He came over the same week I reached out, listened carefully to what we wanted, gave honest feedback about what was realistic in the space and our price range, and sent a clear, detailed quote within 24 hours--no vague "ballpark" nonsense. The pricing was very fair for the Helena area, especially considering the quality of materials he recommended. The work itself was completed in 6 days (they said 5-7, so right on target). He was polite, clean, and clearly knew what he was doing. He protected the floors and hallway perfectly--no drywall dust apocalypse like we've had with other contractors. Highlights: - The Schluter strip details and perfect grout lines look pro-level. - He fixed a slow leak in the shower valve we didn't even know we had (saved us future headache and money). - New LED vanity lights + recessed lights completely changed the feel of the room. - They hauled away all the old fixtures and left the place spotless. Throughout the construction process, there was a consistent lack of knowledge and oversight, resulting in multiple deviations from the approved building plans. Despite raising concerns repeatedly, critical details were ignored or handled incorrectly, many of which were foundational to the integrity of our home. Even more troubling, poor workmanship and improper construction practices led to conditions conducive to mold growth. Moisture intrusion, lack of proper sealing, and careless installation of building materials created a hazardous environment. These are not minor cosmetic issues--they present serious threats to both the structure and our health. What's most frustrating is the company's failure to accept accountability or take appropriate corrective actions. Rather than working transparently and professionally to resolve these concerns, we were left managing the fallout, including costly remediation and the emotional toll of navigating the mess they left us with. They wrote derogatory words on our walls, leaving us in disbelief of their actions. Which, we have photos of. This is a small example of their character. In my opinion, this company is unqualified for responsible home construction.
