Very disappointing experience with Condor Airlines. We flew from Toronto (YYZ) to Milan (MXP) via Frankfurt with our two-year-old child. At check-in in Toronto, we specifically told the staff that we would gate-check our stroller and needed it during our five-hour layover in Frankfurt. We were assured this would be possible. After landing in Frankfurt, the cabin crew told us Condor doesn't return gate-checked strollers during transit. We then went to the customer service desk, where the representative told us she had requested our stroller and directed us to baggage claim. We walked all the way there, waited for nearly two hours, and were eventually told that the stroller would not be available after all. Because of the incorrect information provided by Condor staff, we ended up wasting our entire layover, walking across the airport multiple times with a toddler and no stroller. We even had to leave the airport and check in again for our connecting flight. What made the experience even worse was the attitude of the customer service representative. She was rude, dismissive, and showed no empathy for the situation. Throughout the entire experience, different Condor employees gave us conflicting information, and no one took responsibility or genuinely tried to help. Traveling with a young child is already challenging. Spending five hours running from one end of Frankfurt Airport to the other because of poor communication and unhelpful staff made it an incredibly stressful experience. This level of customer service is unacceptable. I hope Condor improves staff training and communication so that other families don't have to go through what we did. read more

this was the worse flight I have ever taken. to begin with, I purchased premium economy seats, which were terrible- old, squeaky, uncomfortable seats. but the worst part was the workers-extremely poor customer service, poor food, and no snacks or drinks offered on a 9 hour flight. the worst part...the bathrooms were not attended to at all. mid flight the bathrooms were so bad I could smell them from my seat. when I expressed concern to the stewardess, she responded "what would you like me to do?" My father flew Condor from Seattle to Frankfurt. He upgraded online to Premium Economy the day before the flight which Condor advertises as including 1 checked bag up to 32 kg. At the airport, staff refused to honor this and demanded an extra $120 baggage fee before letting him check in. I personally had to pay the $120 on my credit card while the supervisor (Sonu Khunt) stood by, refusing to issue his boarding pass otherwise. This was not optional, it was pay or miss the flight. Condor's own website clearly says online Premium Economy upgrades include the 32 kg bag. Their staff ignored this policy, and the fee was charged under duress. I've filed a complaint with the Washington State Attorney General and disputed the charge with my credit card company. Am Flughafen wurden wir dann gezwungen, 180 US-Dollar für dasselbe Gepäckstück zu bezahlen. Das ist reine Abzocke. Zusätzlich kam unser Gepäck nach dem Rückflug auch noch beschädigt an - mit defekten Rollen und einem Riss im Koffer. Alles in allem: verspätetes Gepäck, überhöhte Zusatzgebühren durch eine nicht funktionierende Website, mangelhafter Kundenservice und beschädigtes Gepäck. Für uns steht fest: Nie wieder Condor. It is very dishonest of Condor to present their sale price and schedules, and once booked, Condor changes the flight schedules. I just got back from a trip with Condor flying business class and premium economy. When I purchased the tickets on December 18, 2024 for travel from June 12 through June 23, 2025, the departure flights from PHX to FRA to FLR and returning flights from LIS to FRA to PHX. On December 27, 2024, Condor changed departure flights to PHX to SEA to FRA to FLR and returning flights to LIS to FRA to SEA to PHX. This extra leg of going through Seattle (SEA) basically added at least another 8 hours of travel (each way) between the layover time and getting through customs on the return. In total, each way was more than 28 hours per trip (departure and returning flights). The time to get to the airport in advance and layover times in between each flight. I've traveled quite a bit during my career. Airlines would category me as a "professional" traveler. I'm pretty easy going and have experienced a lot of hiccups with airlines along the way. This is my first post about any airlines. I don't recommend this airline for this dishonest practice of bait and switch, and I will never fly this airline again. I took advantage of a global sale on Alaska Airlines, so I booked a R/T to Prague on Condor Airlines (they're part of the One World Alliance). I then was directed to Condor to select seats. Condor's website is unclear and difficult to navigate but I finally was able to book seats/overhead bin space. I had to change my return flight and discovered Condor's website did not reflect the flight change, so I couldn't book seats/bin space on my new return flight without customer service. The US customer service number is nowhere to be found. I eventually found help, and while surly, she was able to refund my original costs so I could re-book with the new return flight. The whole experience was so bad, I looked up reviews and saw that Condor has a solid 2.3/5 stars across the board. After reading horror stories, I decided to cancel the trip. Alaska was easy. But Condor? Nope. I never received a refund for my seats/bin space. When I called customer service, Condor said it had NO record of the $180 it had charged me for seats/bin space (although they could see the canceled reservation). She directed me to an online form that didn't work and took me over an hour to complete, so she also gave me an email address to use. I had to provide screenshots of my bank account, receipts, and a long, detailed explanation. After spending HOURS on phone calls, refund forms, and emails, I still have received only a partial refund even though the emails I receive say they will respond as soon as possible. READ CONDOR'S REVIEWS and know that it's a crap shoot - your experience may turn out fine or it may be a nightmare. read more

