Dr. Pirozhnik is so kind and takes the time to listen to your concerns. My wait time is always short and she's always eager to talk about what is going on with my pregnancy and how I am feeling. She makes me feel very comfortable and I don't hesitate to recommend her to everyone I know. Pirozhnik is one of the best. Go to her. Not Druzak. I would give Pirozhnik 5 stars and Druzak 0. Druzak is the worst ob/gyn. Avoid at all costs. Pirozhnik performed my mother's hysterectomy and has the absolute best bedside manner. She was attentive and listens to your concerns. Druzak was the absolute worst. On my visit, I told her I wanted the pill rather the IUD and she seemed pissed off that I chose what I wanted. Unprofessional. Dr. Druzak is amazing!! She's very welcoming and is very patient. Her bedside are attentive and she listened to my concerns. I've been a patient of this office for 8 years. Dr. Druzak delivered my youngest and was very supportive and calm when the delivery wasn't going smooth and medical issues for myself and my son occurred. She has been my Dr. ever since and I highly recommend her and have to several of my friends that feel the same way about her!. Everyone in the office are very kind and welcoming!!! read more

I completely agree with Jenna, if I could not give any stars, I would. I saw Dr Druzak a few years ago and I can't imagine a more horrible experience than I was put through. I was hoping to see Dr Jensen, but that wasn't possible. I heard good things about her. But into Dr Druzak. She was a complete nightmare. I have never experienced such horrid bedside manor in my life. House is nicer than she is. I saw her a few times to get a few procedures done (LEEP and colposcopy). I was young and scared that I could possibly have cancer. Did she help ease my nerves? Not whatsoever. Her nurse didn't help either. She was just as rude as this woman. She NEVER listens to you and doesn't care what you have to say. She does not care if you're in pain or not, which I was. I went in for a check up and she wasn't even in the room for 2 minutes. She pretty much walked in, looked me up and down then left. I had questions that went unanswered. I had a terrible time dealing with the office manager too. Everyone there seems to be cold hearted. BECAUSE OF THIS WOMAN, I WAS RUSHED TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM AFTER HER CARE. It was an unnecessary visit to the ER because Dr Druzak failed to mention proper after care of my procedure. The nice Dr in the ER had to apologize on behalf of this medical office. I dont want to give the gory details of what happened because they are personal and somewhat embarrassing. I would NEVER recommend this office to anyone. I have a friend that see Badowski, and she's happy with him, but overall. This place is terrible. I won't be going back to Dr. Druzak! She was hurried in her exam and didn't answer all my questions. I was 1 of 2 patients in the whole office! She TOLD me what to do but didn't LISTEN to my concerns. She didn't explain what my issue was! She just told me how to fix it. WTF! Where did it come from? will it reoccur? how long will it take to go away?? I understand where "things" come from-I didn't need her to say, "honey it doesn't come from there!" She told me to get dressed and come out like normal, but, she was gone! I guess the appt was over!? There were a few papers at the receptionist desk, I asked the receptionist if they were for me. They were. I was supposed to know that!? Dr. Druzak walked passed me and dropped another form on the counter and walked away again. Apparently that was for me too. How rude! This used to be a good practice when they were with Dr Badowski and Dr Jensen but now it sucks. Dr Druzak is an incompetent doctor. She has no compassion for the customer or patients she sees. She is just looking for ways to bill the most to insurance for the patient visits. STAY AWAY from here. My wife went to her for annual Mammogram prescription, covered under her PPO insurance at 100%. She saw her for 2 min and billed the visit as "Diagonostic" for no reason. To our surprise now we have a bill of $800 from her office. We have already made more than 25 calls to insurance, Dr Druzak's office, collection folks but it has boiled down to Dr Druzak's office, that they should fix how they billed the visit. Now Dr Druzak's office staff (especially Deborah) is very very rude and incompassionate to patients. My wife requested Dr Druzak to fix the issue from her office but she did not care to hear about the problem....they want money not patients and the good will. Leeches! I was told not to call back. I am formally disputing it with all parties involved, will file a case with BBB, IL state for consumer cheating and will be alerting as many as I can via internet to STAY CLEAR OF THEM. read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Druzak for over 20 years. She delivered both of my girls, and I have nothing but absolute respect for her. She is kindhearted, funny, and genuinely concerned about her patients. She takes the time to listen to any concerns I have and works with me to find solutions. I would never go to another practice and am dreading the day that she retires. I also love her nurse, Lori and office staff, Maureen. If someone has a bad experience on a one-time visit, I don't think it is fair to assume the worst about a physician or practice. I think that my 20+ years of positive experiences trumps those who bash Dr. Druzak after one less than perfect meeting. read more

