They do a really good job of following up with you and reminding you when your annual service is due and dont try to hard sell you or scare you in to an annual service call when it can slip a year (No power outages during the year). Communications with reminders both text and email are quite good with a text with Geo tracking link so you can track the technician while enroute to your house. I really like this nice use of technology letting me know when I need to be ready for the tech. Overall I will continue to be a loyal customer of PM technologies where I will look to this company for all my home generator needs.

They didn't have mine in stock on the truck because it was so old. So the tech went to get me one. I had him bring me three more so I could keep them in the electrical box in case it happened again and no one had one on the truck. That's customer service. This year, tech Scott Crandall came out. He was terrific. He was very patient with my questions, he took the time to look everything over and put it on a checklist that they emailed me. I usually replace my battery every 3 to 5 years because I've found that's about how long they last in my model. He told me the voltage was reading ok but I had just begun to notice a difference in the ease of starting. So I told him replace it. He was very professional about it. No trying to talk me out of it. He gave me, the customer, what I wanted.This is the second year that I've had Scott because I requested him due to the job he did for me last year. Last year, I did have something odd going on. He fixed it then and it has run the best ever since. I like having the same person to deal with. It is nice that this company gives you that option if that tech is available. Again, customer service.

So I had my banister sand blasted after I attempted to remove 5 layers of paint. It was supposed to…read moreonly take 10 business days but they had it for 2 months. They claim they couldn't email me or call me because they lost my number some how ( which was in the email). When I finally got it back I saw they broke my wood rail in the process. They offered to take a substantial amount of money off the price and to drop off the piece they broke because they forgot it. A week later and I still don't have the damn piece. These folks have the nerve to say they are too busy to drop the piece off and want ME to come get it. Don't ever use these guys Michigan Sandblasting, Inc.

The piece that was actually getting sandblasted and powder coated was another story. Quoted $80 for the piece + $20 rush charge. I don't know how much this stuff usually costs, but it seemed ok. (Now that I read the review from Kevin G, and see what he got done for $120, I'd say my small piece was over priced.) They called the next day to say it was done, when the rush meant it wouldn't be done for another 2 days. (Was the extra $20 rush charge actually necessary if it could be done so soon?) I went to pick up the item later that day and it was beyond TERRIBLE. Like a child had done it, but worse. I can't really explain other than to say it looked like it was dipped in very thick powder coating then laid on its side to dry. There were thick drips and clumps all over. Some of it was already chipping and flaking off. (I didn't think powder coating should be able to do that.) I know, I should have taken pictures. I told them it was awful and needed to be redone, thanked them for wasting my time, and I left. In less than 1 hour, I get another call from them saying it was completed and ready for pick up. Ok, let me ask again, if the total job took less than 1 hour, was the extra $20 rush charge actually necessary? On the voicemail left, they still quoted the same price of $100. Seriously, you think I'm going to pay the $100 after the crappy job, wasting my time and gas, and an unnecessary $20 rush charge? Anyway, when I went to pick it up the second time, it was much better, still not as good as I would have expected, but much better. I don't know who took my payment, as no one through this whole ordeal bothered to give their name, but I told him what I was willing to pay for the piece due to the issues mentioned above. He agreed and took my payment.

Avoid this inspection company! They sent an inexperienced inspector to my home. He did not identify…read morenumerous issues like furnace missing obvious parts (door), visible water in furnace, clearly visible tape in furnace from previous owner, attic was not checked therefore missing fire hazard electrical from previous owner tinkering, other leaky water damage with drywall visibly water stained, and drainage issues with lot were not properly assessed in report. Every repair person has stated that these issues are obvious with EXPERIENCE! Run before non professional advice leads you into a money pit home purchase!!!!

My one and only experience with Digital Solutions will be my last. Their first attempt at repairing…read moremy laptop was a failure. Afterward, they promised to "make it right." They tried, but they failed again. My 64GB RAM laptop now has only 32GB of working RAM and years' worth of emails were overwritten. My bill: $810.49. I took a laptop to Digital Solutions on May 21, 2025, stating there was a hardware problem causing a "blue screen," and I needed them to repair the machine and to save my emails and files, if possible. I let them know the emails were very, very important to me, that I had backed up most of my files, but not my emails. The intake person (correctly) suggested it was likely a disc drive failure. It took Digital Solutions 15 days to return the laptop. The technician (who was NOT the intake person) had replaced a defective battery and saved my files and told me there were no other hardware issues. However, he failed to save my emails before he reinstalled the O/S, overwriting them. To make matters worse, he installed Windows 10 instead of Windows 11. I let him know how disappointed I was, and I left. It got worse. After three days the laptop failed because the bad hard drive crashed again. It turns out the technician hadn't realized the hard drive had gone bad. I returned with the laptop and was told they would "make it right." I already knew that could no longer happen, because the technician had overwritten my emails. However, I didn't think they would create additional problems the second time around. I was wrong. On July 3, 2025, they called to say my laptop was available, but they were unable to figure out how to get it working with 64GB of RAM, so it was returned to me with only 32GB of working RAM. When I objected, I was told by the manager, Nicole, that they had spent a lot of time and resources on my computer and "my boss would kill me" if they spent any more time working on my laptop. She's right about the time. They spent a lot of time because the technician didn't detect and replace the bad drive. All the extra hours they spent "making it right" resulted from their mistakes. Yet, Nicole acted as if she was doing me a huge favor by eating the costs that accrued from their mistakes. The bottom line: My emails are gone forever, the laptop is working with only half its RAM, yet it cost me about the same as what I just paid for a brand-new identical laptop. Lesson learned: keep your data backed up and when your computer needs repair, take it someplace other than Digital Solutions.