Me and my partner booked connecting flights with Condor: Vancouver Frankfurt Heraklion. The first flight was delayed by over 2 hours, causing us to miss your connection. Issues Encountered: Lack of communication: Despite being told we'd receive a rebooking confirmation by email, no such information was provided. At the Condor service desk, we were informed of a rebooking on a flight arriving in Heraklion at midnight. This created a logistical issue, as: Our accommodation was in Chania, not Heraklion. Our car rental in Heraklion closed at 11 PM, so we couldn't collect the car. When we explained this, the service agent was rude, unhelpful, and: Refused to rebook you for the next morning. Refused to provide a hotel in Frankfurt or Heraklion. Shouted at us, threatened to call security and denied you access to a phone or for us to talk to a manager. After being dismissed by the agent, a manager checked you in to the midnight flight without offering alternative options or proper communication. read more

Worst customer service I have seen in 40 years of travel. They lost one of our checked bags and after following it (we had an AirTag on the bag) thru 3 countries.. countless attempts to speak with the airline or get thru to them via their website and visiting Lost luggage departments in 3 airports they sent it home to the U.S. To add to the inconvenience of having to purchase some clothing to wear in a foreign country ... upon our return home there were new clothing items stolen from the suitcase. Provided Condor with receipts for the clothing as well as evidence of the purchase of the stolen items and they claim they are unclear ...and will not process the claim. I sent them copies of the ACTUAL receipts and credit card statements for the stolen items... all of this was appx $1237.00 USD. It's impossible to reach anyone .. they don't have a designated check in area at the airports (apparently they share with other cheap airlines) and their website is abysmal. Spend the extra $50 and fly Austrian Airlines. read more

Before I went on my Seattle - Frankfurt trip with Condor airlines, I read all those 1 star complaining reviews, thought lord have mercy, this will be an awful experience. But it turned out very nice! I'm having some anxiety flying, but both flights (back and forth) were very nice. Just happy to be alive. Smooth start and landing, hardly any noticeable turbulences, no complaints. Flight crew were overall friendly and attentive. Maybe one or the other guy could have been a bit nicer, but I can't complain, we're all just humans. Both check-ins were fairly quick and easy. After arriving, all my baggage arrived quickly, in fact I never had to experience flying that my baggage got lost, with any airline... And I'm usually a pretty unlucky guy. The airplane was very clean. Of course the leg room is not great, but what do you expect flying economy? The meals where surprisingly good, filled me up. Beverages, everything was there. Lots of movies free to watch. Respect on the flight crew how they manage to serve so many people on such a tight place. So all I can say is thank you Condor, for making my trip a breath! Next time I have to visit my family in Germany, I will gladly fly with you again. Also my daughter said, this was one of her best experiences. read more

The good part of flying with Condor was that the planes were clean, food was ok as well as inflight service ! The stewards and stewardesses were cordial and friendly. Our flight out of Seattle to Rome was uneventful- everything was just perfect. Our flight back from Rome to Seattle via Frankfurt was not. Per pilot, due to weather in Frankfurt, we sat in plane for over an hour in order to get cleared for take off. Fortunately, we got there just in time for boarding the plane to Seattle. The bad part of our experience was that we had made reservations well in advance and paid extra for our seats in premium economy so that 2 family members would have aisle seats. On our way back from Frankfurt to Seattle, without warning or due notice, they changed our seats and only 1 member had an aisle seat.! I suffered on that 9 1/2 hour ordeal because I had a recent hip surgery and needed an aisle seat as well as my other family member. I don't care if they reimburse us for taking away what we paid in advance for seat selection but that is not right to do that to someone who had reason to pay for those seats !Because of what they did I wouldn't recommend them . read more