I was formally a patient of Dr Julie Jensen. Decided to try Dr Druzak since she 's in the same practice as my primary care physician. Big MISTAKE! I've had a uterine fibroid for years that I've known about and it does not give me any problems. Under Dr Jensen's care, we decided not to remove it since it wasn't causing any problems. In my first visit to Dr Druzak, she scheduled me for a uterine ultrasound... which I did. Once she got the results, she recommended that I have a hysterectomy. When I questioned why have surgery since I wasn't having pain or bleeding and was actually in peri-menopause. She commented that since I wasn't planning to have children we should remove it. Sorry... but I thought she got to practice in med school and during her residency... or was her suggested course of treatment about the money . Shame on you Dr Druzak! read more

I too, would give 0 stars. I was an ob patient there years ago. Druzak had the absolute WORST bedside manner I had ever encountered. Jensen was a partner at the time and she wasn't a whole lot better. But she was ok. Pirozhnik was friendly and kind. Badowski's bedside manner lacked a great deal as well. He was aggressive in his approach when delivering my second. I was induced and delivered in 6 hrs. Which was scary but quick. I appreciated the quick part. I think he must've had dinner plans bc it seemed like he really wanted to be somwhere else and talked over me most of the time. Dr.Druzak didn't listen to me about my own body. She told me I was wrong. She ended up giving my 3rd child his circumcision after she waltzed into the hospital room like she was doing me a favor. Well, she botched his circumcision!!!! Which caused many problems during his infancy. He's now 4 and we are faced with deciding on an elective surgery to fix his penis. Dr.Druzak is arrogant and to be frank- she just sucks!! The Now, over at Dr.Wright's Wright Center, the RN and staff are amazing. However, they don't see ob patients through to delivery. They pass you off around 26 weeks. So- that really stinks. Because they really make you feel valued in that office. They listen. We talk. We laugh. I love them! DuPage Med group ObGyn was ok. Staff was very friendly. It's just so impersonal there. There's like 6 Dr's there. They're all nice enough. But I don't think any of them ever knew my face. It was interesting delivering with a Dr I had never met before. So, if this review has left you more confused as to which ObGyn office to visit, I'm sorry! I'm looking for a new one too. But at least you know not to see Druzak!!! I'm leaning towards DuPage ObGyn again. I know what I'm getting there. At least I remember who they are! The front office staff makes a big difference and those girls were kind. I just gave birth to my first child and I will for sure NOT continue to go to this practice. Where do I start.......first of all, with this being my first pregnancy the Dr's did not ask me if I have any concerns or questions at my visits. Then when I was at 40wks and still no baby, Dr Badowski walked in the exam room and said "do you want to induce?" with no explanation as to what it entails, nothing!!!! Then when I came in at 41wks and still no baby, Pirozhnik scheduled an induction without letting me think about it or explaining it to me either. My husband had to call the office and cancel it bc they talked me into doing it. I finally went into labor 10 days after my due date and Dr Druzak was my delivery DR. She was not nice to any of the nurses in my room, which was rude!! I could obviously hear how she was talking down to them. So basically, if you want DR's that see patients quickly, show no concern and want to deliver babies on THEIR time and not when the baby is ready.......go ahead, this practice is for you. And I heard that a lot of Dr's schedule inductions during the wk so women dont deliver on the weekends and mess up their weekend .......unbelievable!!!!!!!!!! Also, Dr Badowski and Dr Jensen are no longer with the office, I wonder what happened?? The front office staff and medical assistants are very nice :) read more

