my massage and informed her everywhere especially my left should area. I ruptured this muscle over 10 years ago and hasn't been the same so anyone who does my massages I give a heads up of the tightness in this area. The moment you walk into the room for your massage it was right away a very calming setting. The music, the lighting to the scented room was very chill. Amber informed me about the warming massage table which came in handy on cold days especially recently. I did request if it can be cooled a little because I was starting to get warm before the massage started lol. The headrest was super comfy compared to other ones I've came across and Amber put this scented oil on the cover and had you breath in and wish I asked what that scent was because it was sheer heaven! The body oil used smelled just as fabulous as the oil on the headrest. She did her magic from top to bottom. Because of the work she did on the shoulder area, she placed a hot towel across my shoulders & back and was great and soothing. After I turned to lay on my back, she placed this cloth with the same oil that was used for the head rest across my eyes and a hot towel under my neck that felt really good. Amber let you rest for about 5 minutes before getting dressed and offered a little goodie to take in the look like a hot beverage or a bottle water. I was SO relaxed that when I went on my phone to give her a tip for the great work she did, I couldn't find the app so she offered me to scan in a QR code lol. Which made me feel very uncomfortable.I proceeded to walk in and the lady said to me you have an appointment I said yes at 12 o'clock for a foot massage. She pointed to the sign and said massage or body massage. I said foot massage. She said $60 for 30 minutes which I felt was a little expensive. I was already feeling a little uneasy in the environment because being a older woman I've had my share of foot and body massage massages. This environment was not a typical massage place. I should've turned around because there was something wrong with the setting of this establishment. She proceeded to tell me I needed to pay $60 before the service was even completed. I responded with I have never paid before I receive the service before and she just proceeded to smirk at me. I(I agree I should've left), but I just felt like I made I didn't wanna break the appointment because with the up and up establishment that would've been very rude to me, but even though I felt very uneasy starting with the doorbell on the front of the building to get in. I gave her $60 in cash. She proceeded to count it, put it in her pocket and told me to go to the room which I have never laid on a bed for a foot massage. Any other foot massage I have ever had was over a foot bowl with warm water and oils to soften your feet. I just keep telling myself this place is not for a foot massage. I should've left!!! I Should've left!!! I walked into the room. There was no pillowcase on the pillow. She threw a hand towel over the top of a pillow. I could not relax. All I could hear was the clock that would tik tok to every squeeze and pull to my feet. There was no essentials aroma smells or soothing music nothing but dead silence with a clock that was ticking. She might of used one or two pumps for the whole foot massage of 30 minutes. She put a blanket on me which I have never experienced for a foot massage. She proceeded to massage my feet by pulling on my toes and pinching my feet and pounding on my calves. I heard the doorbell and then a gentleman walked in and the lady said do you have a appointment? He said no and then he said do you have availability for one hour massage and she said yes go lay down in the room. She never asked him to pay before the service. This place is sketchy stay away. Once she left the room I put my shoes and socks back on I wanted to know what she was using on my foot massage, and it was Sauve body lotion!! I SHOULD HAVE LEFT!! I wanted to ask for my money back, but I was in a situation that I shouldn't be in and this establishment wasn't for a foot massage!!! I didn't trust the environment.!!! It was the worst experience I've ever experienced in my lifetime !! Lessoned learned!!! I will never be back to Spa Massage THERAPY on 27th Street.
