I decided to go here because of all of the good reviews and it was conveniently close by. All I can say is WOW. And that's not in a good way. Dropped off a down comforter to be dry cleaned and was told it would be ready about 5 days later after 4pm. A lady had helped me. I ended up coming by 8 days later on a Sat to pick it up. A gentleman was there, and my name was on a totally different comforter, and my comforter was nowhere to be found. I have yet to hear from them regarding a follow up. Came in here on a weekday and they weren't busy at all. I left about two pairs of uniforms and it was pretty cheap. Got done within a day or two. Really easy and simple to deal with. Just in and out. Owner claims "no chemicals used" after I said in my review that my clothes returned with a chemical smell, which makes no sense, as all dry cleaners use some sort of chemicals, unless you use water? Seems reluctant to specify the specific chemical they use and that's unfortunately skeptical like I thought initially. read more

Close and convient location. This place definitely caters to the business professional. They stay open later for the folks that commute back to the East bay. Service is prompt and punctual. Pricing is reasonable, but adds up for multiple garments that you bring. Then again I wait until I have substantial amount of garments that need dry cleaning. Absolutely love this place. It's near by for me to drop things off anytime, always courteous and they remember me even by my name when I come in. I love that. It's not cheap to get your clothes dry cleaned, but this place does such a great job that I don't even care, cause I know my dresses will always look amazing after I pick them up. In response: I should have been more specific when I wrote 'double creases.' There was the original one that should have been there, although, they were on average a good inch to the left or right of where they should have been, plus an extra crease all together halfway between that crease and the armpit....weird.. We never once had asked for a full refund, nor were we given one the first day of pick up, we merely asked for a discount because of our inconvenience. We were assured they would be done correctly when we dropped them off, and more than half weren't. We now had to take more time and money (gas) out of another day to come back for their mistakes. I did a quick add up and merely asked for $3.25 off (less than the total of one shirt). At first she argued this, then offered $4.75 off (the full price of one shirt), $1.50 more than what I asked for and we thanked her over and over. We also thanked her, but said no thank you to the delivery service because we didn't want to have to wait at home for the shirts, not knowing when they would arrive. She agreed with this. Yes, we left a little happier then when we first arrived and saw the mistakes. (Note: my add up was wrong and I didn't subtract the $5 we had already been charged, and paid for, when we dropped the articles off the first time. So really, we ended up $.25 short lol) We showed up earlier than we were supposed to the next day, because we were in the area, and yes forgot. We said no problem, smiled and said we would see them later! Unfortunately, as I said before, when we picked them up, they were still incorrect and two were worse than the first time. When we notice yet again and pointed it out to the man helping us, he began to say they would fix them. By this point, we were done and not surprisingly, we wanted our money back, just for the shirts (NOT the jackets because it was our bad for not noticing the mistakes while in the store) because they were still done incorrectly and now we had to take them to another place to have them done correctly. He ended up refunding us the $23.75 for the shirts, no more than what should have be refunded, and we left. (Again, we still ended $.25 out of the whole deal lol plus the jackets we had to take elsewhere as well). I am sorry this owner wasn't happy with my review, but that is what Yelp is about. It is a review of the services and experiences of different businesses by the people that use them. Not everyone will be happy with services that others might be. And not everyone will speak up when they are not happy with the services provided. This was simply OUR experience. I've been coming here for a while now (I'd say well over a year) and the customer service and work is excellent. They always know my name as soon as I walk in and that is so refreshing and nice. I've never had a problem with my clothes being done on time or not being done properly. I recently moved to Hayward and needed a new place, I tried a few other places around but they were more expensive and the work was still the same. I was drawn to this place initially because they are located on the way home from work and its just easy for me, but now I stay because of the quality of work, the excellent customer service, and the great pricing. So I've been coming here a couple months to get all my uniforms and suits dry cleaned and didn't pay too close attention to the work until I asked to have a stained removed. I received my shirt back with the stain still on it. There was a tag marking the stain for removal but still nothing was done to remove it. When I asked the worker about it she told me the shirt would need to be dry cleaned again and I would have to leave it. I decided not to since I was in a rush. A couple weeks later I drop off some dress shirts and a suit, and receive them back dirty still and just pressed. I asked the worker again about it and she stated I needed to request a different type of cleaning for them. Now looking back I realized, my uniforms are returned with the pit stains and not clean. They are simply pressed! Needless to say I'm over it. Two stars since the people up front are nice! read more