I think the biggest aspect of picking an airline is if you got to your destination safely and yes 100% I did. I got to Germany and back in one piece. However this is for the accommodations and customer service. Other aircrafts give you entertainment. If you wanted to watch a movie you would have to on your phone by connecting to WiFi. Honestly this is the most annoying way to watch films because your phone is dying constantly and you have to hold your phone versus just looking at the seat back for your movie. The food on the flight was not good at all- the first flight was pasta and tomato paste. Umm ok, be aware this is the low budget airline and you're not gonna get what you pay for as far as accommodations and customer service. They don't notify you of any updates on travel notifications- it's 2021 and Covid be sure to look everything up. Because that's what they said to me I needed to make myself aware. read more

My flight experience was pleasant. I made the Frankfurt-Seattle journey, the plane wasn't full so the flight attendants were nice enough to sit the passengers with some space between them. Plane was of an old model (Boeing 767 300ER) but restored, functional and well cleaned (which I really appreciate). The staff was professional and nice, within what it's expected from an airline. My seat didn't have much space, although I chose one aisle seat so I was able to better manage that problem. Food not so good, which is maybe the only small complaint that I have. Considering the prices and my experience, I recommend it. read more

My husband and I flew business class on Condor from Seattle to Frankfurt as well as premium economy in the bulkhead seats from Frankfurt to Seattle on the way back. The flights were fantastic and well worth the money we paid - it almost feels like a steal when compared to business class ticket cost on the US-based airlines. Although the check-in process in Frankfurt leads a little to be desired (we weren't aware that you had to go through passport control again at the gate, and communications weren't too clear), I chalk that up to cultural differences - none of the Germans seemed to be having any difficulty with this, so it's probably standard practice. We otherwise did not have any difficulties with the check-in process. The in-flight experience in business class was extremely comfortable. We were provided with plush blankets and very nice amenity kits with everything needed for the flight. The seats were lie-flat with a slight twist - the feet angle down very subtly - but I had absolutely no difficulty sleeping through the night, which is abnormal for me as I can never sleep on planes. Meal service was delicious and very filling, with some seafood starters and then multiple options for main course. During dinner, we had approximately 9 rounds of drink service from our very friendly flight attendant. We also had a delicious breakfast in the morning, with white tablecloth service. I didn't watch any movies going over, but going back there seemed to be a very reasonable selection of movies in premium economy. Although the seats in premium economy did not lie-flat, they were perfectly comfortable and our service was again very good, although not as frequent as during the business class flight. All in all, I wouldn't hesitate to fly them again. read more

This is one of the worst airlines to deal with! I had booked a trip back in Feb. for round trip Frankfort, Germany. Well, I had called the airlines in May to see if I could change the return date, and that's when I found out that the airlines had cancelled my flight 3 days after I got the tickets in Feb. I NEVER got the email, and I check it along checking the junk box everyday. I told them, after rechecking my emails in Feb., that I never received that email, plus,,,,,,,,, I never got my money refunded! They said they sent me the refund,,,,,, so I doubled checked my bank account & no refund from them. That's when I went to my bank & explained the situation. Of course they checked too for a refund,,,, but couldn't find any. So they promptly gave me a $2,364.00 credit to my account. This is an update to my last review. I've increased my rating by one star because I did finally receive my refund. Regardless, I will still never fly with them again. Here is a quick synopsis. Our flight was cancelled back in May. The processes of providing overnight accommodation and rebooking were chaotic and disorganized. After submitting for reimbursement of other expenses incurred, it took well over the promised 8 weeks to finally give me my refund. However, my main reason for not wanting to fly is due to the unfriendly, uncaring customer service representative I dealt with on 9/19/2018 who had the audacity to get smart with me when I was upset about the poor service I had received. Per my original review, Condor did make the safe decision not to fly in light of maintenance issues, and did eventually reimburse me. That said, I will give Condor some advice. Please train your customer support reps to be supportive and sympathetic to its customers. Believe me, the last thing you want to do is match wits with a customer. At the end of the day, we are the ones that keep you in business and it is therefore imperative that we are treated with courtesy and respect, and that our concerns are taken seriously. Otherwise, we will be taking our business elsewhere, just as I intend to do. read more

