wow David has crew came out. Did an amazing job. The design was perfect from start to finish. There were some delays due to him being a smaller business and the rain does mess these guys up but he did finish the job and they came out perfoneed really well and this was a big size project. DS Greenery has changed their name from DS Greenery Landscape and Maintenance, but it is the same owner, David Hernandez. My review from May 1 was removed due to this name change so I am putting it back. I had requested my deposit back due to his lack of fulfilling the agreement by not showing up on three consecutive appointments among other things. He said he could do the job in one day and needed a deposit for materials. He sent an invoice and I paid it for sod and 3 palms. $1,050.00 was paid. When He showed up 4 days late, he was driving a U Haul with a flat bed trailer attached at 1:00PM. He did not have sod or trees. He said he required more money from me. I said usually the balance is paid when the job is completed. He said he had another person coming that would show up later. David weed whacked my small backyard of approximately 500 square feet.I asked him if I can see the supplier order and he said he did not have it and would have to go home to get it. I realized I could not tolerate any more excuses and said he was done and I wanted a refund. He said he would give me a refund. He was at my home for a total of 20 minutes. The texts that followed that day were more excuses about getting money back from his sod and tree supplier. I offered to send him a check for $20.00 for weed whacking my back yard space once I received my deposit of $1,050.0. I pay my regular lawn guy $40.00 for the front and back yard. Now he will not answer my calls. My yard is still a mess because my yard budget is gone. I have been waiting for 3 weeks for my deposit to be refunded and no way to contact him. I definitely would not recommend this company or the owner David from DS Greenery. It has been almost 30 days since I have spoken with him and paid a deposit of $415 for services to be rendered for monthly maintenance of my yard and the installation of pavers and he wanted a deposit up front which I paid $415 and was told services would be within that next week. In multiple attempts trying to reach him and call him he would never return my call he would only text and say he's very busy and he'll text me when he has a moment and he never did. I put the first bad review on Yelp 3 weeks ago because he blocked my number and would not respond. Shortly after that review he did text me from an unknown number as well as his work number that I've called him on and texted him on and said that he would really like to continue complete the job but I formally requested a written text refund requestt and as of today 5/21/26d he still has not refunded the money for services he never provided or completed and the lack of communication with David and this company is very frustrating. If you decide to hire this company be very careful about giving a deposit up front. My experience has been very disappointing and frustrating and because he will not refund my $415 I am now taking him to small claims court. read more

Wow, I really reconsider this business because of the reviews but after I finish talking to David, he made me feel like he will take care of what I actually needed he came out and did an evaluation and actually did what I needed on site all my palms, my grass and my flower bed are back alive. Will definitely recommend to other people. He is a smaller business, though he did mention that to me, but definitely has skills and knows what he talks about. I wrote this complaint to warn/inform YELP customers and others about Mr. Dave Hernandez and his company D.S. Greenery, serving Deltona FL, nefarious, and unsavory business practices/activities Moreover, to recommend that YELP investigate and prevent this type of activity from happening again and request that they do a much better job vetting a business before they allow them to advertise on their website/platform. Nevertheless, I discovered Mr. David (Dave) Hernandez, the alleged owner of D.S Greenery on YELP. I was searching for a contractor to clear a small area on my property and prepare the soil for a small orchard. Dave contacted me and stated he could perform the service for a $1000. He stated later he could also purchase the plants for a very good price, put an irrigation system in the orchard, and reseed my lawn as well. We renegotiated the price and he requested a deposit for materials and labor. Dave stated he would start the work the following day around 1000am and around noon that day he texts me and stated he didn't have all the items, and he was trying to accomplish the project in one day to save on labor. He came out the following day in his U-Haul truck an empty trailer, without a work crew and said he was having a problem finding a work crew and he could not find the "timer' for the irrigation system and had to order it online and reschedule. After around two weeks and four or five missed scheduled appointments, providing "poor/pathetic" excuses stated he finally found a crew, had all the materials and would come out in a couple days, which turn into about four days. The last time he came out he was alone, in his U-Haul truck with no materials. He stated the crew was behind him and they would be out to my property soon. He then drove his truck to the back of the property and pretended like he was working. He used a weed eater on bare ground/dirt. Then use a leaf blower to blow dirt and cut a miniature palmetto with a chainsaw. Afterwards, he told me that was all he could do that day and the crew was not coming. Then he requested more money for materials...I told him "NO"... and he said he would be back with his work crew the following day. On the following day, Dave called me and said his crew bailed out on him again and he was in the process of finding a new work crew. I informed him that if he didn't make it on the date, we agreed to that I would no longer required his services and expected a refund. He said "OK" Dave, on the date we agreed to...text me and asked for an extension and I told him the folloiwing: That his services were no longer required. That I had gave him several opportunities to fulfill our agreement and he had failed to uphold his part of the agreement. Moreover, it became quite evident that he did not have the proper resources ( i.e. personnel and proper equipment) to begin nor complete the project...and it appeared instead of being professional had chosen to fabricate excuses and be deceptive. Therefore, your services are no longer required, and I expect a refund immediately. Dave, called me the following day and stated he would bring my refund. Then he text me a day later stating he was putting the documentation together to cancel/settle the refund in a professional manner and would come to my residence the following day to settle our business. It's been around three weeks and Dave from D.S Greenery has not reach out to me, brought or gave me my refund. and he has not answered any of my phone calls nor responded to my text messages. Again, I wrote this complaint to warn/inform folks about Mr. Dave Hernandez and his company D.S. Greenery nefarious, and unprofessional behavior/activities. Moreover, recommend that YELP investigate this matter to prevent this from happening again and do a much better job in vetting folks before they allow them to advertise on their website/platform. Wow words can't even describe how amazing this company is. David told me he will be at the property at a certain time and he was there 30 minutes earlier. He also had him and another guy do some extra work on the lawn as they were here they laid five pallets of sod and planted over 64 flowers the price was definitely amazing. The timing and I got everything that I requested well definitely recommend to other people and last thing. He also does the monthly service and he got me down at 125 bucks a month to maintenance the lawn once a week. Most definitely recommended. read more
