Duct Pro had the earliest availability of the companies I reached out to but would not use them again for the following reasons: First, I was told via email I would receive a call 15-30 minutes prior to my appointment. The appointment had a two-hour window (12-2) and instead I got a vague text at 10:10 that they were on their way. I don't live at the property so that did not help with planning and if I would have left at that time, I would have been waiting an hour in my car. An hour later, I received a call that they arrived, an hour early mind you, so I told them I would need 15 minutes to get there and was told "not to get upset" even though I was stating it in a calm and matter-of-fact way. Secondly, as far as the service is concerned, scare tactics were used to try to upsell me on a $50 special dryer vent cover (using a dirty one with regular holes) and trying to tell me that I would get condensation and ceiling damage if I had a clog. He tried to charge me another $60 to clean a tiny layer of lint at the bottom of an older dryer, and when I didn't want to pay that fee (more than 50% of the original cleaning), was told that "maybe your father is handy and he can do it," to which I replied that I can do that myself. What does my father have anything to do with it when I'm a 30-something year old woman? Would he have sold a 30-something year old male that father comment too? Highly uncalled for. Third, to drum up additional business, he told our tenants that their AC ducts were dirty and needed cleaning and sent them into a panic that the entire unit was bad (that was a very fun mess to deal with after). Updated Review: Since talking to my husband, I was not home at the time of the cleaning and inspection and I love this company even more! Wow! I found Duct Pro Cleaning on Yelp, and my husband called them the next day at 10:30 AM. Two men were here by noon! They inspected our fireplace and cleaned the dryer vent. We need this done annually because our homeowner's association requires it. We will be calling them again!! Their certificate was excellent. On a side note, (Last year, we went with our association's recommendation, and the company they recommended was terrible. Blew out our dryer from the inside out. It separated our vent, and we had no clue it happened until we smelled fumes and realized the vent had become detached.) I never thought I'd review this kind of company. Adam did a great job with a seasonal cleaning of our chimney, installing a chimney cap and doing a crown repair. Our chimney was a nonstandard size so other caps wouldn't work, but he kindly offered to order the right one for us, and come back to install it. He was very easy to schedule with. They showed up on time, explained everything he would do including cost and timing. And he took before and after photos so we can see the results. I found Duct Pro on Yelp and hired them to clean my ducts, dryer vent and inspect my chimneys. They provided an initial quote and we agreed upon a date and time. Their service turned out to be great and they were very responsive and reliable. When I thought there was an issue with my dryer they specifically came to my house again to check it out and help me troubleshoot it even though it turned out it wasn't related to the work they did.