Very recently this year Condor started nonstop flights from Seattle to Frankfurt Germany and other destinations in Western and Eastern Europe. We are talking about 10.5 hours on the plane people...it's not that much fun. Before I get into the actual flight experience, I wanted to mention the excellent customer service I received over the phone with these guys. While booking my EU flight online, my credit card company decided to block my card (common practice these days)...after spending nearly 20 minutes on the phone to get my card unblocked, I had to call Condor in hopes of still being able to get the same flight and rates. A gentleman with a German accent, very patiently made sure I got my flights. Even after my CC company decided to block my card once again, LOL. He waited until I got off the phone with them on another line and helped me complete the transaction. There was no fuss, only a very calm demeanor and a few jokes about my overly cautious CC company. I ended up getting a different card after my trip ;-) As far as the flight itself, it was as pleasant as 10.5 hours on a plane could possibly be. Flight attendants were courteous and accommodating. We had lots of drink breaks and 2 meals...although the later was very German and may not be appealing to an American pallet. Their rates seem to be very competitive, so I see myself flying Condor again across the pond. read more

Please, please, please AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! The worst customer service experience you will ever encounter. Flight from Seattle to Frankfurt was "delayed" 32 hours. Ok stuff happens but why not officially cancel the flight so at least you can re-book on another airline right? Nope. They are keeping your money along with your sanity. Well at least they'll be super accommodating due to the huge inconvenience right? Nope. The staff at the Condor desk in SeaTac claim they are a 3rd party company and refuse to re-ticket or provide any useful assistance including a hotel or meal vouchers. Oh by the way, the desk is only staffed 2-3 hours prior to a flight. Here's the punch line for this awful joke of an airline... the 3rd party airport staff instruct you to call the toll-free number for assistance. After 55 minutes listening to tortuous hold music the very unfriendly call center agents then inform you that because you're within 24hrs of departure you can only get assistance from the airport staff. LOL You're stuck in your very own Seinfeld episode. Funny stuff unless you're the one trying to get help. For extra laughs try asking for a manager/supervisor - response: "sorry there are no supervisors available until business hours Mon-Fri". You've been officially warned. I take international flights often, and this was my worst experience ever. They added a leg to the trip; it took an extra 8 hours (Seattle to Frankfurt via Alaska with a long layover) and the lines were huge, yet I couldn't check in at the kiosks. Despite the fact that I had to check in-person Seattle and again in Alaska, annoyingly, and I was inaccurately to another terminal that was a 30 minute walk but was closed. Anyway! On the flight, there's no free tv or movies you pay per show (that's expensive on a 12 hour flight). I have a food allergy, so I called before to reserve a special meal. I waited on the phone for almost an hour, then I was told that I would have to pay 17 euros each way for these meals. I reluctantly agreed. But halfway over the Atlantic, the flight attendant apologized profusely that the meals i paid extra for weren't available. Never again. read more