I just want to tell everyone that be prepared to receive large bills and do not go if you do not have insurance. While scheduling exam I was told consultation will cost 100$. Doctor didn't say how much test will cost. After exam I paid $100 and also wasn't notified that I will receive the bill of $300. There are many offices who do pap for $150-$200 together with doctors consultation. I ended up paying $400 for this event..not cool.. read more

I have went to both Dr. Badowski and Dr. Pirozhnik and have had wonderful experiences. True, Dr. Pirozhnik was an hour plus late for my one of my appointments, but she had 3 unexpected deliveries that day and apologized saying, "Babies don't care if you have appointments scheduled." Still the doctor worked til 7:30 PM plus ensuring all of her patients were seen after her 3 deliveries. I had a menopausal issue that I started with Dr. Badowski but it didn't get totally cleared until I saw Dr. Pirozhnik after Dr. Badowski retired. I have BCBS PPO and all my expenses were covered for a $10 co pay. To top if off, Dr. Pirozhnik did not charge me for one follow up visit. I did not go to these doctors for a pregnancy, but I had some menopausal issues that were handled successfully very well and at very little cost to me. read more

This place is a joke. My wife went there for 2 visits and she was not a fan of the doctors she saw there so she is deciding to go to another practice. She tried to get her medical records for 2 appointments and they are charging us $33 for them. That is $15 per visit for the records. I would recommend to stay away from this place. Also the lady on the phone in medical records was very rude. read more

My complaint is related to the handling of my request for MY medical records. I was charged $39.58 for 13 pages of material, which is supposedly in alignment with the "Illinois Comptroller's Office Official Website". I was also asked to sign a form stating that another doctor had called me and asked me to cancel and appointment and schedule with her. Since this was patently untrue, i did not sign; but left with disgust. Another patient who perhaps does not read this form carefully may falsely incriminate another physician. I am shocked at this blatant lack of professionalism and I am pleased that I left the practice. read more

