I definitely love this place. We're visiting New Mexico and this is a nice little town brewery and it's really good. They're very nice. They have excellent pizza. I love their nachos. I get the vegetarian nachos. They are so good. They make amazing drinks. I had a dirty martini it was good. Their blood orange apple cider was good. The vibe is good. It was very loud inside so we chose to sit on the patio. Service was fast and friendly. We each had an IPA and split the New Mexico Ruben sandwich. Beers were I e cold and very tasty. The sandwich....it was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had! It was thickly stacked with pastrami, cheese and sauerkraut but the bread was perfectly grilled and never got soggy. Our experience was not great, not even good. We tried to order a flight of beer, the server told us that we could not because "new hires had broken too many of the glasses". When our food was delivered the server apologized for the plasticware. It was necessary because the kitchen was so far behind, they did not have any clean silverware. One of us ordered a salad with chicken, but the salad arrived without. The server did not come back to ask if we needed anything or if everything was ok. Little Toad on Main Street is more than a beer bar. It attracts all adult ages. In addition to interesting beer, wine and spirits like tequila and bourbon. the Little Toad Brewery and Distillery has very good food. Fresh and mid range pricing. We like the Hummus plate, Asian Salad, Turkey Club Sandwich, Garden Caesar Salad Wrap, and the Root Beer Float ($6 for Stewart's sugar Root Beer fizzing with a chunk of vanilla ice cream). The events like karaoke and Spanish bingo can make the inside area noisy, so we often sit at sidewalk tables where we can people watch Main Street. Dogs are welcome there. Outside offers great seating when there are live music, markets and celebrations right across the street. Lots of parking nearby and a variety of places to walk like Proofed Bread Bakery, COAS bookstore. the Spa Downtown and additional places to eat, some with patios. read more

We had a wonderful lunch at Little Toad Creek, it's a nice hang out spot with friendly staff and a nice selection of sandwiches. As we walked through the outside seating, we were greeted nicely and welcomed in, they even held the door for us!! We came for the distillery so were a little disappointed that the actual distillery is in Silver City. We did get to have a tasting though and what we tasted was really good! The spirits are genuine and true, meaning the vodka is nice smooth tasteless vodka, the gin is mildly junipered and also smooth and the agave spirits are truly agave and again, nice and smooth. They had me at Grilled Cheese & Tomato Soup!! Sadly, I was disappointed as the sandwich was somehow dry and the soup was the consistency of pudding! It tasted fine and I finished every bite, just wasn't up to my expectations. Hubby had the New Mexico Reuben and said it was good, just not quite enough pastrami. Great atmosphere. Lots of seating both inside and out. Great staff. They have FREE stickers. The pretzel is great but comes with processed nacho cheese instead of beer cheese, so that sucks. We got chips and cheese and the chips were stale, so we had to send them back. The pizzas are awesome. They all come with a cauliflower crust and YOU CAN NOT TELL!!! Absolutely disgusting experience. My cousin was kicked out after being falsely accused of smoking in the bathroom -- something that NEVER happened. We weren't even greeted when we walked in, no one checked on us, and we weren't asked if we wanted to order anything. From the start, we were made to feel unwelcome. They claimed there were "multiple eyewitnesses," yet it somehow boiled down to one white woman who felt "uncomfortable" with my cousin and me -- and the waitress backing her up. That's it. No proof, no conversation, just accusations. The looks and nasty faces we were getting made it very clear what was going on. Funny how my cousin and I were also the only obviously brown people in the place. When we tried to speak to the manager, she refused to hear our side at all. She immediately defended the waitress and doubled down on the lies. No apology. No professionalism. Just condescension. She made it crystal clear she would rather believe a crying white woman and a waitress than listen to two brown people calmly explaining what actually happened. The whole situation felt racially motivated and deeply uncomfortable. If you're a person of color and don't want to be stereotyped, ignored, talked down to, or flat-out discriminated against, do yourself a favor and don't come here. Plenty of other breweries know how to treat people with basic respect -- this one is not it. read more

This is my favorite place to spend time with my bestie. Something about the vibe just really works. We come here when we have something to celebrate, something to mull over, something to mourn, or just to catch up. We love sitting on the front patio so we can see whatever's happening downtown and admire any dogs who happen by. The GM often comes by to greet us and see how we're doing. The waitstaff is genuine and competent. I'm a long time Toad fan and plan to continue visiting The Toad as often as I can! read more