This review is posted on behalf of my 81 and 82 years old parents who flew with Condor round trip from Frankfurt to Seattle. Their initial trip was canceled after they showed up at the airport with no explanation and not compensation for the trouble. They had to come back the day after resulting in missing a precious day of vacation with their grand children. The return flight wasn't much better, they were put in an exit row seat which meant in front of the restroom, with no ability to extend their feet or recline their seats. In addition, the A/C was blasting cold and most passenger were wearing blankets around them. The crew didn't seem to care. Finally, the food was atrocious. This is the worst airline I have ever experienced. Zero customer service and the following complain has been made several times with no response or resolution. I am putting this on Yelp so you can see our experience and decide not to book. I booked two tickets round trip on April 2, 2017 for flights departing on June 24, 2017 from LA to AMS via Manchester. On June 2, 2017 we received a schedule change notification that they had moved our return flight to MAN from AMS and that we could no longer depart on the 3rd to make the scheduled flight from MAN back to LAX. Your solution was for us to leave AMS 1 day early (July 2nd) and stay in Manchester AT OUR OWN EXPENSE. This was impossible for us, as we were in Holland to celebrate my mother-in-law's 75th birthday on the 2nd. After hours and hours of phone calls and negotiations, the best solution they would agree to was to reissue our return ticket from MAN to LAX and have us pay our own way to MAN from AMS at our expense. This cost and additional $405.50 and was completely unacceptable. We were hostage to this choice as rebooking the entire flights would have cost us double what we paid with such a close outbound flight date - and Condor did nothing to make up for this. When we tried to check in online for our outbound flight LAX - MAN, we found that the assigned seats that we had paid for were not available! We called and spent 30 minutes on the phone to be told there was nothing that could be done and to talk to the airport staff. We did this and they were not able to help us either as you had an equipment change which made a different seat floor plan. So we were told there were no comparable seats available to what we had paid, and were offered no solution other than to not sit together! We were shocked that this part of the flight which we planned for so carefully would not be taken in comfort for this overnight flight... and the staff said that they could not even reimburse us for the cost of the seats - that we had to call you! Upon return, I spent an hour on the phone between the booking agent and Condor and was told that neither agency can refund these seats and that my only recourse is to complain on their website. More time spent trying to chase down solutions - totally unacceptable. How can they treat your customers this way? We clearly did not use the seats, paid for them, had to spend +400$ out of pocket in order to use the trip we booked with you months in advance... unbelievable. I am currently trapped in a hotel in Las Vegas, now 15 hours delayed for a flight to Frankfurt. Condor promises to get us to Frankfurt today, and has claimed that an update will come through the hotel front desk. But I am beginning to believe that I'm in the proverbial Hotel California... This was for an academic conference, and I am now almost certain to miss my presentation. I will be demanding a full refund, and disputing the charges on my credit card. UPDATE: This delay is now a 48-hour delay. A full 767 of passengers (Condor DE 2063, departing June 4) trying to get to Frankfurt is required to sleep at a hotel for two nights beyond their scheduled takeoff time! Condor refuses to put us on other carriers, no matter the urgency of our requests. I am missing an international conference, and my professional reputation is possibly being damaged. I have received no promises of reimbursement, and in fact have had no communications from Condor at all. This is without question the worst possible airline experience. We chose Condor for a Seattle-Vienna trip (connecting in Frankfurt) based on price and the itinerary Condor.com listed as the first option, but we were shocked to discover ourselves stranded in Frankfurt with no options to finish the trip other than to purchase an entirely new ticket on KLM at a last-minute price. Condor has a bizarre unwritten policy of allowing you a maximum of one hour to pass through the labyrinth of shuttle busses, passport control, security check, and half-mile long terminals, to make your connecting flight - the very connecting flight that Condor happily sells you on its website. If you make it to the gate in under an hour and the plane has left, you are eligible for rebooking. If you arrive in an hour and ten minutes due to long waits for shuttle busses or long lines at passport control and security, and you sprint the full half mile from the shuttle bus stop to your gate, yet through no fault of your own and the boarding door has just closed, you will absolutely not be rebooked. At this point Condor phone and in-airport agent informs you they are under no further obligation to the customer and it will be up to you to find your way to your final destination!! To add insult to injury, the Condor agent at the customer desk in Frankfurt will tell you it's not their problem, that it is an EU policy (it's not). And while the agent is blaming you for your troubles, she/he will most definitely not share the even more shocking news that your return connecting flight will be cancelled - yes, cancelled - because of the missed outbound connection. In all our years of flying, and my wife is a travel agent, neither of us have encountered an airline that simply abandons its customers in the middle of a continent, short of their destination, refuses rebooking assistance, and blames the passengers. A legitimate airline would call your connecting airline and at least rebook you on standby to your final destination, which would not incur any additional cost to either airline or the shared customer. Unfortunately this is not an isolated incident, as evidenced by tragic similar stories across the web. Bottom line, you get what you pay for with this airline. And sometimes you get a lot less than you pay for. I would not use this airline if I was taking a business trip and had to make a meeting on time, or catch a cruise ship, or attend a wedding. If you read the reviews you will see there are plenty of other reasons not to use this airline. You are throwing your entire itinerary and trip enjoyment into doubt when you fly Condor. read more

