Last weekend, my husband and I finally agreed it was time to get rid of the popcorn ceilings we'd lived with for 19 years. I found Drywall Perfection here on Yelp and called Bill Monday. I told him we wanted popcorn removal from 3 bedrooms and the family room (660 sf) as well as repairing water damage in a closet. He gave me a fair price over the phone, said it would take 2 days, and scheduled to come out Thursday & Friday (yes, the same week!). I asked what we needed to do to prepare and he said I didn't need to do anything. Thursday at 6:50 am, a professional truck with the Drywall Perfection logo on it pulled up... and Bill ring our doorbell exactly at 7:00 (as promised). The guys dealt with the furniture & ceiling fans and took a lot of care to protect the walls, furniture, and floors (including the wood floor in the hallway). At the end of the day, they put everything back and cleaned up. We were able to use the 2 rooms that night. They repeated the process this morning and replaced the saggy closet ceiling (all we needed to do was take everything off the top shelf). Bill with Drywall Perfection is the BEST!!! Not only did he do a superb job of removing the ceiling Popcorn texture in 5 rooms. He covered all the walls and furniture so there would be no cleanup for me to worry about. In addition, he paid attention to making sure little details such as holes in the ceiling that needed extra patching. FYI: The decision to remove the Popcorn texture was not a cosmetic decision. The house behind me sold and the new owners gutted the house to do a complete remodel inside. When they did, all the bugs left that house and moved into our house! Another company had removed the texturing from our living room and great room. Boy, I wish I had found Drywall Perfection prior to having this done.The first company had to return several times to fix cracks, lefft plaster on the floors and walls, and left dust everywhere. Bill and staff removed the popcorn ceiling from our bedrooms in Oct. 2014 and did a fantastic job. I had contacted Bill early in the summer, not knowing when we would be scheduling the job. We spoke with the owner, Bill, about a couple of patches that I had done in the past on my ceilling (I was fixing a water leak, but i'm terrible at ceiling drywall apparently). His quote was VERY reasonable. He was extremely flexible with scheduling and we were able to have someone come out when it was convenient for us. TJ was the name of the installer. He came in laid down plastic drapes, covered everything, removed my bad work and replaced it with amazing looking drywall that is perfectly textured to match the existing surrounding texture. All I have to do is prime and then paint it to match the rest. When he left there wasn't a trace of dust/debris anywhere. We were very happy with the work that we had done and If we need anything else done in the future these will be the guys that I call. read more

Bill removed the popcorn ceiling in a room for me and repaired 8 four inch holes, as part of his procedure after removing the popcorn texture he re-secured the ceiling drywall with screws and then skim coated the ceiling before applying the texture. I mentioned that I was looking for a painter to paint the ceiling and he has a painter on staff "TJ". We scheduled TJ a couple of days later, he caulked all areas needed and then applied a paint primer and then paint. Both crews taped and coved my floors, furnishings and walls to protect our stuff. They did an excellent job and left the jobsite very clean. I am a retired General Building Contractor and I am completely satisfied with their work and ethics. We hired Bill 4yrs ago to remove and repair damaged walls in a older home we bought.Bill showed us a skip trowel texture he had done. So we had our whole house done.We seen the popcorn come down and the extra care he took to perpare the walls.We lived out of state and had to leave. We gave Bill the keys. We hired Drywall Perfection to remove wallpaper and retexture a wall in our house. The adjacent walls were already textured and we were concerned about the texture not matching after the wallpaper was removed. William is a true Drywall professional. Bill knows drywall! We took down wallpaper in our kitchen and breakfast nook areas. Tricky areas to texturize with windows, weird wall angles, plant shelves, many corners. He and his crew taped off the entire area to keep adjacent ceilings, walls, and floors clean. The finished walls' texture looked exactly like existing walls - a perfect match. I had a painter repair a crack in the ceiling over an existing patch but the result was unsatisfactory. We did a kitchen remodel and after taking two walls down we needed someone to fix the drywall. We found Drywall Perfection and Bill and his team did a great job. They did a great job of blending the new drywall with the old drywall. We were given Drywall Perfection name and number as a last effort to get someone to fix small issues with house settling, nail pops and cracks after 11 years. The day we called them they had an opening the next day!