If I could give her no stars I would. Dr Druzak is by far the WORST doctor I have ever met in my life. She should not be a doctor so I will refer to her as Karen for the rest of my review. Lets start with the office there are three other doctors the ONLY "OK" doctor is Dr Badowski. The others are almost as bad as Karen. The office staff are HORRIBLE! no customer service skills at all Im suprised when I get a hello and they can actually find my file when I come in. You make an appointment and end up sitting there for 30 or more min. The nurses are "OK" but not very helpful. If you dont have a baby falling out of you then forget getting a phone call back if you have a question. Lets get back to Karen. She is by far the ruddest, cold hearted person I have ever met. I was having some bad symptoms for my birth control and she was on call I started asking her questions and she cut me offf and said she would not help me I would need to come into the office. I started to try to explain to her why I was concered and she cut me off again and said she would not help me. WHY ARE YOU ON CALL IF YOU DONT CARE TO HELP ANYONE?!?! She then tells me to make an appointment and before I can say anything she hangs up on me. What a B****! She is sooo mean to everyone that goes to see her my mom was pregnent and she had to see her one day because Dr B was not in. She said and I quote " Why would someone who is your age consider having a child (my mom was 43 at the time) you are putting yourself and your child at risk for your own pleasures". "Also you are overweight which is going to make your pregnancy difficult" "I think you should have considered the risks and not made such a selfish desicion. My mom was soooooo upset at this point she told her to get out of her room. Karen should not be a doctor part of being a doctor means caring about people and there well being. It means taking the time to answer questions they may have. She does none of this! She should not be a doctor she should not be allowed to do any kind of medical work on people. She is the definition of the typical "Naperville" snotty B*****. Do not go see Karen it is a waste of time and money and she will not help you just take your money! There really should be a negative star for this Dr. who clearly chose the wrong career path. She has no bedside manner, no compassion, no empathy, no expertise, and is about the most cold-hearted person I have ever met. Several years ago, I had laparoscopic surgery for an ovarian cyst by another Dr. in the practice. The Dr. checked on me after surgery and went out of town for the weekend. I ended up spending the night for observation because I was in a great deal of pain. I was no better in the morning, but they discharged me anyways saying that the pain was to be expected and was due to filling the abdomen with gas for the surgery. The pain got worse after I got home, but they told me it was normal so I just tried to rest. The next day I could hardly stand and had tremendous pain. My stomach looked very swollen so I called the Dr. on duty, which was Dr. Druzak, and she told me she couldn't do anything for me because she didn't do the surgery and that swelling and pain were normal. She barely gave me 30 seconds of her time, made no suggestions to try and help me and hung up. She made me feel like a big baby. I decided to take my pain meds and go to sleep. When I woke up, I was very weak and in pain and my stomach looked like I was 5 months pregnant. My mom and husband were very concerned and rushed me to the hospital. They took one look at me and everyone started running around, so I knew it wasn't good. I had SEPSIS AND HAD TO HAVE AN EMERGENCY HYSTERECTOMY!!! I spent 2 weeks in the ICU with multiple infections, blood transfusions, fevers, and unbelievable pain, all because Dr. Cruella Druzak couldn't be bothered with me. I know she didn't cause the infection and there is always that risk with surgery, but if she had listened to me and told me to go to the ER, I might not have gotten MULTIPLE infections. I was told that if I had gone to bed that night, I may not have survived. The real kicker is she checked on me at the hospital a few days after surgery with a smile on her face - I was too weak to talk, but the nurse could tell I was freaked out. I lost 22 lbs., was thrown into sudden menopause with severe hot flashes, and was too weak to walk more than 10 ft. It took 6 MONTHS before I regained my weight and my strength because of the toll the infections took on my body. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS HORRIBLE DOCTOR!!! read more

My primary care doctor referred me to Dr. Druzak in March 2016 after I presented with an OB issue and I needed further tests. I knew something was wrong, I just didn't know what. When I arrived for the appointment, I could hardly believe what was happening. I was put in a room, the Dr. came in, did an examination, said nothing the whole time except, "We need to change rooms." She got up and left. I got dressed, waited for a bit, and finally wandered into the exam hallway where I stood for about five minutes. Finally, Dr. Druzak saw me and pushed me into the next exam room over and shut the door. Her nurse came in, shoved a clip board in my face and said, "Sign this consent form." I started to cry and asked what is going on? No one has said one word to me and I need someone to talk to me." The nurse immediately apologized, but when Dr. Druzak came in the room and saw the nurse still sitting there, she dismissed her very curtly and I felt so sorry that I said, "Thank you for trying to help." From the nurse, I knew I was having some kind of biopsy. Through the procedure the Dr. never spoke to me, never explained anything, never told me what she was concerned about, nothing. She saw me crying and offered some basic platitude like, "Don't worry yet. It could be just a polyp." Absolutely nothing else. I texted my husband that I had the worst experience with this doctor and have never experienced anything like it before. Not just bad bedside manner, no bedside manner. At all. I went on line when I got home and saw all kinds of negative reviews for her and a rating of 1. I am shocked that my primary care doctor recommended me to her. Anyway, I was diagnosed with cervical cancer through Dr. Druzak's office and it is now about 45 days later and I am well into chemotherapy and radiation. The kicker is I received a voice mail yesterday from Dr. Druzak's office reminding me that I need to schedule my annual "well woman" visit. Are they kidding? If you need an OB, pick someone else. The odds they will be better than Dr. Druzak are very high. read more