Since my initial review, which was really bad because of the Seattle ground crew (see below), they have hired different staff. While it is still not at an Alaska Airlines level, it has much improved. And, again, once you are actually on the plane, the Condor crew is great! ========== I have flown with Condor several times and once you are airborne, I have found the service to be good, the crew to be very attentive, and the planes to be as comfortable as any other. However, the folks staffing the check in counter in Seattle are terrible en large. They had my wife in tears, were very rude, and clearly don't want to be there. This is the worst airline I have ever flown. This is even terrible than spirit. The food is just horrible. They charge you for headphones and for the entertainment on a 11 hr flight from Seattle to Frankfurt. Not just that, the staff are most rude and unfriendly that you will ever encounter. Don't fly this airline if u can. This airline should go under and I hope it goes bankrupt pretty soon. read more

Condor would get 0 stars, if it were possible, for my flying experience. Thanks, Thomas Cook for nothing! I purchased my one way flight from Verona, IT to Seattle in early December to reserve my seat for my July 10th flight. My harrowing experience began with being unable to check in online so I called Condor and they assured me everything is fine, just go to the airport to check in when I arrive. I arrived 2.5 hours early to the Verona airport for my flight back to Seattle. Upon checking in, I find out the first leg of my flight from Verona, Italy to Frankfurt, Germany was canceled with no notification of it being canceled. I called condor and was on hold for 1hr 14min (paying full international rates) before I spoke with a human. The "customer service" rep said I need to buy an entirely new flight back to the USA. They said they could not re-route me, could not provide hotel accommodations to fly out another day, could not pay for meals, etc. With no other options, I had to purchase an additional $2000 flight to fly back to Seattle the next day out of Venice (which means paying the bus fare to train station, train fare to Venice, hotel for the night, additional days of food, purchasing an additional international cell phone plan, missing work wages for a day, an additional 24 hrs of my time and severe emotional distress, which I cannot quantify). All things considered, I'm out over $3000 out of pocket which I did not plan on. Again, thanks Condor. For nothing. To anyone considering flying Condor, DO NOT!!!! I highly suggest spending the extra couple hundred dollar to fly Icelandic air, KLM or ANY other reputable airline. Anything but Condor. I will never fly condor again and I am trying to save as many people from having an experience like mine, as I can. I believe the airline should be extinct just like the condor flying dinosaur. If you fly Condor, be ready to pay over $3000 additional because they can just cancel your flight and apparently are unable to do anything about it. Terrible. No leg room, lower weight allowances for baggage than any reputable airline. They weigh your carry on bag and allow 6kg. To put that in perspective, my laptop weighs 2kg and my empty luggage bag weighs 2.5 kg. That means if i wanted to bring 2 laptops or God forbid some clothes, they want another hundred us dollars. Same with checked bag overseas. Other airlines allow 23kg, roughly, 50 pounds. Condom air (Yes Condom) allows 15kg, Roughly 30 pounds checked. OH AND WORST OF ALL, the Condom air (yes Condom) luggage scales register .5kg higher than the other ones I used in the airport to configure my luggage! I checked three other airlines scales! No leg room, in flight entertainment an absolute joke, food would be illegal to serve in a prison, and they spend the whole flight trying to sell you crap. Customer service varies, they're usually very dismissive and rude. Easily the worst airline u can fly on. read more

My wife and I recently flew out of Seattle to Frankfurt on condor airlines. We flew "premium economy" and it was worth the little extra we spent. For starters we got to go in a faster security line. We boarded the plane earlier then others, and the flight was one of the better flights I've ever been on- I've flown Alaska, delta, us airways, United, American, and jet blue. Sitting on the seats when we sat down were a blanket, pillow and a grab bag including headphones, eye mask, ear plugs, socks and toothbrush and paste. I've never seen that before on a flight. The in flight entertainment was awesome- new movies and tv shows for a 10.5 hour flight. There was the most recline and leg room I've ever had, and the dinner and breakfast they served was seriously the best airplane food I've ever had either. Lots of on flight service. I'm not sure what everyone's deal is but for a direct flight to Germany from Seattle, this was awesome! Be aware that this is a super popular airline in Germany, but not so much in Seattle, meaning they have one check in kiosk that opens about 3 hours to 3.5 hours before your flight. Again, I was premium economy and it was worth every penny! read more

