Also, there are benches and tables throughout the property, which makes it convenient if bringing food or if you have children. Everytime I've gone, I've had a lot of fun and caught some nice ones. Public bathrooms are available and opened and cleaned daily. There are 2 massive playgrounds available for all ages. One is located next to the park benches and BBQ puts and the other right behind the ball field. My daughter and I had an amazing time at cedar grove community park. Very clean and safe atmosphere. Parking is plenty. I can imagine weekends it gets crowded but there's overflow parking on your way in. Gorgeous selection of two trails, I usually do both to get some extra steps in. Altogether doing both trails is about 2.5 miles. Tons of beautiful views all around. Very very dog friendly as well. I always see a few dogs on the trail. They also do kayak rentals during the summer which seems super fun. Great spot!

I love how there's so much to do at the park. You can grill, go to the beach, go for a walk and even ride your bike. It's a great time. The beach is small and full of rocks and pebbles. The water was freezing even in the hot weather. The walk towards the water is even worse. There's rocks everywhere you step and can be extremely painful. My sister and I both cut our feet trying to get in and out of the water so I HIGHLY recommend getting some water shoes! My favorite parking lot is the west side only because there's a bathhouse where you can change, use the bathroom and take a shower. Highly recommend to come here for a fun beach day or picnic or grilling. Love love this place!