Had five dress shirts done, received them in a timely manner and for fairly inexpensive price, but every shirt was pressed incorrectly on the shoulders so I had to iron it out when I got home. Also, all of my shirts were returned without the collar stays put back in which is really annoying because now my collars are floppy. Not sure if this is a normal thing but I brought my shirts in with nice plastic hangers and they returned the shirts with cheap wire hangers. read more

I'm very dissatisfied with the service I had at Dry Cleaning Station and would not recommend this place . I'm new to the area and changed Dry cleaners so I thought I would give this Dry Cleaners a chance . But after trying for about a couple of months I noticed that my shirt buttons kept coming back missing or broken buttons. When I asked why this was happening I was told my buttons are old . It's too bad that the owner knows nothing about listening to the customer and making it right . When I told her I didn't bring you the shirts with missing buttons again I was told my buttons are old. So final outcome I got my shirts back with missing buttons if anyone can recommend a Dry Cleaners that is honest and puts the customer first. This place is conveniently located and easy to get to. The lady (I believe the owner) is fairly nice too, and the prices are fair. Unfortunately, the service overall is pretty bad. On several occasions I showed up on the day my shirts were supposed to be ready and they weren't (saying that this place which they outsource the actual cleaning to didn't complete the work and not "owning" the delay). Eventually I asked for a simple phone calls "heads up", next time, so I don't make multiple trips. Well, it happened again and then they said "you have a 415 area code and our phone will not dial that". They also stopped starching my shirts without telling me and when I brought this to their attention, they said "it's not our fault, our outsourced cleaners think it's more environmental". It's just bad service... or maybe the kid at the desk simply doesn't know how to handle customers at all. Either way, am stopping going here (and it takes a lot for me to leave a dry cleaner). read more

It was clear to see, but I thought whatever.. maybe its an accident and I don't really care about pants so much. As far as the response I got, no, the clerk did not inform me that someone will call me about pricing. She clearly stated she was going to charge me $1 per pound and for 20 pounds that she weighed TWICE. If you were told that when you first come in for a quote, it should be honored because that is false advertising from your employee. As far as for the dog hair, I did not complain about that at all because I knew that wasn't going to be completely gone and I knew just washing them won't make them disappear. That is why I didn't comment about the dog hair. What I did complain about was the clothes not smelling fresh. If you stated you washed them twice, why were the clothes still smelling like they were unwashed? That does not make any sense at all. Washing them twice would at least make them smell WASHED. They didn't even smell like they had detergent in them! Train your employees correctly and run a more efficient business in your wash and fold, not just your dry cleaning. I will be making sure no one else comes here and as well as leaving a report to the BBB. And in your response, you shouldn't reply and "try" to talk down on customers. Yelp is for reviews and that is my personal opinion about how the clothes smelled. And how can you tell a customer to find a different place for services when I was willing to give another chance to give better stars. What kind of customer service is that? Horrible! read more

This place was horrible, and I would not recommend it to friends or family of mine. I got three dress pants hem here and dropped them off on Thursday. They said it should be ready by Wednesday, but never gave me a time. I showed up at 6PM Wednesday because they close at 7, so I figured my pants should be done because its only 1 hour left before closing. I find out my pants weren't even there at the store, and this place has another person hem clothes and drop it back off. The lady dropped off my pants at 630 and I paid for them. I look at my pants and notices its very wrinkled and wasn't pressed. I asked the lady at the counter can she at least press them because the pants were pretty wrinkled. The lady response was that it would be an extra charge to press them. I was shock... I have never ever paid for my pants to be press after paying for them to be hem. Every single time I get my item hem, it comes back to me wrinkle free and ready to wear. I've been here 3 times and this is by far the worst experience I had. I will not return and would rather travel a couple more miles for better service. read more
