It's a convenience store, so you don't expect much, but the hamburger meat is ground fresh daily, tasty, and combined into a great sandwich. It's a 5-star burger. Was driving back to Georgia after spending the week in Wilburton. Lunch time hit me when I was close to Poteau, so I jumped on Yelp to see what was around. After driving by several places, Bud's was packed so I figured I'd try it. Got a burger, beans, coleslaw and a peach pie...everything was awesome! Burger tasted like the ones my granny used to make when I was a kid. I didn't get a return call from him so I called Bud's Country Junction the following day. The young lady that I spoke to said that I would need to talk to Eli but he had left. I left my name and number, again no return call. I was going to get him to cater an office function but will not be calling back.
