Such a beautiful spot for a relaxing time. Easy going staff. You can bring your own food, rods and bait or rent the bait and rods. Definitely coming again!

Went fishing here with my 11 year old daughter, our friend Jonathan, and Jonathan's two daughters. An interesting pay to fish lake. What is nice is that no fishing license is required, adults pay $11, kids under 12 pay $9. I'm not sure if they gave us a break, but we paid $46 cash with two containers of baby night crawlers (worms). Contrast that with the $22.50 per adult NJ Fishing License cost, with the $10.50 trout stamp. I would bring cash. They had no change and had not opened the "cash box" as of 9am. They have 7 small lakes on the property with 8 types of fish stocked. We mostly caught small sunfish, and the girls had great fun catching them over a 3-4 hour period. Great place to keep younger ones entertained. I caught a couple of small bass on small Rapala lures. Don't expect any trophy's here. You can catch and release or pay to take your catch home. Bathrooms are available, but are somewhat crude. I would suggest bringing a cooler and snacks/lunch if you plan to make a day of it. All in all a fun place to bring kids to fish.

Multiple ponds on the property to choose from and they sell all sorts of bait, as well as rent out rods, if you don't have your own.

Now by living with it has become the new normal, it is commendable on how these businesses and public places continue to remain open and cater to the general public by following the safety standards. We wanted to find some place for a nice evening walk and ran into this in Google maps. It was a 30 minute drive from our place, to get here. The parking had a lot of spaces and wasn't too busy. We took a nice walk by the beach. The beach was closed by fences in a lot of places warning on the high lead content the water would contain. The roads, children play area and the side gardens were well maintained. Most of the people were weary of the pandemic and wore masks, but not everyone. The overall distance would be a good 2 mile walk that was not hard and was enjoyable to do by the bay.

It's beautiful enough when you get here, how can you go wrong with an ocean and good weather. However, the moment I saw the EPA hazard sign that you can see in the photos, it was like finding a hair in a five-star restaurant. Turned me off to this park completely and I just left. They need to clean up their act.
