I have been with PM Technologies for years. I get a yearly check up for my Generac. My Generac is older, 16 years old. One time I needed a fuse for it. They didn't have mine in stock on the truck because it was so old. So the tech went to get me one. I had him bring me three more so I could keep them in the electrical box in case it happened again and no one had one on the truck. That's customer service. This year, tech Scott Crandall came out. He was terrific. He was very patient with my questions, he took the time to look everything over and put it on a checklist that they emailed me. I usually replace my battery every 3 to 5 years because I've found that's about how long they last in my model. He told me the voltage was reading ok but I had just begun to notice a difference in the ease of starting. So I told him replace it. He was very professional about it. No trying to talk me out of it. He gave me, the customer, what I wanted.This is the second year that I've had Scott because I requested him due to the job he did for me last year. Last year, I did have something odd going on. He fixed it then and it has run the best ever since. I like having the same person to deal with. It is nice that this company gives you that option if that tech is available. PM technologies has been maintaining our home generator for the last four years and I have been very pleased with the quality of service, competence of their technicians and their fee structure which is fair in comparison to the competition. They do a really good job of following up with you and reminding you when your annual service is due and dont try to hard sell you or scare you in to an annual service call when it can slip a year (No power outages during the year). Communications with reminders both text and email are quite good with a text with Geo tracking link so you can track the technician while enroute to your house. I really like this nice use of technology letting me know when I need to be ready for the tech. Overall I will continue to be a loyal customer of PM technologies where I will look to this company for all my home generator needs. read more

We got a brand new generator one week ago and it worked for one hour last night. We were told someone would come out today and have gotten the run around on whats going on. It is 6pm and nobody had come put and the after hours number just told us it will take quite a while to fix as this is a warranty claim and we need a new motor. 0/10 would not recommend this company. read more

I have been with them for years. I do routine yearly checkups for my generator. Only had to call them for extra service twice over the years. Called last week for service because the generator was spurting and sputtering during its weekly run and I smelled gas. Both unusual for it. Naturally, I shut it down for the week while waiting for the tech. I asked for with my usual tech I've had for years. I was told he moved on to an another job. So I was at the mercy of their choice. They sent David Jeans. He's been with the company 6 years. He was terrific. He listened to what I was saying it did. He started checking everything out explaining what he was checking for each thing. I appreciated that. He found the actual problem in about 15 minutes. One of the settings in the computer had changed rendering it to run at only half power. He reset that one, tested it, and it ran perfectly. Great job. I will be requesting him again in the future. Thank you David and PM. read more

I have been dealing with this company since 2014 and never had any problems. On July 2023 I had a service call for routine maintenance of my generator. The technician did his routine testing and told me everything was fine except for the battery which was a "little weak". That I still could wait another year to replace it or that he will replace it at the moment if I wanted to. I told him to go ahead and replace it since he was already there. One to make note that this technician was new at the job. He replaced the battery and flipped the battery poles causing damage to the circuit board. He had to call another technician to come to the house and help since he did not know what to do. I got a bill for $1300.00 It was the company's mistake but since mistakes can happen to anyone I offered to pay half, which is more than fair. The company denied my offer. They just lost a good customer and will lose many others since I will not give a good word/recommendation to anyone about them. Emilio Antunano read more

I have a problem I contacted a this generator repair company and I told them that my generator needed a new battery and on March 22 2022 a technician came out to my house - Jorden was his name , a really nice guy. Well he definitely agreed with me that it needed a new battery, but he wanted to make sure that the generator would run before i had him put a new battery in it. So I happen to have a 12 vote car starter in my garage so we hooked up the jumper cables and he sprayed some carburetor cleaner in the carburetor and the generator started up, the technician did not have a battery to fit it and told me it was a special order battery and then he left. So I get and invoice for $293.64 , I was shocked and I texted Jorden and ask him is this change with the battery or without and he texted me back and said with the battery. So I called the company back and said I'll pay the bill when my battery was installed. So 2 1/2 months later I texted Jorden to please give me a update on when they think that the battery will come in and when he can come back to install it. Do on June 7th just a couple of weeks ago Jorden installed the battery and the generator works great. Then the company gave me a revised invoice for $293.71 only $,08 difference so I wasn't going to Quavo over $.08 so I paid the $293.71. And please note that both dates are on the invoice for the $293.71. Now they're giving me a passid due notice for $293.64 I called the company and I eventually talk to a service manager named Roy. And he says the I owe both invoices one for him to come out the first time and a second invoice for him to come out the second time. That means I'm going to be paying close to $600 for a battery replacement. And for Jordan just spray Carburetor cleaner in the carburetor. I feel as if they're double billing me and I told them the most likely will have to settle this in small claims court. Roy told me that most likely you'll go to collections first. My question to you is are they right or am I right do think that I'm gonna be stuck paying the extra $293.64 or should I take it to small claims court when eventually comes up through collections read more
