In total I paid $2000 for them to break my irrigation system and have 1/2 my yard die. I had another company who dug up the backflow valve and showed that rainpros disconnected half my irrigation system and were clearly responsible. Now I am waiting on Tim Buiten to grow a spine take fault, instead of just my money. Don't let this shady company take your money. I would also recommend stearing clear of all of Tim's companies: Tim's complete landscaping management and rain pros.

The scope included a full spring cleanup of a heavily overgrown yard, including mowing, pruning, weeding, pressure washing, bark installation, and repairing a distressed gravel pathway. Their pricing was very much on par with the other companies I met - for that large service, as well as ongoing bi-weekly yard care. They were on time, responsive via text when confirming the verbal quote and providing additional pricing details, and overall very kind, transparent, and fair throughout the process. Even though I went a different direction for this particular project, I would absolutely feel comfortable recommending them in the future. I then called Josh, the owner of 5 Star Backflow, and he and his team worked around the clock to help me because I was up against a deadline. His communication with us was spectacular and thanks to him our water did not get cut off. We even had a complication with the backflow valve being broken, but he got it taken care of and he went way above and beyond to help us. Once they had me in their system, they started contacting me in advance to schedule the test each year, which I really appreciate since the city notice doesn't usually give a lot of turnaround time. This year the city surprised me by sending the notice a month early, and I was on vacation when the notice came. This left me with just over a week before it was due. I contacted 5 Star Backflow Services and they were able to do the test just a couple days later. After the test they always send the report directly to the city within 24 hours. Absolutely capable of doing the job, entirely not capable of meeting their promises or call to inform about changes of plans. We will not be using their services again.

In paper, contracts, warranty, it looks legit, I worked with him for more than a year, in the quotes and saving the money to do this. Hired the complete service, he was supposed to bring in to the project and expert in lawn/ Grass, my dream was to have a beautiful garden, this was a mayor project for me, and it was supposed to be a surprise for my wife, for when she returned from a family trip. The reality : The Crew was non existing mostly it was Luis , his little brother ( I think he was 8 or ten years old) , no parter expert on grass, he had one or two guys working esporadically, but most of the work was done by Luis. He did a terrible job, the grass that was brand new (allready grown) died after a week of no water, he was doing the irrigation, and due to his delays in the irrigation installation, the lawn was severely impacted, even dough we watered manually constantly. The surprise for my wife was in reality a nightmare, the work was not completed on time, in fact was not completed at all. Basically, took the money 10.000 dollars, walk away, never responded my phone calls ( left more than 30 voice mails) no response on emails, his mailing address is a ups mailbox, nobody knows him. Tried to contact him through multiple ways, and nothing I was robbed, lied and disappointed After more than a year I was forced to hired someone else to re-do the grass . The fact he took the money and disappeared is terrible, it was my dream home project, and it was a huge investment for me and my family. The fact that he promised verbally and in writing and failed to complete his promises is what hurt the most, I trusted in Luis, and you robbed me from my dram, my surprise for my wife and 10.000 dollars. Luis, shame on you, sooner than later you will face the consequences of your acts. I do understand he is back in business, I am sad to know that some other family will be taken advantage of the good faith and hard earned money. I don't recommend this company nor Luis for anything.

I work in the design industry so I understand that proposals can often take a bit longer than initially projected. After my first follow up, I was promised a proposal after he completed a couple others. I patiently waited and either called or texted about every three weeks and was ghosted. If the project was too small or he was too busy, the HONEST thing to do would have been forthright and responded that he was either too busy or not interested. This is a poor business practice and he strung us out all summer. Don't waste your time with Nature Breeze Landscaping.