Seating appears to be limited to about 50 including the bar which seats about 20. Outdoor patio seats about 30. Features Beer brewed in Silver City, NM and comes in 10oz or 16oz servings. Very reasonably priced at $3.75 and $5.00 respectively. I was there on a Monday night, early April so the atmosphere was very quiet, quaint. There were about 20 customers. Occupancy is 99 which means SRO crowd. Clean, orderly, but limited seating. Music playing in the background at a very appropriate sound level. Men's bathroom is very small; one urinal and one toilet. Yikes! 6 draft micro brews on tap. I ordered a Copper Ale which was outstanding! Very smooth, easy to drink, ABV of 4,5. Highly recommended if you like Ale's. They also offer two seasonal Ale's with a slightly higher ABV. They also offer several Spirits and Cocktails. Not my thing but it's there for the taking. I ordered the Las Cruces Reuben sandwich with kettle chips. When in Rome...right? Probably the best-tasting Reuben sandwich over ever had! A must try! The place filled up as night fell. We ordered turkey melt, Reuben sandwich and toadspots (appetizer). Everything was perfection!!! We didn't expect to supply our credit card prior to dining, but apparently they've had too many dine and dash ppl ruining it for everyone. My parents and I tried Little Toad Creek Brewery today, after a morning of shopping at the Las Cruces Farmers Market. The food is good. My mom had the El Cubano sandwich, which was extremely flavorful the meat was moist band juicy. My dad had the New Mexico Reuben with a peanut salad the flavor was good. Downtown las cruces for a work trip and try is adorable little restaurant/brewery with an outdoor patio was our go-to! The beer was wonderful, they offered flights as well. There is a happy hour price until 6 PM which was wonderful! The pizza with the red Chile sauce was truly the best I've ever had and everyone who sampled it, agreed! Came here back on my winter break trip with my girlfriend. I had a flight of six so I could try each of the beers they brew. They all weren't a hit for me. I'd say I liked 4 out of the 6 but I'm glad I tried them. The pretzel is huge and tasty and the sundae is super yummy. They were packed when we went but luckily got a table. It's very clean inside but very tight spacing which makes sense from how busy they are. They want to make sure everyone gets to try their delicious beer. read more

Our group visited the farmer's market on a Saturday and stopped by Little Toad Creek for some beers. We had people from Houston, San Antonio, Georgia, North Carolina, and El Paso. ALL of us were impressed! The waiters and bartenders were really sweet and explained everything to us. One of them even went over all the beers that he recommends. We ended up getting the flight to taste test before ordering. There are board games and card games to play while you wait or while you drink too! We absolutely loved the beers and service. We also had a blast with the games provided. Most of us ended up buying their T-shirts and pint glasses as souvenirs. I'm still wearing my Toad Creek shirt around till this day! Finally made it in for a seat during one of the drag shows. Trust me, if you want to have a seat and a bite to eat before the festivities start arrive at least an hour ahead of time. At least... They usually have some fancy drink specials for an event like the drag shows. Try one then move onto your favorite beer or cocktail. I will admit I was skeptical about an old fashion at a brew pup. But this was a damn good old fashion. Pizza, sammies...the usual bar food. I will admit their grilled cheese was VERY good. Of course you can get a flight of some of their beers on tap. I am not gonna tell ya which ones are best. Everyone has a favorite type of beer. Small but pleasant patio out front right on main. Clean bathrooms. The service was fantastic! We had about 9 people around a small table for the show and our waitress was spot on with drinks and coming back regularly and getting our tabs right at the end of the night. We've been really disappointed the last several times we've been here... we came special for St. Paddy's day after they hosted a great one last year. Last year, they had special brewed green sparkly beer, this year, they were adding green food coloring behind the bar to each beer. And when we specifically asked for green beer, they forgot the food coloring, twice. They also used to have the BEST soft pretzel in LC with green chile cheese sauce and stone ground mustard. This time, they forgot our mustard and the cheese didn't have any chili in it. Plus, they tried to give out order to the table next to us and when they finally got it to us, no napkins delivered with the order. The service has never been 10/10, but you figure, it's a bar and some grace is deserved. However, lately, it's been horrible, as we've been unable to grab the attention of, of flat out ignored by all the waitstaff. Really disappointed :( read more
