On top of what kind of person does that, I also noticed that he didn't even screw in any of the screws into the shelves where they meet the brackets so they are not secured, and one bracket is upside down. So now I'm going to have to hire someone to fix his work, on top of hiring someone else to finish the job. Unbelievable. I'm pregnant and am trying to get my apartment unpacked. I pulled everything out of my closets today so that he could install shelving in there, and he didn't do any of those shelves before he left, even though I explained that to him. He only did a fraction of the shelves we hired him for (bathrooms only) and didn't even finish those so this is now a complete mess and we are out the $ we paid him for. In September, I hired them to tack shingles down on my roof. There was poor communication about when the work would be done. When the agreed upon day came, they did not show up. I called and emailed to confirm and Claudio said that the guys would be there at 9. It was already 10:30am at that point. I had to go to work and clearly requested via email that they not complete any work unless I was at home- I did not receive a response to this email and called to follow up. After hours of no communication, I was told that they would come another day. I was already frustrated at this point, but needed the work done. Finally, the day came and when Claudio showed up, he was by himself. I asked if he was going to complete the work by himself because the roof is pretty large. He told me that the guys had already come to do it on the first day (where I had to contact them and was told they'd be there at 9am). He was there for my payment. He insisted they came that day, but it isn't true. I was there myself and I think I would've known if someone was on my roof. Furthermore, even when I left to go to work, I have cameras on every side of the house. I was watching the surveillance and no one showed up. I paid him, because I don't believe in cheating people out of earned money, but after my insurance company came back to inspect them roof, it is clear that no work was done. Or was not done to completion (if I'm being generous). Stay away from this company. I've contacted them to have them come back and finish (or start) the work and have been met with voicemails and unanswered emails. I will be contacting the BBB, because this is unacceptable.