We recently had the pleasure of working with Duarte's Landscape Construction on a major project that included our front yard, backyard, and a walkway on the side of our house. From the initial consultation to the final touches, working with Nino, the owner, and Guillermo, the estimator and project manager, was truly amazing. Their professionalism, impeccable work ethic, and attention to detail ensured every aspect of the project exceeded our expectations. For the backyard, they completely transformed a sloped lawn into a beautifully leveled space. They added two French drains, installed fresh sod, and built a stunning flower bed bordered with retaining wall stone. The new paver deck, complete with composite railings, seamlessly connects to a walkway on one side and a patio sitting area on the other. The patio sitting area extends into a paver walkway that leads from the side yard to the driveway and the front patio. They also fenced the backyard, added gates on both sides, and installed a 3-zone sprinkler system to ensure everything stays lush and vibrant. The paver lighting they installed is a showstopper--illuminating the walkways, stairs, patio sitting area, deck, and retaining wall. It adds a beautiful ambiance and enhances the safety and usability of the space after dark. For the front yard, they extended our existing 2-zone sprinkler system with three additional sprinkler heads for a small patch of lawn beyond the public walkway. They added pavers to separate the lawn from the flowerbed and planted a variety of perennials that bring color and life to both the front and backyard. What truly impressed us was how the final result perfectly matched the renderings we were shown before the project started. Duarte's Landscape Construction brought our vision to life in a way that was not only functional but absolutely stunning. We couldn't be happier with the outcome! I recently had some major landscaping work done in my backyard, and I couldn't be happier with the results! The team completely transformed my outdoor space, adding pavers, a retaining wall, new turf, a patio expansion, and stunning outdoor lighting throughout the walkway and seating areas. Overall, the whole process was smooth, and the team was fantastic to work with. They really took the time to listen to my ideas and make sure everything was done to perfection. These guys were awesome. Nino was so helpful and made my dreams come true about my lawn. He explain everything in detail and answer any question I needed. One time I wanted to change the type of rocks because i saw some online that i wanted. This was late at night, I was worried about calling Nino about the change but i wanted to make sure it was taken care of. Many Of these Reviews are expected due to Appointment not being read on time,i work at duarte's and i can tell you that this happens due to Nino Having Multiple jobs at once. Most of his team cant drive and don't understand fellow languages Other people understand. Rest asure we are always working out very best to help around. read more

Several months after the service, I am unable to stand by my original review. I struggle to find…read moreredeeming qualities in the staff and business practices of this company when issues arise. When I reached out after discovering continued issues with their work, they deflected responsibility, provided poor customer service, and in hindsight - were unprofessional and unskilled. When I sought a quote through Yelp in looking for someone to repair a leaking sprinkler, they were quick to respond. I saw on their website that they offered free estimates so I provided my address, and after they came, demanded I pay $200+ for a consultation fee after looking around. Since I brought up the false advertising and the free quote offer on their website, they "compromised" by saying that they would put the amount towards the service if I worked with them. This was their only compromise - no apology, no leaving, just a demand that I pay the $200 for coming out, or work with them. After I agreed and accepted the offer, they did the job poorly, and kicked an underground pipe (in front of my husband, and dismissed his concerns when he noted that kicking the pipe may break it) which later began leaking. They continued to deflect responsibility when we tried to reach out about the escalated leak when our water bill increased the following month. When they did communicate with us, we were instructed to monitor the leak for a month and return with observations. Zero follow up. Then, when they came back to review the issue in person, they insisted on an additional weathering service before addressing responsibility, and would not accept any fault or offer any solutions except to have them come back in the Spring to turn the water back on....for another $200. Again, denying any culpability nor offering solutions. There was repetitive and creepy emphasis on leaving them a good review online, saying there was no issue, and continued deflection, and denial of responsibility. I don't know what kind of Jedi mind trick they're attempting here but my first hand witness and water bill speaks for itself. Beware.

After a year of on/off effort in attempting DIY turf installation, and watching weeds grow back…read morewhere we dug them out, we gave in and called Kairo. Jody was very polite and accommodating to our schedule. Turf quote was comparable to what we quoted ourselves during our DIY effort. Labor seemed pricy, but I have nothing to compare it to. They did send about 2-3 guys to do the job.... and they got a 450 sq ft area done within 2 days, as they had estimated. Upon completion, the team cleaned up very well... no mess, no dirt on our driveway. I noticed they laid down some cover along our walking path while they performed the job. We did ask for 2 quotes.... The first was higher than planned, so we ask for a requote for a smaller area. Jody was very understanding and prepared another quote. We thought about it again.... and really didn't want the dirt that would need to be maintained, and knew our beagle would want to run in the entire area.... so we decided to go with the initial full quote. WE'RE GLAD WE DID! our beagle loves running throughout the whole turf'd area! and he stays clean!!! Turned out it rained hard this weekend. No problem! Turf drained well... no mushiness under the shoes. Got dirt on the turf?...just flick the grass and the dirt seem to bounce out. We didn't talk about it, but our yard had a few drain features. The crew didn't just cover up the features... they did the right thing and put cutouts in the turn to leave the features exposed. Good call team. They moved one of the two trees as requested. Re-planted well, and left a nice clean cutout and base at the trees. Turf tucked in pretty tight. Love it. :)
