What's really cool about this company is that he happens to hire people that don't drink and smoke so you don't have to worry about that type of stuff in or around your home. Also they have such great attention to detail. Last year I had him strip down and repaint and add gutters to my second home. It's like night and day. Before the water ran down the walls and went under the paint, it was a disaster. John and his crew fixed all that with new paint and window frames and gutters and it's still in pristine shape. This year we hired him again to both fix the roof on that other house, and remodel our downstairs to turn it from an old funky concrete room to a new laundry and dry storage goods facility. Both went beautifully and now my wife is very happy with her new storage room! Happy hippo provides a good price, but what they really provide is VALUE. We asked if this was invoiced for an estimate, the very rude woman said no they don't charge for an estimate. We asked them to send someone out to give us an estimate. Several days later an entire roofing crew showed up to "do the repair ". We explained that all we wanted was an estimate for repair or replace. The supervisor was angry and called the office they were rude and angry that we would not let them do the work. They sent us a bill. No one ever looked at the roof and no estimate to fix or replace. I would not recommend this company to anyone ever. They are rude, arrogant, crooks. Call Ace or Mountain roofing both stellar. Would any one let a company just show up and do a big job without first knowing what it would cost?
