I had ordered a piece of chocolate cake for my appetizer (not unusual for me). I finished that piece of cake after I finished the tamale spread. I washed all this down with some splashes of Louisiana Hot Sauce on the tamale spread and a large glass of ice water that was generously refilled by the fantastic server, Heather! Good sweet mother of Jesus! A friend said we HAD to try this place for the burgers. Oh boy, what a burger. We drive from Ft Gibson to Ft Smith (78 miles) just to have a burger here at least once a month. The fries are great, shakes are awesome. Nice clean environment and a good price on the food. Rob and I went to Patrick's for the first time last week. We loved the customer service and the atmosphere. The burgers were the BEST! They make them with fresh ground beef right in front of you. The are fresh cut and they give you plenty, but they weren't very crunchy. read more

If you find yourself heading down I-40 in western Arkansas, and see the sign for Mulberry, it sure beats fast food., and it is real food for likely cheaper, depending on what you get, and all of it is worth it. If you are like me, have to travel a lot, and get sick of the same food at every stop, it is worth it to take a load off for a few minutes. I don't usually write reviews for places like this, as I am a harsh critic and know plenty of other writers. This is my favorite greasy spoon in Arkansas , and if you don't know me, suffice it to say that really means something. Real food, good people, and easy on the wallet.
