I had literally been stymied for years after my parents' deaths, getting lost in the overwhelming decision making of what to keep and what to discard. Trying to work on my own, I was far too often getting lost down the rabbit hole of memory and nostalgia, and that would lead me to impart sentimental weight to even the most mundane of objects. I am thankful that I finally sought assistance, and I am particularly and deeply grateful to have found Lynne to help me on this journey. Her kind and sympathetic yet determined guidance has been more helpful than I can put into words. Both of my parents grew up during the Great Depression, so nothing (NOTHING!) which might be useful or repurposed was discarded. Also, once they were prosperous enough to buy more than just the bare necessities, something in their mindset compelled them to "stock up", just in case. The house contained an absolutely overwhelming amount of STUFF. Yet somehow, Lynne always found a place to begin, or proposed a goal that could be attained. Lynne has been such a huge help; committed to keeping me focused on the tasks at hand, and firm in her belief that I could accomplish them. Countless times Lynne listened to my doubts and indecision, then gently asked questions about how the object that had me "stuck" in that moment would pertain to MY life, or would be used in MY home, and often helped me realize that it was something that I could part with. There were moments where I was ready to shut down in distress and shame (the discovery of a mouse nest in a desk drawer comes to mind) but Lynne helped me to clean it up, get over it, and carry on. There were also moments of laughter, like after finding multiple vegetable peelers, we decided to keep a count of just how many were to be found in the house; kitchen, pantry and basement (there were 17, several new in their packaging). Clearing out the house has been a demanding journey, and I am so grateful to have had Lynne by my side to help me navigate it. I don't mean to portray her as some kind of over the top super-hero (she too is human!) but gosh, I could not have asked for a more accepting, supportive and steadfast person to help me with this monumental task. I will be forever grateful for her help.

The tips and ideas you offered as we went drawer by drawer and closet by closet will make it easy for us to STAY organized. And you envisioned arrangements we could not. They make certain they are following your goals and not theirs. I like that she care about creating systems that can be maintained. She also cares a lot about using time productively. Sometimes we will be done with a project five minutes early, but she will not leave. Instead she will go get started on the next project so that she is being productive until the last minute. She even stays a few minutes extra. She also organized our shed and we couldn't believe the results. I used to think the shed is full but now we realized we actually have a lot of extra space. She listens well. I find that for the most part she requires very little supervision. We are doing the garage now and we will be using her to do the closets and the rest of our home too.

The building was locked and I was told the auction people had left and that room was all locked up. I sent an email right away to make arrangements to pick up my things. One day later I got an answer-- pick up was not possible as my items were " donated". I then called this company and asked when I would get a refund? Answer: no refund. I consider this stealing.