Revising it now that things are done. Customer service: 1/5 - Unacceptably long waits. They've been helpful in getting some flights refunded after I canceled, but it took nearly an hour waiting to get through to a person. They seriously need to hire more people, and there seems to be a lack of online technology compared to domestic flights for rebooking, cancellations, etc. Flight: 5/5 - Went really fast, food was pretty good. Note - you don't need to purchase the premium meal, but if you get the free meal, make sure you're not lactose intolerant, because I had pretty heavy meals on the flight (e.g. potatos and sausage, mac and cheese, bread and butter, chocolate cake). Price: 4/5 - Pricing is fair compared to competitor flights, but it feels nickel-and-dimed at times. For example, if you want to reserve your seat, it's extra. In-flight entertainment for a nearly 11 hour flight costs another 8 euros, and the headset is like 3 euros(?). Still cheaper than competitor flights, but having traveling nearly 150,000 miles on Delta, there are some things that should come free. read more

The worst Airline I have ever flown. I travel to Europe every 2 to three years. My experience with this airline was a nightmare. Before landing in Frankfurt I got very sick , called for help and was ignored. There was no bag for airsickness. I resorted throwing up in a napkin. In addition I got food poisoning from the cantaloupe breakfast, but was not allowed to use the restroom. No help from anyone. Never again will I fly this airline. read more

Don't let the 2-stars fool you, Condor is a great value. If you're looking to get a good deal on a flight from Seattle to Europe, fly with condor. However, if you prefer to spend a little more to be comfortable on an airplane, Condor is not for you. This was the most uncomfortable long-distance flight I've ever experienced. Usually airplanes for long distance flights are slightly more spacious and comfortable and well equipped than a flight from say Seattle to San Fransisco, but this one was not. It was a smallish plane, with seats crammed in everywhere possible. The leg room and chair width was at the bare minimum, and I am not a big person ( 5'5 and 140 lbs). It's doable, but you're gonna be a little cranky on the other side. Weigh that with the fact that you'll probably save several hundred dollars by flying with them. read more

Condor knew that our flight on May 31, 2018 from Austin to Frankfurt was not going to be available because on May 29th - two days before our flight - they took a plane from Frankfurt to Austin and put it on another route. We got to the Airport 2.5 hours before our flight to find this out. We had a business class ticket but we were offered a JetBlue flight to JFK and after a 6 hour layover on to Frankfurt. It was unacceptable as we purposely bought a business class so we could have a good sleep on our way to Germany. The airport was a zoo with over 200 hundred people in line and only 3 out of the 8 agents actually working a computer. The rest of the agents just stood around watching the other work. I showed the agent an acceptable flight on American Airlines but was told it was either JetBlue or nothing. We ended up cancelling our whole trip and drove home. We are still out the $1,800 for the hotel, which was non-refundable and the flight on Lufthansa roundtrip from Frankfurt to Berlin - about $400. The main thing is that Condor KNEW the flight would be cancelled but didn't bother to notify the passengers so they could arrange alternate transportation. They knew 48+ hours in advance! The Condor manager at the airport was completely rude and refused to give us his business card. And if you try and reach customer service by phone, you will be out of luck. No one can get through. They knew in advance of this big problem but didn't have enough people to answer the desperate calls coming in. I wish I had read the horror stories on their Facebook page before I booked this flight. I also read that they do not respond to over 70% of complaints and it takes 2-3 letters to even get their attention. They flaunt the laws that are their to protect customers because they figure most people will just give up rather than take them to court. It's a calculated plan. This airline disgusts me and they do not deserve even one star! read more

Condor airlines REJECTED unaccompanied 8 year old minor to a flight! We are really disappointed in Condor airlines. Our child was traveling alone (from Zagreb to Vancouver) and they rejected him on flight claiming that child doesn't have proper travel/immigration documents, which child of course had everything ready and up to date. Condor ground service just rejected a 8 year old child on the flight without even calling the parents or they could even call immigration service to consult, it's a 8 year old child, not an adult and you just cant do something like that. Luckily Lufthansa which was the escort on the first flight took care of everything, gave a lunch to the child and on their own booked next available flight. I WOULD NEVER EVER ALLOW MY CHILD TO TRAVEL WITH CONDOR AIRLINES, AND AS WELL WOULD NOT RECOMMEND CONOR TO ANYBODY. read more
