Really solid. I spoke to the bartender quite a bit. Asking questions how they started and such. They opened up about a year before Covid. Survived selling bottles Togo and hand sanitizer. The establishment is small and cute. Came with a group of friends on a Thursday night and they were having Trivia. We were not officially participating, but it was fun. Their drink menu is very interesting and the drinks taste really good too. Not as strong as I would like, but the flavor profiles are quite unique in a very good way. Each spirit has a variety of creations, but of course you can also order your standards. I could not bring myself to pay $16 for their menu items because they seemed to be pretty basic (e.g. a quesadilla), so I did not order food. When we arrived there were only two other people at the bar and considering the very small "crowd" I didn't find the two bartenders to be overly helpful or friendly. Last night I had a double shot of Blue Corn Bourbon neat, an Old Fashioned with Rye, and two Kentucky Mules, all while participating in Trivia Las Cruces with my two new friends, Paulina and Steve. (We finished second). The mixologists behind the bar were great. They got my drinks to me with grace and speed and every cocktail was perfection. I appreciate the both of you very much, Dry Point also carries a small number of New Mexico breweries products, which, based on the chalkboard they were listed on much change from time to time. If you are looking for a great place to hang out with your friends for drinks, I can think of no better place than Dry Point. Stone Crow Gourmet Stone Crow Gourmet, owned by Chef Gary is located inside Dry Point as an independent entity. Perhaps one of the best things to happen was the joining of these two business. Stone Crow Gourmet takes a great bar and turns it into a great gastro-pub. I had the Smoked Salmon Crostini and I had to get a box to take some home. For those of you familiar with Crostini they are typically sliced baguettes with a smattering of goodness. Not these Crostini, these were full side French bread slice on the diagonal with generous portions of flavorful joy. I ordered the full order which was six Crostini and that friends was too much. I was able to eat two of them there, I shared one each with the aforementioned mixologists and took two home, one of which now remains after a great midnight snack. The afternoon I was there, there was a band: nothing too loud, just a chill acoustic band. There's a taco truck outside that appears to work with the bar because they were delivering food to patrons inside. If you go in the afternoon, the sun will hit you on the outside patio. I had a girl next door that had Mexican coke,lemon, cherry vanilla bourbon and house made cherries. They had this on special the week before I went and had just enough ingredients to make me one glass. It was so very kind of them and I greatly appreciated them. This place is sooo cool. First, this is more than a bar. They have their own small-batch spirits including bourbon, gin, and vodka. I highly recommend getting a flight to try several of them out. I admit I've always been partial to whiskey over bourbon but their Bluecorn bourbon was out of this world. I also loved the barrel aged gin. Next, they have a great selection of cocktails. I had an amaretto sour for the first time which was delicious. Also, they had some great live music which, by itself, was worth the visit. Last, but certainly not least, the service and overall atmosphere was great. They don't serve food but, not to worry, there's a great food truck outside with street tacos and they even brought them right to our table inside. I would give the distillery 5 stars but thee attention to detail is lacking. I went in tonight and sampled the Vodka, Gin and Bourbon and also all 3 brandies. I ordered a bottle of the Malvasia brandy and when I got home an hour later I found that they gave me the Sangiovese brandy instead. While the Sangiovese was enjoyable it was not what I ordered, and that fact that i live 60 miles away makes it difficult to return it any time soon. All I can suggest is check your bottles before you drive off, otherwise you may be disappointed when you open your bag.... read more

Due to how small the place is you are definitely going to have a conversation with the extremely friendly proprietors or the other guests. No food is served, but it's good place to grab a drink before crossing the street to eat at Salud or St. Clair. read more
