While I was there the gentleman offered to measure my foot because I mentioned that my size seems to go up an down all the time ever since Covid. I assumed it was because I was barefoot a lot more due to being home more. He said that could be it, but that shoe makers are starting to come up with their own sizing (like vanity sizes in women's clothing). He did he often wears a different size depending on the shoe maker. That was a nice tip to keep in mind.

I tried clothes on and asked if they could keep them at the counter while I continued to look, the girl working at the register didn't even make eye contact with me, she just said ok, with an upset face. Hmmm while I continued looking for clothing for an upcoming vacation, a gentleman that works there offered if he could put clothes in a dressing room for me, he was he only helpful person there. In the end I found lots of great clothes for my vacation however, I feel the need to write this review because the only reason I feel I was treated differently was because of the color of my skin. I find it weird because I'm Hispanic and it looked like everyone working there that was ignoring me is Hispanic too. Next time I will rethink going there. Perhaps some customer service training needs to be revisited.

I was getting so frustrated cause I was looking for this dress in my size and it was like the 3rd Gap I went too. Not only did the lovely sales lady notice my frustration, she took all the clothes out of my hands and got me a dressing room. She then told me to start trying on and she would look for the dress so I wouldn't end up having a stroke in the store. Smart girl. Fast forward 4 minutes later...VOILA! Dress in hand. Easy as pie. She was cute and talkative, but not creepy talkative, like trying to get me to buy stuff. Oh and the new 1969 jeans are in and they are TO DIE FOR! Fit like a glove... I could not exactly remember if it was one size or the next one up, petite or regular either. I had tried this on back in December in Charleston with my mom. There were a lot of sizes left in this style on sale, but not in my size. Jessica found a variety of dresses in petite and regular with a similar silhouette for me to try, and eventually she found one a size lower than I suggested in the original dress I wanted to try. It ended up fitting me enough to see what size length I should order, so I ordered it to be shipped for free to my house. I also have a rule to try on a dress on sale that has only one left and is in my size, and that one fit me too. She told me that 95% of WHBM clothes are washable (I always thought they were dry clean only) so I bought this fancy dress with a sale price of $50 and I can wash it in my wash machine! I was so happy about that. I appreciate the service here and honest feedback on fit.

House of hoops only has four locations in dfw. They are much more organized then the Northpark…read morestore. I went to buy some shoes that were being released over a weekend. I was able to get in and out in less then twenty minutes. They can scan the shoes and tell you whether or not they have your size in stock. The service here was great and the store is well lit and very clean. The major difference with a house of hoops store is they often carry a larger variety of colorways that many other stores just don't seem to have. They also have tons of accessories if that's your type of thing. You can always find those hard to find exclusive releases here and they have a points based card also. Once you spend over certain amounts they will mail you coupons to save on your future purchases.
