So I didn't expect this place to have a good selection of men's shoes but I was pleasantly surprised. This place is large, quite large actually.. very expansive. They have a lot of specials for their shoes, color coded (not the actual one, just my rough memory), blue, yellow, orange, purple and so on.. and it would be like 20, 40, 60 or 80 percent off the already discounted prices. They have plenty of boxes of those spandex looking socks that you can use if you aren't wearing socks so it's very clean. The service is stellar. They were so helpful, very cheery and were abundant if you ever needed assistance. There's plenty of parking in the lot so you'll never need to find a spot. read more

Great customer service. You can purchase dress shoes, sandals, sneakers, kids shoes. Lots of things to buy aside from shoes. They have jewelry, bags, perfumes, lotion, chapstick, shoe laces, shoe cleaner.... it's a large store and the aisles are clearly labeled with hanging signs so you can easily find where you need to go. read more

Miles and miles and miles of shoes... In every style and color... It's a magical place and I highly recommend signing up for their loyalty program. I get more deals in the mail that keep me coming back for more. I enjoy their clearance rack and appreciate the price guide - it helps! Have driven by this place so many times I couldn't even count and always saw the big DSW and used to wonder what the heck it stood for. Well now I know it was my first visit and wasn't sure what to expect I went in on a whim when a friend said they had some good shoes at great prices. Well I wasn't disappointed they have lots and lots of footwear from dress to casual to work to sport they have several designer names and all are at huge discount. Place is huge they've got aisles and aisles of shoes also socks belts although I had an idea of what I wanted going in. I needed a new pair of brown dress shoes and took me no time to find what I was looking for. You basically serve yourself they have the boxes of the shoes under each display and you just get what you want try em on and head to register at least that's what I did and I believe it's the way it works as the workers I saw were up front by the registers. I got a pair of Cole Haan shoes saved 90$ and was very satisfied. I'm gonna go in and really look around I really just glanced at other stuff as I knew what I was looking for but will definitely be back. They give you a 10$ coupon towards your next purchase when you pay and give them your email and name not bad read more

I've been to this store location a few times in the past. I enjoy getting shoes, who doesn't. The problem is I seem to enjoy buying more than I do wearing them. I had bought a pair of boots at the Washington Street store in Boston and was going to this one in Saugus to return/exchange the black pair I had for the grey, if I liked it when I saw it. I had gotten an 8.5 like a dummy because I am an 8 but when I was trying them on the day I got them for some reason it just wasn't working out for me. I was struggling with my decision and the staff was really helpful when I had asked if they had the black in an 8 (which generally everything they have on the floor is their stock), so I decided to stick with the boots I had originally bought. I decided though, I needed stockings or tights with them and of course every pair I wanted they didn't have in my size and the girl helping me out was pretty funny. Although my shoe selection didn't work out for me, I still wear the boots just with a thicker sock. They're fine and I had a good experience there. They have a lot of shoes and its oddly set up with just rows and rows but definitely a great store to walk around in and check out all the different styles. I absolutely cannot stand shopping for shoes. I am incredibly picky when it comes to the style of my dress shoes that I can never seem to be satisfied. A couple weeks ago I stopped into DSW to hopefully find a new pair. I was actually impressed with their men's shoe selection. There were a lot more options than I expected. The only downside is that they just didn't seem to have any dress shoes that matched the style and price range that I wanted. I still splurged and bought a new pair of Sperry's at a very reasonable price. I do generally enjoy going into DSW. When I need new shoes, they will have something for me 90% of the time. I know my girlfriend found a lot of new shoe options and was very happy with her trip there. I had little interaction with the staff at this location. They definitely seemed helpful to those who asked questions, and the employees at the checkout counter were quite efficient at their jobs. There is really nothing to complain about at this store, but there's also not much that wow's me, and therefore I can only give it 3 stars. I hope that this review does not deter anyone from shopping here. You'll most likely find what you need, or atleast an acceptable substitute. read more

The service there is HORRIBLE! The associates are walking around aimlessly and then they start talking to eachother. I asked one women if she had a shoe in wide and she had a bad attitude and just replied "no" and walked away. Another women got upset because I didnt put back 2 pairs of shoes. I tried on 5 pairs and was going to by 3 of them but after dealing with her attitude I put the shoes down and left. I'll never shop their again. read more

The staff is amazing!! Timothy is my hero! But seriously! I went in there last week looking for shoes to wear to my wedding and they didn't have my size at the store neither did they anywhere in the district for the shoe I desperately wanted. Timothy (manager) put out a nation-wide search for the shoe in my size. He called me every other day with the latest updates and was excited to do it. He found my shoes and I picked them up today!! Thanks Timothy and your staff I can't wait to wear them! read more
