I needed a company to come and re-install my outside split unit that was installed using sheetrock anchors. (Prior to my ownership). I put a request for recommendations on a Facebook page and Dave responded quickly. I will confess that my draw to them was the fact that they are Veteran owned and operated. Tom and Heaye came to my house today and assessed the situation. We discussed options and I stated how I wanted to go about the repair. Tom was very upfront with things that may come up with the unit but understood what I wanted. The rehanging of the unit went well and the unit suffered no damage. Their communication and knowledge of their own processes and business is lacking. The installation was ok but they did something with the electrical box which screwed up our solar panels and we had to have them come back and fix it twice. On the second try, we finally got someone that knew what they were doing. They send a sub con to inspect it in October and he called in April saying he had to inspect it???? We asked them for something in writing saying that the permit was closed and no other actions were required. They sent us the permit which they should have provided when they did the work and did not. It took numerous calls asking them to ensure the permit was closed. We finally went to town hall and got the answer ourselves. I would not recommend them unless you have a lot of time on your hands to follow up and follow up and get vague answers and have an ok job done. read more

I've been wanting ductless systems in my house for awhile and wasn't happy with some other company's that came to see what I wanted, DS Electric were friendly and knowledgeable when Frank came to give my estimate and understood what I wanted to do. They were able to give me exactly what I wanted within my budget and I couldn't be happier. Frank and Demetrius came today 03/27/23 and installed my new system and the process was so easy. They were professional and meticulous with their work. Everything was installed as cleanly as possible and I'm more than satisfied with the job. I was so thrilled with their work that while they were here I had them give me a estimate on upgrading my main panel to the house with generator transfer switches and the price was great so I signed the contract for them to do that also. Dave Stewart and his team installed a generator for us last month. We were very impressed with the company. Dave was very communicative, straightforward and easy to work with. Pricing was fair and the two staff who came to install the generator clearly explained everything they were doing and answered all of our questions. When our propane company told DS Electric's reps that we needed to trench the line (which was not correct), DS Electric quickly secured additional staff to do this work and informed us of the additional cost. When it turned out that the propane company had provided wrong information, DS Electric made additional calls to the company to clear things up and reverted back to us promptly.
