When I arrived that evening, the woman who I had talked to before the store opened was still working and someone had returned the hat I wanted during the day, and she set it aside for me. He was able to find a pair of shoes that he hadn't been able to find anywhere else.... also, side note, they actually have a good selection of shoes in the $60 - $75 range. He also shopped some of the sale shirts and found a BOGO deal. Checkout was smooth and they even had $25 off next purchase (I think of $75) that we could use next time (In store only). Overall good experience, not necessarily my favorite brand, but it was a nice store and if you like the brand you should check them out.

Their "Carter's cash" promo is FRAUDULENT. The email says"$20 or $25+ purchase" - it's false advertising! On Wed, I spent 1/2 an hour shopping only to get to the register and have them tell me I have to spend $50 to use the full $20 rewards cash. If I spend less than $50 they would only let me use $10 rewards. It doesn't say that in the email w/ my rewards cash. As I mention, it said $25+ purchase. I wasted 30 minutes of my time shopping for bowl reason. The manager and the 2 employees at the register agreed with me that it says $25 or more and nothing about spending $50. Still, they wouldn't honor the deal. I left the clothes at the register and left the store forever I used to work in retails and know mgrs can override a transaction to honor a misprinted price or promo. Currently, I work in advertising and know the attorney general issues fines for false advertising. I'm incredibly disappointed by that experience.

After waiting and expecting the items to arrive, I was informed that the order never even made it to the warehouse for fulfillment. How does an order get accepted, payment processed, and then somehow never reach the warehouse? This is a basic failure of order management and customer service. The most frustrating part isn't even the delay--it's the lack of communication. I had to find out after the fact that the order was essentially lost within their system. If I hadn't followed up, who knows how long I would have been waiting. A company that charges premium prices should have reliable fulfillment processes and proactive communication when something goes wrong. Missing a Father's Day gift because an order never made it to the warehouse is unacceptable. Unfortunately, this experience has made me question whether I can trust Duluth Trading Company with future orders.
