But…read moreI do appreciate that the trains run on time and easily can get from one terminal to another as long as you pay attention to signs. There are some flights of stairs or escalators depending on if you need to go up or down to the trains so beware of that. Other than that, we were able to go from a gate in North Terminal to a gate in D Terminal in about 10 minutes quite easily. I'm sure there are a bunch of new stuff here but I literally saw two gates and a train while I was here. So until next time!

For whatever reason, the Duty Free stores sell this cologne for far less than he can get on even Amazon. On this latest stop over, I picked up two bottles for a total of $130; apparently that same number of bottles would have been $40 more anywhere else! Customer service was good and I appreciated the heads up about a potential bag charge at the checkout so I could just chuck them in my backpack and keep it moving!

It can take a few trains to get there, depending on where you are. You still have the ability to get some snack, use the restroom and such, but make sure you have what you need before getting on all the way to the terminal, because it takes a little longer to get there. At the airport, staff refused to honor this and demanded an extra $120 baggage fee before letting him check in. I personally had to pay the $120 on my credit card while the supervisor (Sonu Khunt) stood by, refusing to issue his boarding pass otherwise. This was not optional, it was pay or miss the flight. Condor's own website clearly says online Premium Economy upgrades include the 32 kg bag. Their staff ignored this policy, and the fee was charged under duress. I've filed a complaint with the Washington State Attorney General and disputed the charge with my credit card company. Travelers beware: Condor may not honor their advertised Premium Economy baggage benefits.

There are also the requisite chocolate chip cookies. Large picture windows reveal airplane hangers and Mt. Rainer in the background. The lighting is much better than the other lounge. This is an OK lounge; I wish they made repairs in a timely fashion.

The carpet makes a horrible impression. It's dirty and gross, but if you can look past it, you'll find a good selection of breakfast food- cereal, muffins, fruit, egg bites, yogurt, and juices. There's a small espresso machine that makes all the basic coffee drinks. It's not great coffee, but gets the job done. There's plenty of seats, but not many tables so expect to eat your food from plates on your lap or work from your laptop on your knees. There aren't many outlets either. Overall, it's a decent experience. Not amazing, but gets the job done.

After a gritty over crowded underground train ride the doors open and a mad rush of human waist head for the escalators. I'm included in that afterbirth of people but I'm special. I skip the shops and head for "THE LOUNGE"! Alaska Airlines has their premium lounge for people who pay to be pampered and of coarse I pay for that privilege... I enjoy the spectacular view of planes taking off while having unlimited tasty beverage ( sometimes alcohol ) and typically morning goodies. This refuge allows me to hide out from the scourge of humanity waiting for a plane to somewhere... Ok, there are plenty of dining and beverage places to wet your whistle including a Wendy's can you believe it... In fact grabbing a chili for my flight is a wonderful idea. It will keep the travel people away from me as I'll donate some of myTreblinka fumes into the ozone layer... Moving onto the shopping well many opportunity's to purchase candy or clothing and maybe even a silly souvenir of our local sports team. Enjoy your experience and have a wonderful flight! Date of visit: July 22, 2025…read more The concept of the different "pods" of gates to help control traffic (likely both people and planes!) is a nice one, but the biggest issue I have with it is that you are unable to walk everywhere you need to go and have to rely on the trams to get you where you need to be if you have a connecting flight. I wish all airports would let you stretch your legs and strut from one end of the terminals to the other, like Atlanta does. All that being said, SEA and the North Satellite Terminal are in overall good condition and the letter/numbering system is straightforward and easy to follow. Like most airports, stairs are an after-thought yet all of the escalators and aforementioned trams were in good condition.

It was very crowded in the space to other people were definitely all up in your business like participating in the hunger games.

There is a nice mix open and more quiet spaces with areas with a lot of light in case the sun is out. The large bar is comfortable with the usually great SEA service. Food is about the same as the A1 club with a few extras. Being on the far end of the A concourse this club already seems quieter than the A1 club between the A and B concourses.
