I had a very late check-in. 1:30AM and there was someone avail. to ring me in and had very quick and smooth communication at the front desk. Parking for bigger trucks will be found around the side of the hotel. The room was on the 4th floor. Very clean and everything was in working order. No bugs or loud noises. Gym was clean but in high use. Pool was semi indoors, clean and had an open patio area. Breakfast was simple and not horrible. Not like the bigger hotels where they have made to order staffed stations. More like a step above the continental stuff. Hot eggs , breakfast meats, pancakes, oatmeal, teas and coffee, and juice concentrate drinks, as well as soda pop for those who don't drink coffee or tea. Service at the hotel was more than great. No problems all. It's not a huge resort or anything. It's in a mall parking lot area. The happy hour was not that good. Had hot dogs , chili , cheese , chips, salad, Mac n cheese and pulled pork. Wasn't impressed. I tried to jazz things up but I needed to get to sleep and leave very early so that was my dinner. But that's the reason I took a star off. I would stay here again.

I arrived fairly late on the day of check in, so I went straight to my room using the digital key…read more Man, did it stink! Whatever housekeeping used as an industrial strength deodorizer to mask whatever odor they were trying to cover up was worse than a room full of plus sized ladies marinating in cheap perfume. It appeared they had sprayed the bed with it but at worst case it could have been from the previous guest. No other rooms were available and it was too late to cancel so I toughed it out hoping not to get sick. In the morning, I spoke with the clerk at the front desk and asked that the room be redone without scented sheets and pillowcases The guy took all the info and I also messaged the day manager about it as well while I was working a convention. So, when I returned that evening I entered the room only to discover nothing had been done and it still reeked to high heaven. So I went to the desk and told Anne, the woman on duty about it and invited her to go down and have a sniff. She said she couldn't leave as she had no help, but did get to work right away contacting the manager and arranging an available room for me. She showed me that all the notes were right there and that the morning clerk had informed the manager who subsequently informed housekeeping which is where the ball was dropped. Anyway, I got into another room that did not stink thanks to Anne's patient and persistent efforts. She is a five-star employee, whoever ignored instructions to clean the room a one-star employee. Companies could use more employees like Anne and fewer of whoever the skiver is.

It was nice that the drink options included a mocktail so that everyone can be included. You get a salad, truffle fries, a drink, and a dessert...I honestly was not sure it would be enough food but surprisingly it filled me up! Half of my group was gluten free and they were given the option to sub out the chocolate cake for a gluten free dessert. Your meal comes with a card and on the back is an empowering quote, all of ours were different so we had fun going around the table and reading ours! We ended our night by going down to the speakeasy (check their social media for the code!) and I enjoyed a mocktail. The vibes downstairs are very cozy and give you a true speakeasy vibe. Overall the staff is very friendly and accommodating and the food and drinks were delicious. I love that depending on your mood you can have a different experience all in one place: rooftop, lounge, or speak easy!

Essentially it comes with one drink, Caesar salad, a dessert and one carb like truffle fries, which you can choose a couple different variations. We ended up ordering steak and the fish then appetizer of shrimp The shrimp was delicious and the sauce they had with the shrimp was even better We spent closer to $300 which was very pricey. We then went to their speakeasy and spent close to $100 for one drink and four shots which was super expensive. It is a beautiful building, but very pricey. Staff was very pleasant and the restaurant was very clean.

But it was late and I was so tired I couldn't change anything. I previously wanted to cancel and they told me no cancelations and it was at the very end of their listing. This price included the $50 pet fee but we were also required to put down an $100 deposit, making our total $311 just to book for the night. This price wouldn't be *awful* if the place/amenities matched the price, but unfortunately that's not the case. Stains in and around the bathroom sink, you can hear the people below/beside you talking, the door to the bathroom takes some serious muscle to shut, and their bed pillows are about half the size of a standard pillow. Pros: Beds are firm and somewhat comfortable. Front desk staff is incredibly personable and kind. They had available rooms when nobody else did. Cons: Not at all worth the price. If you're in a pickle and there is nowhere else to go, this place offers enough to confidently rest for a few hours - but at a steep price. Otherwise, book elsewhere.
