The salad came out first with a side of saltines and I was immediately impressed by the appearance of the greens and tomatoes, both looks very fresh and it would surprise me if the lettuce wasn't locally grown. The ranch served with the salad was delicious and a nice portion size. When the main course came out, I was excited, it looked wonderful! I opted for the fried okra and it definitely was fresh cut and fried, that batter was light and more akin to a good onion ring. The country fried steak was a very generous portion and also fired in that wonder crispy, even batter that wasn't too clumpy and it didn't have too much cornmeal like other often do. I've eaten hundreds of country fried steaks and I currently deem this one the king, champion of all steaks country fried. I can't believe that experience only had a menu price of $7.99; it was so wonderful.
