We had road side assistance through our insurance, and my insurance company gave me a list of places that they could tow the vehicle to for repairs. I was advised by both the insurance company and the tow truck driver to have it towed to PEP boys. As somebody who works in the auto industry, I cringed at the thought of taking it to PEP boys, big chains tend to be "wham, bam, thank you for the money," and I wanted to avoid that, so I started googling the different options. Being in the mountains of PA, some of these places were literally peoples home garages, and again this didn't seem like a ideal place to get my car fixed (not that a lexus is difficult to work) but I wanted a reputable shop with a wide range of experience. The fifth google search popped up Edwards Auto Repair, from the pictures I could see it was at least a 4 bay shop that also performed state inspections. I thought to myself, "to have 4 bays in the mountains, they must be doing a decent volume work," Ill give them a shot. It was the best decision ever. The owner, Ed, was very easy to work with. They took great care of the vehicle and went out of their way to make it easy for me to come and pick it up. Allowing me to pay over the phone, storing the vehicle while we attended the funeral, and Ed even making a special trip out to the shop to drop off the key so I could pick up the vehicle outside of their normal business hours. These guys are fantastic, I also found out that they service the vehicles of the state police for the area. If you are ever out in this part of the country and need your vehicle worked on, I highly recommend this shop.

The new tire wasn't cheap, but I truly appreciate the approach the guys took--get one (matching) tire now, get the rest of the life out of the others, and let's look at different tires when the other three need to be replaced. I didn't feel 'sold' or otherwise taken advantage of, something I think is always top-of-mind in a tire shop (whether that's fair or not is another story). I highly recommend these guys for tire or other work and expect to visit again myself, even though there are other shops much closer to home.

Owner is extremely knowledgeable, personable, willing to discuss your vehicle, and is helpful. I will continue to bring my cars here. Additional context: dealer and several other shops could not or would not provide me answers for the lights (but sure loved to take my money and provide "eh, maybe, it could be" responses). The (redacted) Cadillac dealer I previously went to, failed to identify the issue. They also failed to replace/fill oil on my last service resulting in a critical low oil state-- also adding unnecessary wear to the vehicle and inspired a new engine noise. I was about to give up and drive the car off a bridge-- Meoni's: quickly diagnosed the issue, about 24 hours, with a confident and clear answer. They have a fair labor rate that doesn't feed a corporate machine. They gave me a fair price for the diagnostic work. After all said and done... due to the age, wear, and other factors, they didn't recommend fixing the issue. The owner and I discussed his reasoning, which was supported by objective evidence. This demonstrates integrity I simply cannot find in any other shop I've been to. I cannot recommend it more.
